Bob and Sandi went above and beyond to make our stay in Cda so special! The house has all the essentials needed when traveling. The outdoor space was amazing for relaxing and enjoying the weather. Communication through the entire booking process and stay was exceptional. They gave us awesome recommendations for around town. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house was great - small in size but big on the details! It fit our family of 5 quite nicely. The outddor dinning patio was charming and private. Location was close to about everything, we walked to most places. The host's communication was excellent. We had zero issues and a great stay.

The whole family enjoyed our stay. Sandi made it very special with a personal message to us and immediately responded to any questions we had. One bedroom is in the basement so was much cooler than the rest of the house, which we needed that week. The appliances and dishes, towels, and bedding were of great quality and everything was so comfy! The back patio was awesome in the morning while it was still cool. It was close to downtown and had good biking paths too take. I plan on coming back to this little house again! It truly was perfect for the 4 of us!

Cute and comfy cottage that fit our family of 5 and is conveniently located minutes from the lake beach and downtown. We would definitely consider staying here again, if we get lucky enough to revisit CDA in the future.

My family truly enjoyed everything about the Yellow Door Cottage. Sandi made sure our family would be cool and comfortable during a heat wave and set up the AC and fans before our arrival. The house is well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, extra linens, and towels for our trips to the lake. The beds were so comfy, and there was plenty of space for our family of 5.
We would recommend this cottage as a great spot for families to land during their stay in Coeur d'Alene!

Cute little place. Very clean and great location. Lower level has a narrow steep staircase so not great for an elderly person, but it was nice and cool downstairs on a 100 degree day. Bathroom is on main level and worked well for the two of us. Main level had a comfortable queen bed and several pillows to choose from, but they were all the same. It would be nice to have a few feather pillows for picky sleepers. Wish we would have had a chance to use the bikes. The neighborhood is wonderful!

Wow! What a lovely place to stay!
I was in CDA for a soccer tournament with my kids ages 10 and 7. We stayed in this home with my friend and her daughter so that we could have a quiet place to sleep and a kitchen to make healthy meals for the weekend.
This home was absolutely perfect. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed-including delicious coffee provided by the host (so delicious, in fact, that I ordered a bag of it for my husband!)
There were so many fun and beautiful details about the home, including beach toys and towels (it's walking distance to Sanders Beach), a porch in the front where we enjoyed morning coffee and reading, and a table and chairs in the back where we ate dinner. The lilac tree out front was in full bloom and we were treated to such a lovely scent each time we came "home".
This home had everything we needed-plenty of towels, extra sheets/blankets, shampoo/conditioner, fans, full kitchen, etc.
The host was so kind and helpful with suggestions for the kids and was very helpful with check-in/out.
I HIGHLY recommend this home for a peaceful getaway. The location is wonderful-quiet and beautiful neighborhood but a nice walk to downtown. If we come back to CDA we will surely look to stay here again!

The location is wonderful - just far enough away from downtown to be peaceful and close enough to walk if one were so inclined.
The layout is excellent and efficient. It's perfect for 2 or 3 people. Kitchen is extremely well equipped - we cooked Thanksgiving dinner! Sandi has really thought of everything. There's one bedroom upstairs and a second downstairs for easy privacy. Full laundry on site.
The backyard was lovely with garden beds and seating. I'm certain during good weather we would have lived out there.
The Yellow Door Cottage was a dream. Sandi and I communicated easily and she was super attentive. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to CDA.

Perfect location really close to downtown and biking, hiking trails. Had everything we needed. Directions for access were easy and outside seating area (not much inside) was private and spacious. Access to the bikes were a must for us and even though one of the tires were flat (unknown to her) the owner accommodated us quickly. Her responsiveness in all communications was immediate. The cottage is really cute and very comfortable. With 3 people or less I would definitely rent again.

Our family of five stayed here for a weekend trip to Silverwood. The cottage was beautifully renovated and very clean. It’s a small home, but perfect for our stay. They had everything you could have wanted: good coffee for the mornings, beach towels, an umbrella for rainy days, coupons for restaurants in town, Caraway cookware(!)…I could go on and on! The pull-out trundle-bed was perfect for our three kiddos. The personalized note welcoming our family was a nice touch that made us feel for the first time that the owner of THIS Vrbo actually wanted us there! The lower level stayed very cool at night and the air conditioning upstairs kept the kid’s bedroom nice and cool.
We would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again for our next trip!

What an incredible place to stay in Coeur d'Alene! The house is so comfortable with everything you could ever need and the perfect location! The owners were also exceptional. So kind and helpful but allowed us to make it feel like it was my home for the week. The backyard was the most relaxing and beautiful place to read, eat, and enjoy. Bob and Sandi might just be my new best friends and we will definitely be back year after year!

Visited CdA for a guys golf trip. This was perfect for the 4 of us. Very close to the resort course and multiple other courses were a uber/lyfe ride away. Neighborhood was quite and close enough to walk home to from the bars downtown since it was difficult to get an ride from there on a Saturday night. Hosts were super friendly and even let us drop bags off just a little before check-in. Thanks for the stay?

Cozy vacation rental
The location of the property was awesome and provided many options for different activities. My family really enjoyed time outside with the comfortable sitting areas, BBQ, and fire pit. The kitchen provided everything necessary for eating meals at “home”. Although the cottage was on the smaller side, there was more than enough room to enjoy family time or sneak away to have some peace and quiet.
