Extremely convenient access to Wells Beach is just one of the many great attributes of this spacious vacation getaway. The home is directly across the street from beautiful Wells beach (Two houses down from Public way #2 leading right to the beach). This relaxing vacation spot is fully furnished and features two private bedrooms with a queen sized bed and full sized bed. A large living area features a queen sized sleep sofa to sleep a total of six in the unit. Large wraparound windows abound in the front living area allowing cool ocean breezes to pass through and the beautiful beach sun to add lots of light. The living area features a large flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player (for vacation family movies). The house is also equipped with WIFI for the kids or business (if you just can't get completely away). A large kitchen area with bonus seating area for family meals is very convenient. The kitchen comes fully equipped with Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Toaster and all the eating and cooking utensils you could ever need. The bathroom was completely renovated and features tile floor and beautiful stand up shower. The outside of the unit has as many amenities as the inside. A large fenced in yard (Rare so close to the beach) provides the kids a place to run/play off that vacation energy and the adults a nice place to sit and relax. A grill is available for summer cookouts as well. A bonus outside shower is also available to wash off the beach sand. There is convenient, no hassle off street parking for two cars. The home is in walking distance of ice cream/lunch/breakfast at Forbes restaurant, shops and the arcade (for the kids). This unit is one of multiple units within the home. The opportunity exists for large/multiple families wishing to vacation together to rent side by side units or upper and lower units. This vacation, choose hassle free location convenience. If you like relaxing in a home that is 60 seconds from the beach, than this is your spot. The front of this unit has lots of windows and partial ocean views. "People Watching" could not be easier. The living room/sun room also overlooks Atlantic Avenue. You can see all the coming and goings of Wells Beach from the comfort of your own sun room right on the main ocean strip. If you don't have kids, you can walk less than 1/2 miles to Billy's Chowder House for dinner and some drinks and then walk home. (All stays contingent on receipt of signed rental agreement.) This year, stay right by the beach!!!

Perfect location, right across from a path right onto the beach. Walking distance to many stores, arcade, ice cream spots, smoothie place, and a great little cafe. Unit was clean, parking easy, and sea breeze comes right in.

This apartment was the perfect fit for my group of 4 adults. It was sooooo clean. Plenty of dishes to cook in. Very easy access to the beach. We will definitely be back someday. Remember to take your own sheets and towels and washcloths. We were a little concerned about no AC but the temperatures stayed in the high 60’s so it actually got kinda chilly by morning. But the breeze was perfect during the day with all the windows open. I HIGHLY Recommend this place. And the owners were absolutely delightful to talk to when we arrived.

Great location, just steps to the beach. Property as deacribed. Washer and dryer were a huge bonus! Owner responds to inquiries promptly. No AC in the unit (we stayed late May so the weather was not too hot). Beds were very uncomfortable.

I will say we only stayed a short time, but we could not park in our unit's parking spot because there is a dumpster and port-a-potty in another unit's spot, so they had to use ours. We could also hear the people above us. Overall, the beds and the spot were lovely. We had such a beautiful time in Maine.

We had an overall great time, location was perfect! Close walk to the beach and shops and arcade! Only not great thing was the smoke detector going off loudly early while we were still sleeping because someone in another unit was cooking bacon, this happened several times during our stay. Obviously we would want to know if there was a fire somewhere in the property but don’t need to know if someone is cooking bacon! 😂

Spotless apartment that is one minute walk from the beach. Queen mattress was pretty lumpy and should probably be replaced. The full mattress was great. Walls are thin and you can sometimes hear those in other apartments. We lucked out because two other renters vacated the property so it was very quiet. Overall, would stay again but would ask who else (what age group) is also renting in the other apartments because we appreciated the quiet.

The location of the property was great! Just steps away from the beach. We hit a really bad heat wave while we were there which was rough. No fault on the rental but with no AC it was tough. Very unusual for the time of year we went. The unit itself was equipped with all of the usual amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. Found out there was a washer/ dryer in the common area to use (didn't know before we left) but it was nice to bring clean clothes home. The vacuum cleaner was not working when we were there, so I don't know how clean the floors really were - but being a beach/summer type rental I wasn't too concerned. Great location close to an arcade, shops, and restaurants all in walking distance. Was our first trip to Wells ME and we loved it!

Cozy 2nd floor apartment. Dave was easy to get a hold of , the shower handle fell off and he had a plumber there for us the next morning. Place was clean, comfortable and pictures are accurate. Kitchen well stocked . Nice fenced yard for little ones. We will stay again. Perfect location. Easy to hop back from beach for lunch or bathroom. We had lots of fun! Looking forward to confirming next year at one of his other units. Only issue we had was no recycling bin. Hated to throw away plastic and cans that we usually recycle at home. ( but we didn’t think to mention this to owner so it may have been resolved- never thought to ask. ) I was surprised at the traffic on Atlantic Ave, some people drive way too fast and minibikes disturbed us late evening and early morn. Be careful of little kids. Beach very family friendly.

We had a wonderful time during our week stay. The apartment was fully furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and/or grilling in the convenient back yard. The clothesline a definite plus as well for our wet things after spending the days at the beach directly across the street. Local shops, good restaurants and an arcade for the kids are all within easy walking distance. The owners are really nice and were very helpful! We certainly recommend this property for your beach dreams!

This house is such a great find! Everything in the home was just as pictured and described. Communication with David when needed was easy and quick. The beach path is so close you can see it from the house and you're a short walk from a few small shops and restaurants by the main Wells Beach access. If you're looking for something lowkey and comfortable right by the beach this is a truly great spot.
