Great location, lots of amenities, quiet neighborhood but with restaurants and coffee shops - and the ferry landing and bay - literally steps away. Host was uber responsive and having a two-car garage for parking is a game changer.

What a wonderful stay with my entire family…kids and grandkids! There was plenty of room and the unit was close to Ferry’s Landing and the beach there, which we made use of. The host was easy to get in contact with and very responsive. If I have another family vacation in Coronado, I would definitely book again!

Each year the women of our family get together as a homage to our family matriarch. It is a fun party weekend full of bonding, laughing and catching up to on family. This was a perfect. Great beds and great kitchen. Perfect location close to everything.

We celebrated Christmas and my mom’s 80th birthday at the house. We cooked up a storm and the kitchen had all that we needed to do so. Amanda was great at communicating with us when we had questions. She responded promptly and was accomodating. We appreciated the early check in as we had a lot of food in coolers to keep cold. The beds were so comfortable. We all enjoyed our good nights sleep. We walked to the Hotel Del daily and got to enjoy the shops along the way. We also enjoyed the location of the house to the ferry landing, as we had 6 family members who flew into the SD airport and were able to catch the ferry over to the island. We rolled their suitcases the short distance to the house. The 20 year olds loved taking the bikes for a ride. They really enjoyed the electric bike. Also having the wagon to pull the boogie boards to the beach was nice The garage had ample storage and we were able to park our car in there as well. All in all, we had a great time and made awesome memories in the house. We hope to be back soon.

The rooms and beds were very good; the kitchen was over the top (except for the awkward location of the microwave)!
The many stairs were difficult for GRandma to navigate because her hip was giving her trouble, but everyone helped.
The location was terrific, easy to access.
The couches in the family room would have been improved by having under pillow strengthening.
We had difficulty using the electronic cooling, but other than that, it was wonderful.

Perfect location! We walked to bay and every meal. Wonderful garage so we didn't have to find parking on the street!

Surfboard on the wall was neat but not secured properly. It fell down the stairs. No damage but needs to be secured better.

Clean and tidy with well appointed kitchen and common spaces. Loved the roof top area - great gathering space! convenient to so many things - walking to grocery, resturants and the water taxi ! Fun to have the bikes.

We were down for a wedding and found the location amazing! We could walk to restaurants, grocery, and parks for the toddler.
They had so many fun things for a toddler at the house as well.

We had a great time visiting Coronado for my daughter's 16th birthday. Despite it raining for half the trip, the teens had a blast grabbing the bikes from the garage and hitting Orange Ave whenever they wanted. We had four teenagers and three adults and plenty of room. Definitely will be back.

the townhouse is in a nice location near the ferry landing, so very convenient, however it is right next to the power station, which is a bit of an eyesore. The beds are very comfortable, and the unit was able to accommodate 7 adults comfortably. The garage is a great plus and there are several bikes for use. I did have to contact the owner twice due to an issue with one of the medicine cabinets and the electric shade in the upstairs bedroom. She was very responsive and resolved the issues quickly. The only downside is there is just too much big furniture in the place. The bar chairs in the kitchen are too high for the counter and take up a lot of space. There is definitely an opportunity to upgrade the furniture especially the couches in the family room. I rated it 3 stars due to the need for some upkeep, but I would recommend this place if you are looking for a space that can accommodate a family. It is also pet friendly and was great to have our dogs with us. There is a park across the street, and we went to dog beach everyday.

Great location. One bathroom was not cleaned properly but owner was quick to respond. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Comfortable spacious home. Little extras to make your stay easier - loads of amenities. Tons of space for your items. Spacious garage, easy to use. Owner easy to communicate with (messaged her a few items after our stay, she was gracious and polite). Stayed here with three generations and all enjoyed extreme proximity (literally measure in steps) to stores, restaurants and the ferries to SD. Well appointed large kitchen with all the appliances you could need and plenty of seating. K Cups provided. Large fluffy towels provided. Linens felt high end hotel quality. Even blankets for snuggling are throughout the home. Full size W/D near the bedrooms. Bikes (loads! Even three wheelers!) in the garage. Gorgeous rooftop patio where we watched NYE fireworks in the storm.
The stairs are plentiful and steep. This isn’t a negative, but must be taken into consideration for families.
I’d fully recommend this 4 bedroom triplex to anyone (able) staying in the Coronado or even Gas Lamp/Marina areas. Coronado is quiet and peaceful and like a throw back small town.

This home is so well appointed and beautifully located - convenient and spacious. The home is extremely well equipped.
We felt it needed to be cleaner and perhaps a bit of attention to fresh towels - but overall it was a great experience and the owners could not have been kinder or sweeter. The son helped me load and unload a ton of stuff from my car and was a gem. It's definitely a great stay.

Roomy, Well Kept, Convenient to Convention Center
Best experience we have had coming to San Diego for Convention Center for events in the last 11 years. Easy access to the ferry. Garage space, deck area with grill, bicycles, roomy common areas, large, well equipped kitchen and manager and housekeeper were friendly & accommodating. Fond memories for years to come!

Birthday Trip with Long Time Friends
This property was perfect for 8 adults. The location is walking distance to many restaurants and easy to Uber to anywhere. We hired a private chef and the kitchen was well equipped for a phenomenal meal. Very nice to have a washing machine/dryer. Rooftop deck was awesome to hang out and chat. Will come back to this property anytime we are in Coronado.

Coronado Bliss
First time using VRBO in Coronado. The property was great and we really enjoyed the location. Have never stayed on this side of the island, will definitely come back. Beds were very comfortable, the unit was fabulous and we really enjoyed all being together rather than separate hotel rooms. Highly recommend.

Great place, privacy issues
The place was great and we had a wonderful time. It was my 50th birthday, which I told the owner. The day of my birthday, my family put up some decorations for me saying happy 50th bday. We all left to explore and I then got a phone call from the housekeeper asking me if I was having a party at the house. I said, no it's my bday and my family hung up some decorations for me. She said that the owner saw a banner saying let's party and was worried. So, first of all I'm 50. There is no raging party going on. Secondly, how did she know there were decorations? There was nothing out front of the house. The only way to see was to come up to the door and peer inside. The front door is up a flight of stairs and not visible from the street. If we were there, why are you coming to the door? There are cameras out front so I assume she was watching and saw that we were gone and came to check the place out. This is an incredible violation and invasion of privacy. We were all outraged and did not feel comfortable at the house anymore. (We were leaving the next day.) If you can't trust your renters perhaps you shouldn't have a rental property. I would never rent from this owner again.

Perfect house and location!
Loved the house and location. House is a very short walk to the $7 ferry to downtown San Diego. Very very safe area, beautiful shops across street and nice restaurants around corner. Bicycles in a large garage along with beach toys. House is very well appointed with Wolf stove and Subzero fridge, clean sheets and towels, nicely stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, working awesome gas fireplace, nice rooftop with outdoor furniture and gas grill with extra cylinders, rented a car and didn’t even park in garage as such easy street parking in front of the home. It’s about a 1.2 mile walk or bike to the busier side of the island and ocean beach but the river beach is across the road from the house. Would definately return!

We had a great time and the property is amazing. We had 8 adults and everyone had plenty of room and privacy. We would stay here again if we came back to Coronado!

nice property
Beautiful area. Spacious, we had family of 11 and had plenty of space. Convenient to nearly everything you may need.
Limited outlets throughout kitchen/dining/living space.
Could use helpful information for the many remotes for each television. A/C seemed to be on schedule and froze the third story out all day then shut off at night and it got too warm.
There are areas that could be cleaned better, but that is just my opinion.

Great location- beautiful condo- some maintenance issues
This condo is in an absolutely great location and was beautifully appointed. The beds were very comfortable and we were able to sleep well!!!
However, there were several things that if disclosed would have made a difference. First, the parking in the garage was very cumbersome. It was filled with bikes, surfboards, chairs, etc which needed to be arranged prior to us being able to park our vehicles. We had just driven 6 hours with children so this wasn't a pleasant thing to discover upon our arrival. We had to rearrange the garage to park the vehicles, and then cart our luggage out to the street and up one flight of stairs. It would have been nice to know that the first thing we should have done was try to park on the street so we could minimize the carting of luggage. Secondly, having the bikes and beach supplies stored in overhead racks would dramatically improve space within the garage for parking. Please note that we loved the beach supplies and absolutely appreciated them being there, but the lack of organization was a big hit vs the availability. In addition, there isn't access directly to the condo from the garage. There is a door- but it doesn't provide access so this was quite confusing. In talking with the owner, it was evident to me that she was trying very hard to satisfy all client's needs which isn't always an easy task! The last step of providing storage racks and improving the space within the garage would make it an all-around hit!
On the interior, several of the blinds in the home were broken or malfunctioning. Once again, the owner had ordered them but stated that there was a several-month delivery for the custom shades. It just would have been nice to know rather than discovering that at night you were not able to close for privacy. Also, the location of the switches for the blinds would be nice too. They were in very odd places.
On a safety note, there were several trip hazards. Uneven floors, rugs that slide without backing, etc. On the first day almost every family member, young and old, almost fell from these issues. We do not mean to be critical, we just want folks to be on the lookout so they do not hurt themselves. All in all, we had a great time and sincerely appreciated the responsiveness from the owner. Buttoning down a few of these details would easily give this property a five-star rating.

The appointment was very clean and appropriate for our stay.
The location is very convenient to San Diego and it’s tourist distinctions. We did have a problem with the air conditioning, it was very cold in master bathroom. We contacted the property manager and she tried to help us.
