Un hotel para repetir

La decoración absolutamente preciosa como estar en una película de época la limpieza de diez el desayuno para mi gusto muy bueno estupenda ducha y estupenda cama y sobre el personal no tengo ninguna queja

Si tengo que poner alguna pega es que aunque se dice que está en el centro pero hay un trocito hasta llegar al centro y cuando hace frío y lluvia se te hace un poco largo el tramo aunque se puede acoger los autobuses porque está muy cerca la parada

A hidden gem, close to all Dublin has to offer.

The location is excellent. Central to everything. 10 minute walk to O’Connell Bridge. Seemed safe for single travellers. Music in the Cellar was excellent each night. Loved how you could spread out on the comfy sofas. Tasty breakfasts-we chose continental. Hot showers in well equipped bathroom. An elevator and a parking spot were bonuses. Staff were friendly and helpful. Met many return visitors who love the Castle. A hidden gem. Will definitely recommend and return.

It was quite warm, in October, but the small fan they gave you really helped. Beds were a little small, but very comfortable. Not much to dislike. Great stay.

契約は15平米のはずだが15平米あるとは思え無い、ホテルの部屋の見取り図を見ても一番小さな部屋でスーツケースを開けるのも無理だったので、本当に15平米なのかとレセプションに確認したら、翌日から部屋を替えてくれた。暖房はあってもなぜかつかない、（エアコンは無く扇風機だけだから夏はきっと暑い）シャワーの圧はめちゃくちゃ弱く、しかもハンドシャワーではない。街中心（川の辺り）から歩いて15分くらいだし、近くにバス停がたくさんあるので、街歩きには便利だが、ホテルより先は暗く荒れた雰囲気。移民が多いので、暗くなってからの女性の一人歩きはお勧めしない。朝食は2ヶ所のレストランから選べ、地下のレストランは7:30より数種類のメニューから選び、1階のレストランは7:00オープンのセルフバッフェ。ロビー周辺はアイルランドの伝統的な部屋がいくつかあり、とてもロマンチックな雰囲気。ホテルにはレストランやティールームもある。早朝出発だったが、朝食もBOXで用意してくれて、コーヒーや紅茶もどう？って聞いてくれた。エレベーターもあり、湯沸ポット（コーヒー紅茶クッキー付き）、無料の水も毎日補充してくれるが冷蔵庫やティッシュ等は無いのが残念。女性一人旅だったら、もう少し街中心のホテルの方が安心かも知れない。特に冬で日が暮れるのが早い時は要注意。ホテルより街から見て上へは行かない方が無難。

シャワーの水圧がとにかく弱い。冷蔵庫やティッシュが無い。ホテルの位置が街中心から歩いて15分くらい。

Albergo centrale, arredamento caratteristico dell Irlanda, colazione ottima sia continentale che tipica irlandese con porzioni molto generose. Il personale dell hotel gentile e sempre disponibile

Hyvä majoitus tunnelmallisessa rakennuksessa.

Valitsin hotellin sijainnin ja sisältyvän aamiaisen vuoksi. Myös vanhanajan sisustus ja tunnelma viehättivät. Majoittuminen sujui kaikin puolin hyvin.

Huoneen oven lukkoa oli toisinaan hankala avata. Lämpimälle aamiaiselle olisin toivonut hieman enemmän valinnanvaraa kasvisvaihtoehtoihin, joita oli vain yksi.

My visits are now into double figures, I think that says everything.

Loved being able to choose from BOTH menus despite these being in different locations. Staff are happy to bring juice from other breakfast bar to the hot service area. Or you can collect your own along with anything from the buffet selection. Great quality food.

Some of our party were surprised it was noisy BUT that was outside the building and outside the hotel’s control. It’s a busy place and without the early hours clean up routine and early morning deliveries the city wouldn’t be as attractive and businesses wouldn’t operate as smoothly.

I would recommend staying here for the location to Croke park, and it was lovely and clean. If only staying for one nigh

The properly was clean and was in a good location for concerts at Croke park. Was also near by the centre by walking or short taxi. Breakfast was good, and the late checkout is fab. We also called ahead and the property were very accommodating to ensure we could check in early which was an added bonus to our stay. Also a lovely historic decorative vibe but not old fashioned

One thing which would put us off staying is the bed. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Unfortunately we woke up multiple times throughout the night and have woke with sore backs

If you like Old and Quirky.

Excellent position for visiting sights.Short walk to most bus stops /train station....various sights also in walking distance.... Quirkyness of the hotel and staff friendliness..

Mayhem sometimes at breakfast, perhaps just a tweak between upstairs restaurant and downstairs restaurant staff when it comes to catering for disabled guests.

La propreté : la chambre faite chaque jour . Le petit déjeuner continental , très complet . Emplacement central , très proche d’O’Connell street , les Champs Élysées dublinois .

Ein sehr gutes und sauberes Hotel für die Erkundung von Dublin.

Das Familienzimmer war absolut genial mit einer hohen Decke mit Stuckaturen und einem schönen Kronleuchter sowie vier bequemen Betten! Ebenfalls hatte es eine gemütlich Sitzecke. Das Continental Frühstückbuffet war gut und es hatte immer von allem ausreichend. Alles war sehr sauber und wird auch gut gepflegt. Zu Fuss ist das Stadtzentrum in gut 15 min. erreichbar.

Unser Zimmer lag direkt über dem Restaurant im welchen bis 22:00 Uhr irische Musik gespielt wird, welche man gut hört. Das irische Frühstück welches man im Restaurant bekommt war nicht so toll, da sich trotz drei Sevicemitarbeitern niemand für uns verantwortlich fühlte für über 10 min.

Too noisy to sleep

It's a nice hotel and the food was good

It is SO noisy. The worst were the banging doors all night long. If you're a heavy sleeper you'll be fine, but if not you'll never get a decent sleep. I stayed there twice and both nights I barely got 4 hours of sleep. It was unbelievably noisy until about 3am and started up again around 6am. It's also on a pretty dodgy area

I’d stay here again.

It’s an old style hotel but very charming. Location is great and considering it’s Dublin, it’s very good value for money.

Breakfast is a bit basic but OK. Despite my best efforts, I could not warm up the room and the bathroom.

L’esmorzar molt bo. El personal molt agradable , menció especial per Maria , la recepcionista de Motril. Un encant.

Bany sense calefacció i feia fred. La qualitat del restaurant , en especial el fish and chips de bacallà, arrebossat molt dolent i peix massa fet.

I did enjoy my stay as the hotel has some nostalgia and the location is perfect!

location great, dining and music wonderful.

I reported that I could not take a shower because the water was not draining and this was not taken care of so consequently the next shower i took flooded the bathroom. Ugh

Historic comfort

The location was great, very close to river and O'Connell street, but quiet and safe. The decor and preservation of the beautiful Georgian buildings was lovely. Dinner in the basement (sounds weird, but it was a beautiful space with vaulted ceiling) was very good, and the live music was fun (if a bit too loud).

The wifi didn't reach the 4th floor where I was staying.

I liked the friendly staff and the nice building. The service was very good, rooms and restaurants are nice. The hotel is in a good place if you want to discover the city. You can easily walk to all the touristy places.

Pleasant but painful

Curtains let in loads of light so can’t sleep past dawn. Also, there appears not to be a sensor on lift which is very dangerous as it banged my arm quite badly.

Fabulous Hotel!

This is a fabulous hotel! You really feel Dublin here, not like the new, modern hotels where you feel so disconnected from Dublin. Lovely property, maintained very very well, lots of period details and wonderful public rooms to enjoy. Food was great too! Welcoming, personalised service too. Excellent!

One thing that was disappointing was that the shower was only a rain shower, which is not great for women, especially, to get clean. What if I don't want to get my hair wet? There was no shower cap provided. A handheld shower attachment would have been very much appreciated. Also, the drain cover in the shower was loose. I didn't bring it up because I was only there for 2 days and didn't want to change rooms. Otherwise, I loved staying at the Castle Hotel, and will come back again!

Morning staff not especially courteous when I arrived early in morning to store my luggage. No offer to use an available toilet. No bell hop or offer by young staff members to help me manage luggage across stairs.
