Great location but not kid or noise friendly prepare to be paranoid.

Location very central Size was amazing

This is a residential building, and so the neighbour below does not like kids walking or chatting. He left a note on our door about the noise day 1 and then came up to our room on another day to further complain. DO NOT stay here if you have kids. There is no warning stating this before you book. It was very uncomfortable knowing i had to be paranoid on my holiday, hoping our little kids didn't disturb the angry man below. I would not have booked had i known and the notes from the host in the apartment when we arrived warning us of the neighbour would have been helpful before i booked so i could of chosen a more suitable place to stay for me and my family. I basically paid to stay at a place so i can be really stressed and paranoid on my holiday.

Lo antiguo no debe estar reñido con el estado de conservación.

Era un barrio tranquilo, el piso era amplio y cabíamos todos los que íbamos. La atención de la persona que nos recibió fue buena, a pesar de no hablar español, puso todo su empeño en que nos entendiésemos.

La limpieza del piso era muy mejorable, así como la limpieza del menaje de cocina. Las sabanas de una de las habitaciones tenia manchas de sangre ya seca. Solo nos dejaron un juego de llaves a pesar de ser 2 familias, lo cual nos condicionaba cuando teníamos que salir. El armario de otro de los cuartos tenía las puertas descolgadas y para conseguir que se mantuvieran cerradas, debía echar la llave, la cual a su vez se caía constantemente al suelo, al tener la cerradura en muy mal estado. Por último, nos cobraron la tasa turística, pero no nos facilitaron ningún recibo en relación a esto, por lo que no tenemos comprobante de que el dinero que entregamos en efectivo se haya utilizado para tal fin. En general no nos hemos llevado buena sensación del piso.

Great

Spacious, clean, quiet building, good area close to the Termini. There was staff there to receive us. Easy check in and check out.

The air conditioners in most rooms aren’t good enough.

An excellent stay for us four friends.

Location and excellent facilities. Close to railway station but quiet. Brilliant bakery and deli just up the road too. Large supermarket 7 mins walk away.

Because it is on the 4 th floor a long haul up steps but there is a working lift which takes one person at a time.

Exceptional

Franco was very nice and greeted us to tell us all about the property. It was centrally located and easy access to the buses and trains. All under 7 min walk. All appliances and showers worked great. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean and spacious Apartment in the heart of Rome

We enjoyed pur stay @ House Montebello very much. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which was perfect for a family of 6. It“s only 10 minutes from Stazione Termini, supermarket, bakery and a small market right on the street. We will definitely come back!

Very nice location and apartment.

The property is location is good. close to Metro and Bus stops. it has convenient stores very close: a bakery 30 m from the door, a market with fresh vegies also 20m from the front door. The rooms were clean and large enough for us (my three daughters wanted to sleep in the same room and it was big enough). there are three bathrooms but we used only one because the draining is not that good in the other rooms.

The open market below the apartment is a bonus but they start organizing at around 7am which makes some noise. didn't bother us but worth mentioning. we couldn't operate the TV (nothing was showing...)

Great place in great location

Huge apartment in a very good location, walking distance to train station and metro. Host was great met us at the apartment, bottle of wine in the fridge for us and he gave us a very thorough tour and explanation around using the old fashioned lift etc. Decor is nice with artwork and sufficient furniture everywhere. Kitchen had all amenities we needed and even coffee etc to use. 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms down the hall. Locks on each bedroom door suggest it may be rented to 3 different couples at same time, however as a family we didn’t need the locks etc. Working safe was added bonus. Wifi was great. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and metro simple to get too all sights.

A food / clothing market is on every morning which is nice to walk around but not nice to be woken up to when they are setting up at 5am! Bed headboards need replacing as material is falling onto the sheets Also need a clothes rack inside as hanging the washing outside the bathroom window 4 floors up is not ideal.
