Darling 2 bed/one bath cottage at the foot of Tubbs Hill! Wonderful hiking and great location, just steps to restaurants and shopping!

This house was great! Location was perfect. Just steps to everywhere! Tubbs hill, 3 min walk. Shops & restaurants 5 min walk. Huge park w/splash pad right next to house. House is definitely old, built in 1910, but owners have done a great job making it comfortable. Kitchen had all the necessities. Washer & dryer was nice. If you’re looking for a house with great location to everything, this is it. Owners communicated well via text. Check in and check out were easy. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. It has the perfect neighborhood for walking to the park, the lake, and town. There are many nice restaurants close and shops as well. The house was very comfortable and clean. There were a few problems which I sure could be easily remedied: there were very few plug ins , the freezer didn't work well, and the dryer didn't work well. Also it would have been nice to have a few cleaning supplies like a vacuum cleaner and a mop. The beds were very nice and comfortable. The house was very comfortable.

Location is great. Home is not. Freezer didn’t freeze food, BBQ a fire hazard and outside upkeep poor. Inside old but ok. Floors wavy and carpet very dirty ( bring your slippers ). Housekeeping ok, but under couch and cushions not vacuumed lots of stuff still there including dog hair. Available vacuum didn’t work well to take care of it. Add to that wildfires started and blew smoke into the area which gave us only one good beach day. Would have given a rating of 3 as it was overall very usable but gave a 2 because it was overpriced. I have stayed at Sanders Beach area before for less $$ and had nicer and cleaner accommodation.

Great location! Charming old house

The location is perfect. Right in town. However, not sure when the pictures were taken because the property did not appear as in the photos. The porch was dirty, the plants dead. Inside, the carpet was stained and filthy which made me wonder how clean the rest of the place was. The floors are uneven as if the foundation has shifted. Overall we had a good time, but the host needs to put some serious money into the place, or depict it more accurately.

Inside was clean but outside back by the BBQ was full of leaves and debris. Also the chairs for sitting were full of dirt and droppings from the surrounding trees. The lock on the bathroom door is broken out so you can’t lock it so that needs to be fixed. Was advertised as sleeping 6 but really only sleeps 5. Refrigerator, freezer, washer and dryer worked well. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and glassware but the silverware was a bit sparse with only 1 teaspoon the rest were tablespoons. Plenty of towels but we still had to wash and dry them but all in all ok. I had to wash out one of the garbage cans because it had dried liquid/food in the bottom.

The house was across from the park and had decent beds and furniture. We prefer to rent homes and cook at least half our meals. The kitchen knives weren’t sharp and utensil selection was pretty bare, coffee cups were old and stained so kitchen could stand to be freshened up but we made due.

Thank you, we had a fantastic stay, and would definitely stay again. No kidding, we were steps away from everything we wanted to. Really appreciated the central location. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and neat for our arrival.

Great location! We were able to walk to the lake and restaurants. We were also able to get on the bike trail near the house. The property manager was always available if we had any questions and even brought us some beach towels before we went to the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot for a small family due to proximity of park, splash pad and 2 mile hike.

The house was visually clean but had a very musty odor covered by air freshener. The floor is very warped and uneven. The WiFi was so weak that streaming did not function.

While there are a couple few fixes that could be done here. It is a great little house. Very clean and in an amazing location. Walk to everywhere! My husbands family has lived her for over 60 years, we were in town for a visit. Would recommend this house.

Loved loved location, nice house. Only complaint was deck was filthy.

The location of this home is incredible - just a short walk to the lake, park, restaurants and shops. Home is quaint and cute although finishes are a bit dated and worn out. Interior smelled of old cigarette smoke - likely someone who regularly smoked inside years ago. There was no laundry soap, which was inconvenient given we were on a multi-week road trip and needed to wash laundry. All in all, a nice place to stay.

Summer trip
This house is lovely updated & in a great location. Easy waking to downtown, a great playground & splash park and to the lake! This is an older home but has been taken care and updated. It was perfect for our family!

Nice
Place was nice location and clean. Easy and convenient walk to town and park. No place outside except front porch to sit outside and relax or BBQ backyard is just gravel parking. It is old home that has been cleaned and painted nicely but obviously they covered up all problems instead of fixing , mostly very unlevel floors .

Great house in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It was the perfect size for a family of 4 and the location couldn’t have been better. Walking distance to the lake as well as the Main Street of town. Highly recommend!

Cozy Home and Perfect Location
This property was the absolute perfect location! Perfect walking distance to McEuen Park and plenty of downtown restaurants and shops. We took our 4 year old on the Journey to the North Pole, and it was the highlight of our December getaway. The home was cozy and had everything we needed to cook most of our meals! We would definitely stay here again.
Thank you!

Can't beat the location!
This house was just right for our weekend getaway. We were able to walk easily to Tubbs Hill, Sherman Ave and even the seasonal ice skating rink in the park!
For an older house it had everything we needed.
My only complaint is the lengthy lease agreement and online photo ID requirement. I've never had to complete such paperwork for a 3 night stay. Overkill.
Once we got there, the house was as advertised and we really enjoyed ourselves.
