About this house rental
Our cozy home, situated on over an acre of land, offers direct access to the Adirondack Bike Path just south of the village. The house is only available on a weekly basis with check-ins and check-outs on Saturdays beginning Saturday, July 6 through Saturday, August 24. It's conveniently located within a mile's walk or ride to Million Dollar Beach. Nearby, you'll find miniature golf, convenience stores, and restaurants, all within walking distance.
This private, remodeled 3/2 home is on a great lot and a private road with limited homes. This house is a fantastic spot for your family vacation with comfortable rooms and a spacious kitchen. Gather around the dining table and spend some quality time playing games we have available to you. You will also have private access to the entire space including the grill and outdoor firepit with authentic Adirondack chairs for making s'mores or stargazing.
Parking is available for three vehicles. The neighborhood is quiet, located at the end of a private road. Only two other homes owned by us are visible from the cabin. The road runs parallel to the Adirondack bike path, and the home is surrounded by dozens of acres of wooded area. Despite being close to main roads, you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. You can hike, bike, or snowmobile right out the front door with access directly to the southern tip of Lake George and Million Dollar Beach.
The home is located between the Village of Lake George and Queensbury, just minutes from public beaches, swimming, hiking, kayaking, water skiing, restaurants, outlet shopping, boutique shopping, and downhill skiing. The bike path provides unique access to the beautiful Lake George Region with easy access to the lake and other connected trails, offering fun and adventure. You'll also find walkability to nearby restaurants, shopping, mini-golf, Magic Forest amusement park, and access to the trolley system.
We recommend getting out on the lake either by taking a dinner or scenic cruise with the Lake George Steamboat company or getting a captained boat with Custom Boat Tours & Rentals. Some of our favorite local attractions include hiking, rail biking with Revolution Rail Company, high ropes and zipline courses at Adirondack Extreme, and Natural Stone Bridge & Caves. If you’re staying a week and have some extra time, we also suggest checking out Ausable Chasm. Some of our favorite places to eat include: The Log Jam, Silo, Bistro LeRoux, and Olde Log Inn. We would love to make specific recommendations if you have any questions or requests.
We do allow one dog per stay, but it must be small to mid-size, have a great temperament, and be completely house-trained. Please disclose if you plan to bring a pet at the time of booking.
We are available via phone or text and can address any needs in person as required. We hope you will join us in Lake George; we know you'll feel right at home in one of favorite Adirondack houses.

Paul, Adrienne and Spencer are very accommodating hosts. It is the kind of environment that can support a relaxing, enjoyable vacation no matter the weather.
You will have as much fun indoors as outdoors.
We are grateful to the host family for their meticulous attention to detail and availability throughout our stay.

Great, rustic well equipped and roommy. House was centrally located for all of our day activities. We felt good about our choice for our five day stay. Arrived in the late evening and had difficulty seeing the house number. A light on the sight would help.

This is an adorable house, decorated in Adirondack style but modern at the same. The location is great especially because of the nearness of the bike trail. Great for walking or biking. Owner was very accommodating and accessible.

Very well done rustic style cabin in the woods. We only used primary bedroom, and the king mattress was comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and laundry, clean decent quality linens, comfortable newer furniture. We loved that the house was tucked away down a long quiet road - but just know that property runs close and parallel to busy road if you're looking for super quiet location. Bike path there. Owner was on an adjacent property and responsive to the couple of questions we had. Super easy check-in and out. Highly recommend!

Well Kept
This was the most accurate VRBO rentals I have seen. The house is exactly as pictured and described. Very well kept. Some minor wear and tear flaws to be expected.

Great weekend in the woods!
Paul and Spencer’s wood cabin was exactly what we needed for a change of pace from our busy lifestyle. The decor fits perfectly and there is plenty of outside seating. The location is just a 5 minute drive to Million Dollar Beach as well as the main village, yet you are tucked away in a very private nook in the woods. Inside the house is very well stocked with essentials. We even had a private chef come to the house and cook for us one night and he found all the equipment he needed. Paul and Spencer were both very helpful and answered all of my questions very quickly. The only warning I would share is that if you are bringing a dog along be mindful of letting them explore outside because there is a lot of wildlife around!

We felt right a home!
We truly felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. The furniture in all the rooms was very nice and the location was perfect for a quick drive into town and about 30-40 minutes to Gore. The hosts were great and would recommend to anyone.

Lake George
We had never been to the area being from Indianapolis. The area was good we saw a lot for being there the short time we were. Things were mostly closed now, but that was ok by us. I think summer would be chaotic. The house was very nice. The only thing is the kitchen sink rubber stoppers need to be heavily cleaned , and you need some dish cloths, a new lighter, and some paper to write on. Small things but would make it just a bit better. Everything else was awesome

October getaway
Every year for the last five we have come to Lake George. This year was the best. This cabin in the woods was the cleanness we have ever found. The beds you could actual sleep on. Everything you need is there. Nice and quiet. Plus if you like the rail trail right out your back door. This will be our next year place to stay

Very nice cabin
We were only there for a few days to attend the Adirondack Nationals but we enjoyed the cabin. It was clean and loved the Adirondack theme. Would love to go back in the winter for snow showing .

Family Vacation
My family, including 2 young children and my parents had a wonderful stay. It was close to all attractions, but tucked away so that you felt like you had a lot of privacy. I would certainly stay again.

Wonderful Place to Stay!
We had a really nice two week stay at Paul's property which could not have been cozier or more comfortable! The place was very clean, well stocked and decorated with comfortable beds and a short drive to the village of Lake George. Paul could not have been friendlier and more accommodating as well. He checked in with us when we arrived and periodically throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to get away during any season of the year! We hope to go back!
