Location seems fine but we didn’t go into the town as we were stayin en route to the north.
Great breakfast and porridge with milk or water!
Think the springs had gone on the left hand side of the recliner settee

Le petit déjeuner était bon et très copieux et personnel sympathique
La promiscuité (avec la chambre d'en face) et la mauvaise insonorisation à l'étage -1 + salle de bain bouillonnante (bruit tic tic désagréable)

Room is a good size and loads of storage in it, both room and bathroom were clean. Good tea tray and kettle in the room.
Breakfast is great.
Good amount of parking between the two hotels.
There are small things in the room that need attending to - broken picture, wallpaper peeling off carpet needs replacing
Bed is comfy enough but needs tightening - as was squeaky.

Excellent choice of breakfast and the restaurant was spotless and then staff were very attentive.
The weather as it rained all weekend for the wedding.

Good breakfast, nice room, staff friendly. Free bottle of water daily. Comfy bed, good sized television.
Bathroom light wouldn't go off. Hot tap loose. Bathroom snib on door jammed. A bit far out from town centre.

The breakfast was well organised and excellent, but it was served down the street in the flasher part of the establishment
The toilet cistern dripped all night ( water torture) the shower never got even a little warm and blokes chatted in the yard below the window, all night long.

Breakfast was good and staff very helpful and friendly.
Rooms very run down. Ripped settee, holes in wall , blind missing in bedroom so very bright in morning, ripped carpet broken wobbly floor tile in bathroom, rotten window sill in bathroom, rubbish and cigarettes butt's around property giving it an abandoned feeling, lots of crumbs under settee when foot rest put up.

It was ideal for where I was going
Bed was uncomfortable and moved every time I did, bathroom was scruffy wallpaper hanging off, the sink leaked leaving water on the floor.
Breakfast was cold and not very appealing.

Clean, friendly, quiet, convenient, good breakfast, great shower and facilities in a good sized and great value room. I wanted somewhere inexpensive with a car park and breakfast included that was a short walk from Dumfries centre, and got surprised by this lovely place! Ticked every box for us.

We had Family Suite which had a lounge plus we booked a separate twin room. The lounge had 2 sofas, fridge & TV and direct access to outside via patio doors. Plenty of room for our young grandchildren.
Jacuzzi jets need to be maintained for hygiene reasons. (But the bath was amazing!)

breakfast, staff and lovely hot showers. Very cosy comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was a great selection and just perfect for all of us.
I didn't like the use of chemical air fresheners in the room which aggravated my chest and allergies. It was a plug in unit so i switched it off to minimise the issue. It would have been helpful to have a small bedside shelf or table to put our cups\ phones etc on while chilling out. The shower seal looked as if it needed replaced.

Great facilities at and affordable price! cannot fault anything about the place. Clean, comfortable, accessible and a lovely breakfast too. We were staying to attend a wedding in Dumfries and the owners were accommodating in allowing us early check in to ensure we had time to get ready which we really appreciated. On-site parking is also a huge bonus. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
