The hotel was warm and the breakfast was very good
The view of the hotel from the car park was very disappointing there were rooms with boxes piled up in the windows, there were bowls of food left on the window sills inside rooms. From the breakfast room we could see a bag of rubbish hanging from a first floor window outside that was there for the 4 days. We were also disappointed that most of the hotel was being used to house refugees that is not my idea of a holiday. We shared the breakfast room with a lot of people in various forms of dress i.e. pyjamas. Had we been made aware of this fact we would not have booked the hotel, Our room had holes in the carpet and the curtains were faded. I do not regard this hotel as being cheap @ 585Euro for the stay. We had stayed there many years ago and enjoyed our stay that's why we choose to return but nothing had been done to maintain that standard it has deteriorated dreadfully maybe the owners feel this standard is ok for refugees but defiantly not for paying guests,

We were down to attend an event at Kilruddery Estate so it was a simple walk over which was great. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed in them. The range of food at breakfast was brilliant. I was really impressed with that.
It was awfully warm in the rooms at night. That’s my only complaint.

The hotel is in an excellent location with direct coach from airport and the local town of Bray.
The rooms were lovely the breakfast was tasty and genourous both Irish full breakfast and continental.
The local town is a really nice place with plenty of food and drinks locations on seafront, Montellos and Daata curry house being a good examples but not the only places search for yourself.
Dublin is easy to get to from Bray station on the Dart a regular service.
I really enjoyed my stay please consider this hotel you will not be disappointed.

We were particularly impressed with the excellent buffet breakfast

Perfect breakfast
too far from center or to train

The room was very spacious with plenty of room for coats/clothes. the bathroom was ok, nice big bath to soak in. there were two big windows and patio doors which led out to space for private parking which made it easy to get our stuff out of and back into the car. Breakfast was buffet style in a separate dining room (room not available in the evening) with lots of choice of hot and cold. The food was very fresh, cooked well and replenished quickly. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
The distance to the sea front and DART seemed a lot further than we'd expected from the web site,. Food choice in the evening was limited and only available in the bar area.

Location was ideal for us
Staff really friendly
Breakfast choice brilliant
Not didn't but suggestions
1 Bed lovely and large but the duvet did not cover both people when in bed, ideally needs to be wider
2 due to air coach and bus stand down around the corner, would be better for people if there were steps/ slope from the back of the hotel through the hedge

Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice.
Good comfortable beds.
Spacious room.

the breakfast was nice but I think a little undercooked still very happy with the hotel as a whole

The staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. We had 5 rooms as we were a small group.
Our room was a good size and spotless.
Breakfast was great, both continental and a full English breakfast and the cook went out of her way to cater for the vegans and did a great job which we really appreciated.
Nothing really, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Very warm in the room

the balcony was a nice feature

clean rooms, nice big bed and big room.
staff were very rude. I arrived and within 1 second of walking to the reception desk I was very rudely asked to pay immediately, no hello, or smile. AMEX not accepted which should be advertised on booking. Breakfast not included but very uncharismatic lady who turned me away. It looked very basic anyway.

Nice quiet location just 5-minute drive from Bray promenade and close to other areas of interest. Great alternative to Dublin as there is a D.A.R.T. station nearby.
Lacking in atmosphere, restaurant closed to accommodate non-paying guests, which should be communicated in advance of booking confirmation.

The staff were lovely; the hotel was very convenient to Bray. Very good breakfasts. Quiet & close to the Wicklow Mountains & Kilruddery House.
We had booked for dinner the night we arrived but the restaurant was closed so it was a bar menu -which was fine but just not what we d expected.

Hotel charged €175 for 1 night. Very Poor value for money.
The hotel is currently full with Ukrainian Refugees
wondering about in groups in their Nightwear while you sit paying
for your drink or food. Not an enjoyable atmosphere for
paying customers.

Breakfast was a great range of continental and cooked food.
A wide range of drinks that were hot and cold.
Staff were helpful.
Tables were clean
The housekeeping was appalling.
The rooms were dirty.
They maybe hoovered in the middle of the rooms, but the edges and skirting boards were thick with dust.
The wardrobe shelves were very dusty and I had to clean them as we had so much wedding stuff for my daughters wedding.
My daughters room, on the morning of her wedding, had a broken shower, so she was running round in a towel trying to wake a family member up, one floor down, to use one of our showers, as hers was held together by duct tape, and had no hot water.
Totally not acceptable!
I spent an hour trying to find a member of staff to sort the problem out, as the front desk wasn’t manned.
I also asked the replacement room to be re cleaned as it was also dirty.
My daughter in law was waiting outside to put my daughters stuff in the new room, and she said the cleaners were in there for less than 10 minutes, and the room hadn’t been touched.
I ended up wiping it down, as we were all supposed to be getting ready.
Not the best start to our stay.
If there were telephones in the room, to connect to front desk etc… then things would have been so much easier.
Also throughout my whole stay I had no wifi connection, no provider connection, nothing, so I couldn’t ring my family, or make arrangements etc… so I had to rely on others.there were about 4 of us who got no connection throughout our stay!
The Champagne that they left for my daughter, was in a bucket of water, as the ice had clearly melted, and by the time they arrived it was too warm to drink, so not very romantic or special for the wedding couple.
