Exceptional

I felt so comfortable and well cared for here, right down to every detail. The rooms are adorable, unique and with VERY comfortable beds and bedding. The bathroom is also beautiful and unique - a skylight over the shower makes it feel almost like you’re outside - and I left wanting my future bathroom to be designed like this!!! Breakfast every day was delicious and the large dining table led to great conversations with the other guests. A touch that I really appreciated (as a runner who drinks lots of water) was the water dispenser in the kitchen to refill my water bottle, and the fresh pitcher of water the staff left in my room every day - water in Mexico can otherwise get really expensive! I felt very safe in this neighborhood. I had a late flight and the hotel was flexible with my late arrival, and also gave me transportation recommendations that saved me a good bit of money. They kept my luggage for the day after my checkout as I had a late departure flight as well. My only complaint is that there are a few bars nearby whose music I could hear late at night while trying to sleep - but that’s not the fault of the hotel! Even considering that, I would absolutely stay here again because it was such a convenient, comfortable and enjoyable stay!! And I will absolutely recommend it to friends and family!!

Unique stay that truly makes you feel like you are staying in a home in Oaxaca.

I loved the character of this B&B. The price was right on point for the accommodation. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We enjoyed the "honesty bar" and amazing breakfast! Truly a gem of a place.

I loved everything, but if you are a traveler that requires air conditioning to be comfortable, then this may not be the best place. They had a fan, but the room did get a little warm. We were hardly in the room and for the price, we were okay without having air conditioning.

Great location and must stay place in Oaxaca

The location and the layout of the hotel is excellent. The rooms are big and value for money. The place will feel like home and the dining area is also very nicely decorated. I loved my stay.

overall a very nice stay

room tended to be too warm . it did have a stand up fan , but a larger ceiling fan would greatly add to the rooms comfort .

Lovely and warm budget friendly accommodations in the center of Oaxaca. Very homey, colorful, clean and folk art driven.

Loved the warmth and breakfast of this super sweet, cute little oasis. Very central. Very budget pleasing.

Very good

The service in general! Everyone at the hotel had a great attitude, very pleased with the staff.

Even though the place was very nice and the bed was comfortable…the noise level at night coming from the neighborhood was too much. That was our only complaint, but it was really annoying.

Daily changing fantastic home cooked breakfast. beautifully designed! incredibly nice staff! highly recommend!

room is quite dark, but you won’t want to spend time inside anyway :) Sometimes there is some kind of pump switching on in the morning that wakes you up. you might want to consider earplugs.

The devil you say? More like a wonderful paradise in the heart of Oaxaca!

What an amazing island of peace and tranquility in the heart of the Centro district of Oaxaca. Walking through the gates is like walking into a tropical paradise of blooming flowers and sweet scents. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and infinitely helpful, whether it's calling a cab or summoning a doctor. Every breakfast was a treat; a sampling of the amazing food Oaxaca is known for.

Not fault of the property, but the low water pressure makes showering challenging. Further, the water quality is dangerous, and care must be taken not to drink from the taps, or used to brush your teeth.

The receptionist staff was very nice, the location good and as expected. The property is nice, clean and cute

My biggest issue was the noise. In my room in the yard I woke up constantly from the kids of other guests screaming around starting 7 am. The second night, the neighbour's held a party until 5am in the morning (not the hotel's fault) which even with ear plugs prevented me from sleeping. I did not have a single quiet night there. The breakfast served were entirely vegetarian which I find patronizing. If I pay for a hotel I prefer to be informed about enforcing a diet on me. I like vegetarian food but it has to be a choice, same as eating meat. The staff serving breakfast was not friendly and reacted unprofessional at my question if they have some alternatives. If I want meat I shall "go to the market and find meat". Additionally, they served food at one single table so I was supposed to sit side by side with a family and noisy kids running around every morning? Please consider guests that appreciate a quiet stay. You are not a hostel with your prices. All would be fine if you ask your paying guests what they prefer.

The property was so beautiful, clean, and well located we enjoyed it very much! the common spaces were gorgeous and very inviting to make friends with other guest’s.

Superb

Very charming, clean, value for money. The staff were very professional and helpful. Not center of the city but still walkable. But that also makes it a quiet place. Wonderful place look forward to going back

Beautiful hotel with great location

The location is within 10 minutes of walking to everywhere you want to go in Centro and is very quiet. The entire staff is incredibly kind & helpful. The rooms surround a lovely garden area with tables and chairs available to enjoy the space. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and beds are very comfortable! The breakfasts are amazing!!!

Beautiful bed and breakfast with great service!

Location was great! Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious, and room was beautiful. The property is a quaint oasis in the middle of the city. Very cool getting to know other guests from all over, during breakfast in the common area! We had a great time here and would definitely recommend and return!
