I stayed in this property in November. Right from booking, I was connected with Mr. Hanif who were extremely helpful and very approachable.
The experience at Sky Desert Safari Camp was unmatched! We booked 2 Jaisalmer tents for one couples for one nights.
Right from the time of booking, Mr. Hanif checked on our arrival, if we needed a cab or any other requests.
There are many desert tents around Sam dunes but too crowded. This property was not too crowded as they only have 20 tents. That was my condition for booking as I was travelling from Mumbai away from the crowd to beat the crowd and hustle bustle.
We were greeted with a welcome drink along with high tea.
The property offered a cultural show along with some starters followed by a sumptuous thali dinner- veg and non veg which were both to the liking of my family.
The next day the hotel had planned a Dune bashing for us- they took us in a Mahindra Thar to the desert for the dune bashing- an experience not to be missed! We stopped for some photos in the desert. We returned to our property for breakfast then we headed to the city to explore. Upon our return from the city tour, the hotel had arranged for a camel safari- they had camels take us to the dune (a 20-25 min camel ride to the dune where they setup chairs and had arranged for tea/ coffee, snacks facing the sunset). This view I cannot express in words and was to die for! Made the experience worth it!
I had requested for the dinner at the dunes that evening as it was my anniversary. Mr. Iliyas went out of his way to make it extra special for us- it was a private affair- the dunes lit up in lamps under the starlit sky, with a campfire and a candle light dinner. This experience was magical and something I will never forget! The dinner served was a thali since they cook it at the property and serve us there- mind you, the food was tasty, hot and delicious!

Our stay was in A 2022truly red season. It was a good experience and was impressed with hospitality and courteous behaviour of Staff and Manager. We reached camp at 0400 PM from Jaisalmer. Mr Nasir guided us on how to plan the iteniary for the day and next day. His Chef cooked delicious food and it was really authenic Rajasthani buffet spread. They took good care of their guest for dessert safari. All through they were engaged if we were comfortable and enjoying our trip. There are many camps in Sam area but I would recommend them. Wishing you good luck.

Excellent Ambiance & Service
The experience was out of the world. They believe in quality service and it was way beyond our expectations. Travelled with family that included members of 3. Stayed for 3 nights and it almost felt like a home away from home. Every member of the staff out there from the time we stepped into that heavenly place, attended us with inexplicable warmth and took care of all our needs with immense care. Very prompt and committed towards each one who visited there. The tents are exceptionally comfortable with all basics in place. The location of the camp is such that it's a few minutes walk up to the golden sands of Thar Desert, the sand dunes are visible with typical desert vegetation at its fringes. One can view sunrise rise from insides of the tents. The designing of the tents are modern and comfortable..

The cultural program was excellent and the food was also very good.
The guy named Shahrukh was very well mannered and very co operative.
The plugs were not working properly. They over charged the customer for camel and zeep Safari. The charged me Rs 2500 for zeep Safari in desert for 2 hours but actually given time for 30 mins and 10 mins time has been given for camel safari and charged us rs 800 which was really unfair. I would not recommend them anymore.

Washroom was good and food.
It was little costly plus the safari ride was more chargeable at hotel and there is no place near by. So we had no option but yo book from hotel.

Went here on our arrival in Jaisalmar during February. As it was Springtime, is was not too hot around 3.30pm. Usually the tours, camps are later to avoid midday sun. We had a comfortable ride out about half an hour from the city and enjoyed taking photos mainly.
If you climb the dunes you can see desert as far as the eye can see. There are camel carts and camel rides if you’ve never tried either. We enjoyed climbing the dunes across from the car park, during February it wasn’t busy either, was very peaceful . I’d always wanted to come to this part of the Thar desert which stretches all the way across a vast amount of Rajasthan out to Pakistan. The sand is soft to sit and while the time away while watching sand beetles or you can take some wonderful photos around you .
We were very pleased to come here and had a guide who took photos and was chatty, but the tour was not worth what we paid and it had a few awkward hiccups with the particular guide on ourJaisalmer tour. Despite planning well and using a reputable guide, should’ve used the hotel to book for us on a tour. At least you there’s comeback if you aren’t happy. Our hotel offered to find us a guide that they used all the time, with a driver and it would have cost 3/4 what we paid, been longer and not embarrassing.

Contacted the hotel owner of " Sky Desert Safari" hotel by phone regarding arrangements for a "CAMEL DESERT SAFARI" as no tourist leaves Jaisalmer or Jodhpur without experiencing a authentic camel ride in the Thar desert. Since there was "Covid-19" travel restrictions there was a lack of tourists for group camel rides.Luckily "Sky Safari" who deal in "Camel Safari's" managed to arrange a camel ride for me with a group of 3 other tourists..The cost of the "Camel Safari" was Rs 4800/ person thanks to the formation of the group of tourists. and left the hotel at 1530 hrs for the 40 kms ride to " Sam Sand Dunes" from Jaisalmer. .Finally we reached " Camel Point " near " Sam Sand Dunes " where our camels were waiting for us to mount them. Camel handlers Mr khan and a young boy Ayub got us mounted onto our individual camels and led us in a single file akin to a caravan towards Sam Sand dunes. It was a amazing 40 minutes ride and along the way passed alongside the plush "Camel Safari Tents" where tourists were entertained to a night of local dance and music after a camel safari ride. Almost all the tourists were local Indians from different states of India akin to me from the State of Maharashtra. On arrival at the imposing Sam Sand Dunes we were dismounted our camels at the base of one of the 30-60 meters tall Sand Dunes and told to indulge in our fantasies regarding photography on the picturesque dunes. .After the setting of the Sun which we observed from the Dunes we were taken to the only lone family farmhouse in the vicinity of the desert owned by Amin .A small isolated village farmhouse with cows, chickens, goats, camels and a small ferocious Indie dog. No electricity and my battery charger was non operational and was hoping it would last me till tomorrow. After a excellent cup of tea we were served dinner which tasted excellent although ordinary vegetarian food .

Been to Jaisalmer in dec 2022, this was not the first time to visit Jaisalmer but yes my first stay in sum. Had to visit with family and specially during pandemic situation so was extra careful for booking and found desert springs. Tents were very cosy, neat and clean. Even it was winters but in tent we really did not feel the temperature. Morning we been to tanot mata and ghantiyali mata temple. Took bharat mala highway road which is amazing and enjoyed the driving. Need to be extra careful with respect to fuel when someone traveling that highway.
Coming back to resort experience I found this place a highly recommended place to stay, food, hospitality and location is amazing. Even for camel safari they are taking to completely different place where there is no crowd.
Staff is very supportive and even I met one of the owner and found him collecting the feedback from guest and instructing his staff on given points.
My next visit as well no other option then desert Sky resort.
Thank you for awesome food and hospitality.

Nothing.
Everything. No hot water in the shower. No water in the WC. They ask for 2000 rupiees more so you can use the AC. Not clean. Room with holes and full of flies. Stains on the sheets. Food poor to horrible. Drop off in a random location instead of the station. Staff 0/10.

It was an ideal location and the programs were good
They gave us a package for site seeing and some adventures but it was worth it...coz they told they'll take us to 3 desert for safari but only took us to one and told that others was closed ...it is advisable that you pay money later

Dinner was ok.
No Lunch, Snacks were served too late. Camps, bedding was not as clean as expected. The guy at the office in Jaiselmer kept on trying to sell safari and other packages. Had to do heavy bargaining to get the market price for safari and other adventures.

The staffs were good
It is all about looting money.Unethical practices ranging from arbid and ununiform pricing from different people.
Most of the amneties mentioned were wrong.
No where was it mentioned that it is entirely vegetarian.
The rooms did not have heater or even tea maker.
It was wrongly mentioned as 24 hr hot water facility.
The charge of Jeep Safari,Para sailing and Even Camel ride is 2X compared to other places.
Everything was taken in advance even without knowing the facility. All were non refundable.
It is more of a Scam. Please beware of these fraudsters

It's away from the prime place where all camps are there and main same dunes are. Also has nothing special except for high rates. All camps are more or less the same.
Very basic amenities and facilities. Extremely high priced. Multiple times. Away from all camps and action.
1.5
poor service. front desk staff refused to even send glasses and ice if you didn’t pay for their ridiculous charges for excursions. get yours from outside the hotel.
