Customer service - from arrival to departure- was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and kind! The location was great, close enough to the zocalo but also far away enough so it’s quiet at night. The facility itself is beautiful. Room was clean, bed comfie. The landscaping is impeccable!

Beautiful property, great history and location. All the staff was very welcoming.
3.5
Amazing location, staff is super friendly and helpful - loved them! Building is amazing-not to be missed! The green spaces and pool within the walls of the property creates a sense of tranquility, feels like a true oasis.
We stayed 3 nights at a boutique hotel before we came to QRO and the contrast was significant- Quinta Real Oaxaca feels like it's for my parents generation and I'm 62! Important amenities like clean fresh drinking water is a non-negotiable in Mexico and a hot climate but they squirrel it away and dole out one mini bottle per person in each room per day. You have to ask at the front door for more mini bottles every day or go buy your own which is what we ended up doing so we didn't get dehydrated. At the boutique hotel, they had self service fresh cold water drinking water available 24/7. Aside from the bathrooms & amenities seeming dated from a past generation, the landscaping and art feels the same too.

Location is excellent and the buildings, gardens and pool were besutiful
We had a room for 3 but the room facilities were set up for 2; only 2 cups, 2 bathrobes, water for 2, not enough towels etc., despite asking for more this was not forthcoming

Breakfast was excellent! Staff was very friendly!
Everything was exceptional. The only improvement I would recommend is an update to the shower.
4.5
The location is amazing, everything is nearby, it's very central, perfect for visiting the city.
For breakfast i ordered some room service, it was very good, had some delicious papaya in the morning.
I'm not a coffee drinker so would be nice to have some tea in the mini bar

Fabulous hotel in the middle of the Cultural Centre of Oaxaca. Beautifully presented old building but delivered modern comfort and facilities. Simple but delicious breakfasts & plenty of it
Junior suite with 2 doubles was very tight and didn't have enough storage space for 3 people. We were there for 2 nights, so we managed fine.

The central location is perfect!
It was large and would have been nice if staff had of provided an overview upon checkin

What’s not to like? I saw comments expecting more art in the rooms. The simplicity of the decor makes this ancient convent speak eloquently for itself. Wander, explore, travel in time
Noisy room beautifully resolved by night staff

The historic building is amazing. Also the location is very good.
The bathrooms need urgent renovation. Quite disappointing for a hotel of this price range.

Quinta Real was central to everything we wanted to visit and taste (great for these first-timers to Oaxaca). Pool was exactly as it appears in pics. Special shout-out to Eber for setting up our day trips and the lovely housekeeping ladies!

It is a lovely former convent, very well maintained and so interesting. Location is excellent. The pool is amazing.
The restaurant is good but quite expensive so we mostly ate out. The gym is good but quite small.

loved the oversized old building, beautiful ! the area was exceptional! the service was A+, as well as the room turnover , 2x a day. loved the oasis w the pool. very relaxing.
I did not like first floor room right on street. I also did not like they had functions in the banquet room that was very loud and did not end until 10 pm on Thursdays.
