Mooi resort, maar het personeel mist de passie om er iets moois van te maken

Mooie zwembaden, nette kamers.

Personeel niet behulpzaam en ze lijken er allemaal geen zin in te hebben. Ze waren soms aardig, maar vooral vaak met zichzelf bezig - zowel bij receptie als restaurant. Elke vraag of verzoek leek teveel en was niet mogelijk - heel anders dan we gewend waren geraakt in de rest van Thailand. Het restaurant viel ook tegen; we wilden op een avond in het hotel blijven eten en toen bleek er alleen buffet te zijn. Dat was erg duur en de kwaliteit was ronduit slecht. Geen wonder dat we de enigen waren die hier gebruik van maakten. Gemiste kans. Het strand stelt niet zoveel voor en ligt veel lager dan het terras en het zwembad; minder handig met kleine kinderen.

Wunderschöne gepflegte Anlage

Tolle große Pools, leckeres Frühstück, guter Service, sehr gepflegt, wunderschöner Privatbeach beim First front bungalow

Weg zur Hauptstraße etwas lang. Achtung vor den scharfen Steinen vor den Bojen! Auch im Pool ein paar scharfe Kanten.

Tolles Hotel in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage

Sehr saubere und gepflegte Anlage. Alles schön im Grünen eingewachsen. Besonderer Dank gilt dem Werner Meinlschmidt und seinem Team, die uns einige Sonderwünsche erfüllt haben.

Leider war der Strandabschnitt direkt am Hotel nicht vorhanden, da das Wasser zu sehr nach oben kam. Dafür waren Liegen oberhalb in der Anlage unter Palmen und in Sand aufgebaut

Leuk hotel aan het strand.

Heerlijk om even te ontspannen na een reisdag. Mooie kamers, lekker bed. Ontbijt hebben we niet gehad omdat we vroeg zijn vertrokken. Wel een pakket mee maar was niet bijzonder.

In het restaurant liep een onsympathieke man. Tevens wordt er met twee maten gemeten mbt kledingvoorschrift in het restaurant.

price and performance

You have to go to the center by bike, the hotel covers this for free. At happy hour, you can buy drinks at a lower price than usual and drink in the room because the bar is empty and the employees look at you to leave. There is no need to spend money on cocktails, as there is no alcohol in them. You are drinking a fruit drink. The room is comfortable, the beach is under renovation, they didn't tell us before booking, this is very annoying. The beach is really bad. There are two pools, clean and nice.

Place with potential, but not so well maintained (AC moldy, stained bedsheets, low water pressure)

Friendly staff and very nice garden surroundings. Good equipped room with various seating options. Beach access.

AC had such a bad (mold) smell, I had to keep it off. Ceiling fan is either turbo mode or off, no fine control possible. Pillows are hard and bedsheets had stains. Water pressure very low - all things that are possible to improve without huge investments.

Nice place to melt into the island

Small but very comfortable territory with a nice green part inside the resort, pool area. Rooms are very big and good but you should take 2bd floor - it is better and more privacy. All team is trying to make your stay comfortable. Paradise is on Maen Nam beach. It is one of the best on island. You may think that there is no private beach - but trust you will not need that. It is grate. Hotel is close to Fisherman Village - a lot of restaurants, shops and promenade.

WiFi some times was not good.

very nice place! location and hotel territory is amazing. friendly staff. very good restaurant inside the hotel! highly recommend! very nice breakfasts! there were always something healthy to give to my toddler !

snakes on the territory and mosquitoes. need treatment of the territory against mosquitoes. also big swarm of wasps was near the swimming pool! - very dangerous. stairs to the seaside need repair! - also dangerous!

Perfect start to our Thailand adventure - well worth a visit but only for a few days.

The location was amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful - room was ok and the pool area next to the beach was excellent. Food was very good. The rooms were cleaned immaculately every day. The beach front is so charming and sells the property.

The property is a little rough around the edges and needs some TLC, the room was adequate, we stayed in a standard room on the group floor, but the shower power was pretty poor but enough to get showered - just, the bed was massive but rock hard - the properly needs more sun beds desperately and needs to liven up the pool and bar area - the food was very good but way expensive compared to its neighbours or a shortish walk along the beach and compared with Thailand in general.

Lovely peaceful surroundings

Large comfortable clean room, comfortable bed, quiet surroundings, nice pools and facilities. Breakfast good, staff friendly and helpful, arranged taxi for me to go to the pier. Delicious restaurant onsite.

-there is actually no beach and it is nearly impossible to acces beach by foot - Rooms smelled moldy and were poorly cleaned - food in the restaurant was at best average. For new years there was a buffet at a steep price of 82 euros which was of poor quality

When we arrived the staff were amazingly friendly. The check in process was easy and quick. We were shown to our rooms and walked through all the amenities. The room was impaculate and the air-conditioning worked wonders.

Nice view. It's close to Fishermans village. You can rent a scooter. Good breakfast.

Our villa was an ordinary apartment that needed renovation. The furniture is old. The room smelled terribly because of the old wardrobe. Wardrobe was full of moths. The front door must not be opened because of mosquitoes. In 5 days I didn't get a clean towel even once - horrible!!! The private beach is terrible. I paid almost 200 euros per night. It's not worth that much. A maximum of 100 euros per night would be fine. I will never go back!!!

Chilled beachfront resort

The generously proportioned accommodation was located in well-maintained beautiful tropical gardens. The choice of two swimming pools was a real luxury. The beachfront breakfasts served by the lovely staff were a real treat and a perfect start to the day. We were in the off-season so it was pretty low key but there was a perfect chilled vibe, which we very much enjoyed. The views were just perfect.

We were a bit disappointed that the advertised bike rental did not exist. As the property is situated out of the main Fishermans Village bikes would be handy for getting about and not having to take expensive taxis.
