Mucho calor
Sonaba mucho la litera al darse vuelta

Excellent value for money. Really central. Clean basic rooms and a really nice shared area for eating and cooking.

I like their ethos. this is a not for profit community project.
None of the staff spoke english and my spanish is terrible

You can book tours from the hostel and they give you a lot of informations on the tours/town
Dorm was next to the street so it was pretty noisy sometimes

Nice place, however it's beside a bar that blast tunes all night! And it sounded like there was a motorcycle convention beside my bed. The place is nice staff were cool, was clean couldn't sleep though.
The blasting music next door at the bar and the constant honking and loud traffic.

it was cozy
no locks on the dormitory doors, anyone can walk in at any time and has access to your things. they provide tiny lockers that could fit a purse. very basic rustic accommodations, no stone only stove top in kitchen which was good enough. I also used their laundry service which they charge $1 a pound. I had about 10 pieces of clothes washed and a few pairs of underwear and they charged me $7. it was not 7lbs of clothes.

Very good location. Noisy during the day, but restaurants and bars usually stop their entertainment about 22:00h. Nice courtyard and common area.
Room very basic equipped and very tiny bathroom.

Our room was spacious and comfortable and the location of the hostel is good.
The kitchen is not well equipped and very small. For example there is only one knife.

The staff is super friendly, the room is big and the open space is nice
The wall are very thin and the city is very noise, in particular the restaurant near by always plays very loud music at night and once even at 6 in the morning. So loud it seemed that the sound system was inside our room

We really liked the Somototour with the hostel :-)

Communal areas
All the hot water heaters for the showers were broken. The fridge was also broken

good location. everything was adequate and as described, comfy beds.
room layout was a little difficult with the lamp which wasn’t close to the bed as only 1 socket for fan, light and charging phones etc.
4.5
Good location in centre of Esteli. Really comfy area to chill, hammocks, rocking chairs and a big 'L' sofa.
Quiet hostel. Worth noting, if you are a solo traveler looking to meet other travelers, it will be limited in Esteli. We loved that it was so quiet though. Was just two of us in a 9 bed dorm for our entire stay!
For its location in Northern Nicaragua, it could be a little cheaper. But then again, its the best hostel in the area so I can also see why they price as they do. Would be nice for the water to be included in the $10 per night. Instead drunking water is 10 Cordobas per 1.5litres.

Was easy to book trips with TreeHuggers as staff comes by every afternoon and evening. They were super helpful. Central courtyard with tables, kitchen and lots of books was nice. Hot shower.
Private room was very sparse. Bare lightbulb from ceiling. Mirror was damaged and almost unusable. Sink had small leak so that bathroom floor was usually wet. On a busy loud corner and bar behind room was quite loud.

Really great staff, super helpful. Great facilities including kitchen!

Everything. This was easily one of my favorite hostels I've stayed in. I also loved how much they give back to the local community. This is truly a special place.

Very friendly staff, good location, helpful tour advice (and what you can do by yourself), great cigar factory tour, nice little garden, lots of books, good WiFi.
Can't think of anything, the mission and service of this place are great!
