Friendly and helpful staff, good wifi which was a great help allowing me to get on with some work. Good restaurant attached, nothing special but reasonably price and decent food (with one tv showing sport on silent). Clean room and comfortable bed.
Room and hotel in general was a little bit tired and could probably do with a lick of paint soon, but it was clean and still good value

The staff were outstanding. More than one member of staff went above and beyond to help us. The two ladies behind reception desk when we checked in were so friendly and were great at getting us a cot for our baby. There was a lady working the wedding we were attending who actively approached us and offered to turn off the air con when she thought the baby might be cold. Then a man working behind the bar went out of his way to find us chilled bottles of water. All small gestures that together made for a lovely experience. In general, everyone we spoke to couldn’t have been nicer, we were so impressed. Thank you all!
Bathroom in need of some repair work. A couple of cracked tiles and generally shabby. Shower dripping when off and then squealed loudly when switched on. No elevator to upper floor bedrooms.

Quirky single room with bathroom up the stairs (ensuite but just a few steps). Wifi was non-existent in that room, though and my phone struggled to get a good signal as well so that was not ideal. The room itself was very small but perfectly adequate for a one-night stay.
As mentioned above, the wifi signal does really not exist in this part of the hotel.

All of the above, excellent break, value for money. Shame weather not too good but did not keep me in to explore and travel around.
Nothing to dislike, with the exception of the weather,

We ate at the hotel 3 nights out of 4, so were happy with the evening meals. Variety was good and a few vegetarian options.
Some healthier options would be good and salads could be better.
Breakfast was decent but more variety over the 4 days would be nice e.g. same fruit every day. Would have liked a vegetarian option at breakfast and some healthier options, like Greek yoghurt would be nice. Granola was great, though.

Room was great and as i hoped.
Best part of my stay was probably going to the bar/restaurant for some dinner as the staff were brilliant and there was minimal time waiting for anything, drinks, food, bill, etc. Very efficient group of staff there and all the staff i met were friendly and helpful which was nice.
Attempted to have a shave at about 4pm, before i went for some dinner, but the water didn't run hot. Not sure why, but it was piping hot later in the evening.

Breakfast was first class and staff lovely. Room was clean and tidy and very comfortable.
The only criticism would be the hallways could do with an update but apart from that, extremely pleasant stay.
Communal areas could do with a little updating.

Room was comfortable, staff were very welcoming. One of the dishes ordered in restaurant was cajun chicken breast which was really nice would recommend, prices were good at the bar for drinks.
Wasn't impressed with the price i paid for executive room as I felt it could have been a bit bigger, it was really cold at times, lamp shade was broken, raw plugs falling out of wall at curtains and view from the room was looking onto a roof. Breakfast we ordered a full breakfast, all items were not good quality and very greasy, the mains in the restaurant at night one thing ordered was lasagna which really wasn't enjoyable the lasagna had hardly any pasta in it and the pasta that was in it was soggy, the Mince In it didn't taste nice, neither did the cheese on top. No cocktails at bar got handed a price list for drinks asked for a cocktail, to then get told i got handed the wrong price list and that price list was from a couple of years ago, got handed the new price list and no cocktails were available.

Friendly staff, big room, very clean, good shower, location was very handy for the athletics stadium. Breakfast was very good and substantial! Restaurant/bar was good and had a good variety on the menu.
Good base for the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Antonine wall and Rough Castle. Also not far from Linlithgow and Stirling
Wifi was not particularly strong in our room

The staff were friendly. We had dinner in the Treetops lounge which was served quickly and most of all hot. Breakfast was also fresh and hot. Comfortable and cosy bed. Good value for money.
Both the room and bathroom could do with an upgrade as it is jaded although it it's very clean.
