מאוד מומלץ !!

מדובר בחוויה יוצאת דופן. השירות היה מעולה, אירוח ברמה הגבוהה ביותר שאפשר לדמיין. החדר נראה בדיוק כמו בתמונות, מאובזר ברמה גבוהה, העיצוב פשוט מושלם והכל היה נקי. הבונגלו נמצא באמצע הים ויש פרטיות מלאה מלבד סירות בודדות שעוברות מדי פעם ולנו זה ממש לא הפריע (יש כמובן גם וילונות). אפשרות לארוחת בוקר צפה ומפנקת בבריכה.

הבריכה קצת ישנה וכתוצאה מזה יש קצת חלודה במים.

Breathtakingly Beautiful with Service Beyond what Money Can Pay for!!!

The place was exquisite from the time you get in until you leave. The staff are very happy to have you, they'll smile at you, greet you, offer help even beyond what's paid for. The food is amazing; a buffet breakfast, expert cooked a la carte menu, 5 course dinner, amazing cocktails and all of them made ready in time. There are small pools infront of every room for a chill dip, the pools at Isaraya water villas are a little bigger, the place is cozy and the views are breathtaking. The main infinity pool perfectly overlooks the clean white sandy beach at the clear blue ocean waterfront. There is nothing bad to write about this place. Honestly!

The past reviews on booking.com paint a very different picture of what this place actually is and I hope everyone gets to revisit it and see how magnificent it is.

Relaxing, amazing views and good company

The staff were amazing. They went above and beyond and made our stay wonderful. The beach was fantastic, the room was absolutely gorgeous and the food was great

Great place, wonderful service, peaceful and beautiful view.

The staff was incredibly nice! The Villa was beautiful and the sunset was the cherry on top.

The road to get to the hotel wasn’t great! The entrance/ lobby decor and reception area wasn’t matching up the expectations.

I would like to make a complain about my stay at Konokono hotel in Zanzibar. Whereas the offer was for a luxury villa with private pool and sea view in a 5 stars hotel, it appears that the service offered was very far from a 5 stars standard: accommodation is really old, badly managed and even dirty and has nothing in common with the pictures on booking.com.The welcoming was very cold and not friendly.Moreover, beyond very poor light, we noted in our « villa » that the flush was broken and dirty, there was dust on the ground, and there was even dejections of animals everywhere (small lezards but still really annoying, in particular near the bed). The private pool was also very dirty especially the tile joints. Long chairs in the villa and in common areas are in bad shapes and dirty which doesn’t give any good alternative to relax. Even if the hotel is located in nature between trees, it appears that no effort is made to clean anything and make us confortable. The common places were not better: the space is old and not clean, and at meal time, there are cats everywhere around the tables, between our legs, or even on the tables of the buffet or of other guests! In addition, the staff does nothing to chase them away, and doesn’t care about complaints of customers. This was really disgusting, and the food did not save anything as it was not good. In the buffet, we also noted a dejection of animal, and the staff laughs when we made the remark… When we decided to take a shower, there was no cold water so the water was really hot, and then it switched totally: impossible to temper the water. In the morning we could hardly get water, only a very small trickle of water. The air conditioning was also really noisy, and if we manage to stop one of the air conditionner, we did not have the remote for the other one… For all these reasons, we decided to leave the next morning even though we paid for 3 nights.

I will never recommend this place to anyone- horrible location and very unfriendly customer service

I made a reservation but when I got there the hotel was not what I expected and the hotel description did not provide clear representation that the hotel was in a very remote area and the villas were in a forest which really spooked me to stay and I asked for a cancellation of which the hotel charged my card without confirming if i wanted to use cash or my card. I normally use bookings.com and never do they charge my card automatically the attendants always ask first. This is pure wickedness to have a non-refund policy which i didn’t see because i book severally on bookings and never have my card charged it’s only used for reservation. Now the property is adamant on not refunding me despite explaining to them i was scared to stay in the property. The place was soo empty and only saw like 2 couples in the pool side. I didn’t stay at the property and pleaded for a refund as I wa afraid to stay there but they refused.

Unwillingness to be flexible, understanding to put the customer’s needs first.

it was not value for money

the villa being over water was great.

the service was terrible. the phone in the room was not working the first day we arrived, it only got fixed the next day, the floor was wet when we got to the room, they said it was because it was raining meaning nothing will be done about it they’ll just keep mopping every so often, which is inconveniencing. the room wasn’t cleaned well when we arrived. we paid for all inclusive I think there should be some sort of improvement on the drinks menu. they should consider refurbishing. towels had a horrible smell, not sure what detergent was used.

staff was fine

everything is bad there , very durty very scary , the gardens are very dirty , i was not felling in safety and it’s like a sauvage camp not resort , the electricty and water could shutdown 2 to 3 times for a period of 1 hour and sometimes more ,there is care about the pest control in the hall places and I was attacked by the monkeys in my private pool

Passable

The bungalows are comfortable. The monkeys that you can feed and have some contact with them. The Paje villa 30 min from the property that you can really enjoy good food. You have a few restaurants but we enjoyed the restaurant “ Rainbow Food”.

Although the bungalows are comfortable there is a lot that need to fixed. We stayed 5 days and there was constantly shortage on the electricity and water. The small pool on our bungalow needed a lot of fixing, majority of the glass was lose and if you are not careful you can cut your feet. The breakfast was Ok. The hotel has a restricted menu so if you expect to get some African food be prepared to get fast food. For dinner is restricted as well so in my case that I am allergic to chilli I struggled a bit. Another problem is the cats around. I have nothing against animals I actually love them but for my fiancé that he is allergic was a bit complicated. They are too many and the staff doesn’t try to make them go away unless you ask them thousands of times. Not all the staff understands English so sometimes is a bit hard. Five days staying and we had only once entertainment that lasted for 20/30 min. I asked one member of the staff if there is more entertainment and the answer was that we could go to the bar next to the hotel. To be honest I wouldn’t mind to go during the day but at night I don’t feel very comfortable to go. Anyway this shouldn’t be the answer and the hotel should provide some entertainment otherwise around 22h you are already on the way to your room. They provide some music in the Only bar they have that is as well the same restaurant where you can have all your meals but sometimes you barely can hear the music. The last issue is not the hotel fault but if you are going for the beach forget. From morning until 14/15h is low tide and the beach is full of seaweed. We love the sea but in this case we spent majority of the time in the pool.

NOT 5 STARS AT ALL!!!!

I liked with helpfulness of the staff. Also, the venue beside the resort with music, entertainment, and shisha. The location is about a hour and a half outside of anything you could possibly do. They ONLY take cash on the property. All 5 Star Hotels and Resorts take cars OR cash. The food choices were minimal. The best thing I ate was pasta on the last day.

I didn’t like that the nonexistent water pressure, not being able to flush the toilet, the leaking sink, dirty bed sheets, and dirty Villa pool chairs.

Bad and not recommeneded at all .. I dont even give it 3 stars hotel!

friendly staff and view ONLY

almost everything! Not clean, too expensive for such facilities. Many power cuts which caused lack of water to the toilets and facilities. very bad maintenance for toilets, doors and rooms. we reserved 6 nights and we just left at night 3 to not ruin our holidays in such hotel. I reserved Private pool villa and it was not clean and no TV, unlike what mentioned in my reservation. Management was not cooperating to my refund request. fridge is not working because of non-sense reason.

We loved our stay at Konokono!

Delicious food served at the restaurant. The friendliest and most helpful staff - especially the waitresses. Beautiful beach in front of the hotel. Upgrade free of charge to a beach view villa due to a malfunctioning pump in the garden villa pool.
