Everything. Worst experience ever

The location is beautiful. The viewing jetty and set-up are well planned and the rustic furniture add to the charm of the location. Gardens are beautiful and well kept. Ice and fire wood available to purchase.
The mattresses on the single beds in nr 6 definitely need replacement. We stayed in nr 5 before and the bed is much more comfortable. Otherwise, no complaints.

Quiet and safe place to relax next to an Angolan border river. Hippos can be spotted from the terrace. Lot more hippos when having a fishing trip. Very nice host couple.
The closest supermarket is at Rundu (70km). Bring your own food & drinks.

The scenery is stunning, the beds comfortable and clean sheeting was provided. There were fans in the rooms - a big plus. Beautiful surroundings. A peaceful stop-over facility. Friendly host.
Understandable after Covid-19 year many facilities have not had money for upholding properties. But to sleep with spiders in rooms and visible cobwebs in the patio room (of the family bungalow) weren't really very inviting. Dark brown water streamed from the bathroom taps. So all had to shower with limited warm water.

The landscape
Unacceptable. I booked 2 lodges for me and my friends. In both, we found big fat lezzards. Because there are several holes in the roof and the net around is broken. In my lodge there was a big heap of termite's dirt under the bed. We asked to remove it and and to do something to protect us better. They only put a insect spray. We didn't sleep at all in the night.we didn't feel safe, we always were thinking about posible snakes coming around. My husband killed 2 fat lezzards like I show in the pics.
