Great Pool with view on the Beach. Beach and Ocean great, clean and good to swim in. Stuff friendly & helpful.
The „beach view“ of the Bungalow was not a real beach view. Also we didn‘t really used the private Pool, it was very small. And the bathroom was beautiful but with a lot of mosquitos. Not sure if I would chose an open bathroom again.

A very quiet gem! Lovely hotel with an excellent staff - always trying to find the best solution for you. the hotel has a very quiet beach which is very clean.

Beautiful location
Mosquitos but that's no one's fault!!

The location is great. The staff is helpful. The interior looks authentic. The pool and gardens are beautiful. Also, loved the idea of the no-wall bathroom.
The food is bad. Breakfasts had a very poor choice. And what was there was bellow average for such a hotel. The dishes from the regular menu were ok, but you get the same food of better quality in the nearby cafes. Dinners were a bit better, the fish was fresh, but we had to wait 1h-1,5h for the grill. That was not really a problem. There a lot of great restaurants in Samui :)

Loved this place. Excellent friendly, helpful staff who went above and beyond. Beautiful boutique feel hotel with lots of greenery and gorgeous restaurant overlooking the sea. The pool is long and great for laps. The breakfast was the best we had in two weeks and multiple hotels across Laos and Thailand. The attention to detail is notable eg making the toilet paper into a triangle every time the room was cleaned - love that! Maenam itself we very much enjoyed too. Its got a more local, laid back feel, but was enough to keep us entertained for a few days, few good cheap restaurants nearby and a bar with pool tables just round the corner. The beach in this part is quite steep and water deep quite quickly, so good for swimming but not so much Frisbee etc.
I didn't love the beach as above, but that's not the hotel's fault, and the magnificent pool with sea view more than makes up for it.

Quirky property with a nature theme. Came with an outside shower and bath. Essential oils in the room. Proper mosquito nets. Also had a fabulous restaurant right on the beach. Staff were all very friendly.
There was a bit of construction work going on down near the pool.

Cannot recommend this beautiful hotel enough. The surroundings of the hotel and beachfront are fairly quiet, but the restaurant was amazing so not a problem.

The location was incredible and the rooms beautiful. It was a lot more expensive than we are used to paying around Thailand but the resort was certainly quiet and the view of the sea was stunning. I have to admit we were expecting slightly more comfortable beds in view of the high prices. Instead the comfort level was just okay. We don’t often stay in Samui and certainly not around Songkran, so maybe we can’t really compare. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and super helpful all the time, and that was the main positive. Also there was a lot of beautiful greenery throughout the resort, all adding to the peaceful and natural feeling.
It was already a bad air pollution day, but burning dead leaves on the property (or possibly the temple behind) made it unbearable, particularly in such hot weather. It would be great to speak to the individual(s) doing this and explain it isn’t a great idea, both in terms of health and for the enjoyment of what the resort labels “Nature’s Finest”.

Lovely beach location with seaview infinity pool, restaurant and bar. Nice secluded compound far from the main road and traffic. Rooms are quiet and well designed, offering a nice private area for relaxation. Bed was very comfortable with mosquito net. Bathroom was outdoors with a lovely view of coconut trees.
Room cleaning was rather poor: dirty plates left for a couple of days outside the room, had to ask for mosquito repellent etc to be replenished.

The beach was beautiful.
The tropical villa with private pool was old. It was not clean with last guest’s cotton bud still there when we checked in. The shower amenities were poor quality. The breakfast was poor including charging for an ice coffee? What is that.

I don't know where to begin. Every aspect or our stay was A+ The staff was very friendly, caring and always anticipating our needs. We felt like family, and we miss their smiles. The cottages are well designed and furnished with taste. You have a lot of space, inside and outside. Every appliance works perfectly (AC, lights, power outlets, shower, etc.) , and we loved the outdoor bathroom (didn't use the exterior bath though).
The bed was large and comfortable (I like firm beds) and it was fitted with a mosquito net if needed (we didn't need it).
The property is well maintained and a pleasure to stay in. The pool and beach are a few footsteps aways and offer numerous comfortable deckchairs and parasols. The view is unbeatable… especially early in the morning.
The restaurant was so good, we had trouble eating out and ended up having most our meals here exploring and trying the different thai dishes they offered. Don't be afraid to tell them just what you fancy, they will prepare it for you.
The atmosphere is very quiet, perfect to relax, and regroup after weeks of hiking. The Wi-Fi is good throughout the resort (try switching networks if your bandwidth drops: there were 2 separate SSID when we stayed there).
I can't recommend the Saree Samui strongly enough, we are so greatful for the wonderful stay they offered us.
