Marston Croft is an absolutely fantastic B&B in an idyllic location. Amanda is an incredible host--friendly, helpful, willing to go the extra mile. Amazing breakfasts with homemade jams and marmalade, plus Amanda's famous fried bread! Comfy bed, fluffy towels, everything absolutely first rate. Terrific wifi. Beautiful countryside surroundings, but convenient to Leicester. Plenty of great dinner options nearby. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Absolutely nothing not to like.

Very pleasant and friendly hosts - nothing too much trouble. Room, view and facilities were top notch - only let down was the miserable weather on the Saturday which changed our plans somewhat.
The weather - not much we could do about that though!

Nothing at all to dislike except leaving earlier than would like

Amanda and Graham were the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were staying with close friends. The facilities were amazing, we felt we had everything we needed, and were spoilt by a fabulous full breakfast spread and baked treats left for us in our room.
Wouldn't change a thing!

Lovely setting, friendly accommodating hosts. Optional hot tub had I wanted to use it and/or had time to use it. Lots of birds in the garden. Nice ancient ridge-and-furrow field behind.
No desk in room, but it's a B&B not a hotel, so that's normal. I could probably have used elsewhere in the property had i asked.

Lovely breakfast of fresh fruit and full English, quality products home baked or made. Very welcoming and friendly host, nothing too much trouble. tea and home made cake on arrival. Home made biscuits in the room. Spotlessly clean room, quality bathroom. Beautiful sitting room.
. Real effort made.
Room a little cold but I’m sure the host would have found me a heater if I had asked. Sausage overcooked for breakfast. Only nit picking. Hard to find anything bad to say

Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts and a lovely, clean and comfortable home. Breakfast was wonderful and Amanda had made a big effort to cater for the vegans in the party. I wish we could have stayed longer and had the chance to enjoy the outside space and sample the homemade cake. A really lovely place. Thank you Amanda and Graham.
