Very clean. Nice living room and kitchen.
Nothing.

Everything about the hostel is great and Ill definitely stay there again when visiting Glencoe - there are large and clean bedrooms, good cooking facilities, and most importantly great customer service.
We had a breakdown on the way and instead of 10pm, arrived at 3.00 am. The staff got up to check us in and did everything to minimise the disruptions.
Thanks a lot for saving our trip!

Toilets need to be improved and showers were not a pleasant experience.

First time in a hostel, good sized room, comfortable bed, good shower.
We didn't pay for breakfast as it didn't seem worth having. We did feel food options in Crianlarich weren't good in general, the local pub food was not good, which although isn't a reflection on the hostel is worth noting. Local shop is well equipped however.

I have stayed at Crianlarich Hostel many years ago, in fact 19 94, and the building and facilities are now much improved, very good. The staff very helpful, polite and excellent we both thought, This was the first time my daughter had stayed in YHA so she was a little apprehensive at first, but thought it was excellent, much better than expected..
Nothing to dislike.

Great location. Good Londis shop next door
Being a Monday morning the next day the cafe at Crianlarich station was closed.

Nice bright reception area and common areas, lovely location.
The room had copious black mould along the front ceiling to the point where a hole had appeared letting rainwater actually run down the walls. The electrics are also on this wall. This room is in such poor condition it should not be available for guests until the damage is remedied.
The women's toilet is also some way off.

Everything was great

Staff all fantastic and friendly, loved the comfy lounge area, big drying room and warm clean bunk room.
The showers were quite weak and hard to control the temperature - my only complaint!
6.0
The kitchen was dirty, there was some kind of oat that was spilled all over the fridge, and it looked like its been there for a while.
In general it felt very unclean and unpleasant.
There wasn't even the basic things like oil and salt, or clean towels.
The rooms were nice, comfortable beds and clean linen.
The showers were dirty and slippy, i tried my best not to touch anything unnecessary.
You can't flash the toilets.
All in all, not the highlight of youth hostels

The shared room was nice and cosy.
a) It took a very long time before the overflow tube in the mens toilet was filled. b) I like fresh air during the night, but there only was one small window in the room. c) price-quantity of breakfast seemed outbalanced to me.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean.
The lock on our room didn't work. There was no point in issuing us the access cards! It was a noisy place! Our room faced towards the front porch. A few people were talking outside our window after 11pm! The walls are very thin and we heard noises throughout the night. Toilet flush didn't work.

Very big room for a youth hostel (private room).
Comfy beds.
Washing mashine+dryer present.
Staff was helpful.
The ceiling in the room was a bit mouldy.
Low water pressure in the showers.

Everything was great. Nice kitchen and very nice staff. The location was perfect.
The only thing was that in the room was a little bit cold and wi-fi only works in the reception.

Excellent place to stay, and perfect for a base to explore the area.

Our second stay here and will no doubt visit again. The location is brilliant for exploring the Crianlarich Hills or the West Highland Way. Right in the village, next to the train station.
The staff are also absolute superstars - helping us out before we caught a late train (thank you!) and generally being really friendly and helpful. Much appreciated! We are already looking forward to visiting again :)
