4 š / 3 š ADORABLE cabin in Dadeville located in the Paces Point area (a.k.a. Pleasure Point) on Lake Martin! We're centrally located on the lake - 30 minutes from Auburn and just off HWY 34. This is cabin has incredible 180 degree unobstructed ābig waterā water views, deep year-round water, one of the largest boat docks on the lake, boat ramp / launch, a deck with seating off the family room, a stone patio with a fire pit (firewood included), and more. Sleeps 10. During the summer, the water is 20 feet deep off the end of the dock. Perfect for a family vacation or long weekend getaway!
We did a renovation in 2021 that includes a new bunk room, a new full sized bathroom, and updated paint, counters, all new furniture and lighting. The cabin still sleeps (10) but we have 4 individual bedrooms instead of 3... and 3 full baths!! The bunk room has 3 twin XL beds that will sleep adults (1 is a trundle). Master has a king bed (w/ private bathroom with walk-in shower), other two guest rooms have queen beds. There is also a pullout sofa bed (full) in living room. We make it our goal to keep everything clean and in good shape for our guests, all spaces are professionally cleaned between stays.
Property rental is complete with Keurig coffee maker (starter pack of K-cups included), microwave, dishwasher, brand new washer & dryer, internet, TV w/ YouTube TV and other streaming capabilities, full size gas grill with side burner, fenced in deck / yard and dog door - perfect for dogs or little ones! Weāve got a fully stocked kitchen for any cooks that may be visiting with us. There is a desk that is perfect for anyone that needs to get some work done, you should have no trouble video conferencing, streaming, etc with our high speed wireless internet.
This cabin has it all but the best part is definitely outdoors! Whether itās taking in the expansive view from the deck, swimming, hanging out on the patio, at the fire pit or fishing. Our yard is immaculately kept and we have a Green Monster light for fishing from the pier at night. Some of the best fishing on the lake can be done straight from the dock! There is plenty of space to tie-up boats and water toys.

The listing was completely accurate! Itās as beautiful as the pictures show! We only stayed 4 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. This was our familyās summer vacation and this was the perfect place for us. We had an issue during check in but both the property manager and owner acted quickly going above & beyond to make it right so we could enjoy our vacation! We highly recommend this property & Lake Martin. We will definitely be back!

We rented this property for our family to stay to celebrate our Auburn graduate. From my 76 yo mom to the 12 yo nephews, everyone had a great time and there was plenty of room to space out. From fishing on the boat dock to sitting by the fire pit at night, we had a lovely time. We will absolutely come back! The best part was it is doggy friendly and the pups loved the fenced space just for them!

Beautifully renovated and comfortable home on a quiet portion of Lake Martin! Very clean and well organized living spaces made for a welcoming stay. We enjoyed the fact that pets were welcomed too!

The cabin is adorable and overall we enjoyed our stay. Location is great, home is cute, and we loved the views. The problem was with the complete lack of communication from the property manager. Calls and texts were unanswered over several days. The owners were helpful once involved.
The house gets full sun yet there is no shade on the porch and no window treatments. We were there for 10 days leading up to July 4th and it was so hot my kids burned their feet just walking barefoot on the deck. The deck furniture is metal so we had to buy a tent, rugs and fans in addition to covering all furniture outside to use. Only one of the bedrooms (not the primary bedroom) has a closet.
We didn't have a problem with the steepness of driveway - but it is a workout! Overall we had a great trip but it was more work then I intended!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the home was convenient and the boat dock was great. They also had a lily pad in the water that we were able to use. The home had everything we needed as far as space, kitchen conveniences, bathroom towels, etc. The only challenges we had were the driveway and the boat ramp on the property. We were hoping to launch our 23ā bay boat from the property, but the driveway and boat ramp were too steep. The parking area had a lot of river rocks on it which made it difficult to drive on and maneuver with the boat trailer. Having said that, there is a close public boat ramp that was easy quick to drive to where we were able to launch from. Overall, great home.

This beautiful home on Lake Martin was a delight. The views were incredible with wonderful full moons every night. The kitchen was excellent and was supplied with everything we needed and could have possibly wanted. The beds were very comfortable and we each had our own bathroom which was really nice. The grounds were impeccable and very dog friendly, even though our little dog didn't take up much space. We would definitely recommend to anyone who loves the lake as much as we do. Thank you for such a relaxing vacation.

I must say, the #1 reason I booked this cabin is because it fit our needsā¦but a very close #2 (maybe even #1 1/2) was the response to the ONE negative review this property received.
We had 6 grown adults, one teenager, and DOGS. We never felt like there wasnāt enough space or amenities to meet our needs. We cooked the entire time, the kitchen was larger than we needed, the supplies were not in any shortage. Plenty of wine glasses, plates, and coffee cups to take care of us and the neighbors!!!
The fire pit was delightful and they even provided wood.
The house was clean, welcoming, and more than we hoped for. It was exactly the long weekend our family needed. They made everything easy, from check in to check out.
Someone stated that the owners communication was non-existent. Honestly, they made everything so accessible, I cannot even imagine what you would need to ask! The one question I asked about an early check in was answered immediately and so was the response when I checked in. They really covered ALL bases in the ad, and on arrival.
The space was so great for the dogs who are the true masters after all! Easy gates, doggy door, even bags to clean up after them.
Thank you for sharing your home, we would love for everyone to have the experience we had. This space is too good not to shareā¦the view, the house, the easeā¦.you cannot put a price on coming together in a space that makes relaxing EASY. Happy New Year 2023, cheers!

This house on Lake Martin is absolutely the best VRBO home we have ever stayed in for vacation. My husband and I, along with my elderly mother and other family members stayed for the week of Thanksgiving. From the time we arrived we were in awe of this house. In the past we had a family home on Lake Martin and this home was a perfect substitute. The lake view is incredible and the house has been renovated perfectly. There is a large firepit that we enjoyed on a couple of cold nights and they provide a woodpile for your use! All of the beds were very comfortable according to our family and there is more than enough bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, kitchen cookware, utensils, salt, pepper, sugar, other spices as well as a rack of Keurig coffee pods so that you really don't need to bring much of anything! Even though we had brought some, they even provide doggy poop bags! Our 2 Golden Retrievers enjoyed the fenced in grassy side yard that was open to the side and front deck. the deck was closed off with a sliding gate so they couldn't escape. It was so convenient. The property manager, Summer was immediately accessible by text and the only problem we had was the login to the internet that had changed but she immediately solved the problem. We LOVED this house and highly recommend it and we hope to stay again soon.

The location couldnāt be better and is less than ten minutes by boat to the closest marina. On top of the excellent accommodations the lake did not disappoint. Perfect getaway
Beautiful home with perfect accommodations. This is an amazing get away. Very thoughtful touches throughout the home to make your stay so easy and enjoyable. The views from the back deck were just incredible each morning. Host was very quick to communicate before and during. If you can, bring a boat! Beautiful sunset view just around the corner and itās perfect from the water. Loved the Lilly pad in the water - just the right touch for keeping cool while relaxing outside. Kitchen had everything you need - we cooked every meal. Plenty of towels for the bathroom so youāre not doing laundry 24/7. Note: bring your own beach towels; they dry perfectly in the sun on the back deck. The kids have asked me to book now for the same time next year they absolutely loved this and said itās better than the beach!

Our stay at paces pt on lake martin
Pleasant and comfortable home. Beds comfortable, and view gorgeous. We had a trash situation but it was quickly resolved once I reported the situation. You will get a work out walking back and forth to boat dock but most houses on the lake are elevated. Yard well kept and clean. It had all the items we needed. The weather was unpredictable but thatās something your canāt control. Very dog friendly- fenced area , getting up to the house was hairy due to slope of drive and loose gravel. If u plan to bring a boat, I would suggest u use the public boat landing about 1.5 miles from the house.
Suggestions: provide a vacuum cleaner, I always vacuum prior to checking out,
an area in fenced yard beside steps needs some attending to, a small fur ball get split under the fence
Due to limited access to grocery stores, unless u want to drive 15 miles, except dollar general I suggest u plan what u will need
Restaurants that we ate at had good service and food- most were not open open daily

The boat launch & driveway have a very steep hill at the house. So people with bigger boats will struggle putting the boat in at the house.

Beautiful property. Well maintained yard and the deck and gates to the dog yard are a huge plus along with the doggy door. Nighttime fire pit was amazing. The new updates to the interior donāt miss a beat! Loved the cozy rustic but modern feel! Definitely will be back!

Our family of 5 adults, 2 children & 2 dogs (standard poodles) stayed here over the New Year's holiday weekend & I can't stress enough how GREAT our stay here at this property was! It was just perfect for spending time together with our adult children & 2 grandbabes. Our dogs were also in doggy heaven & we really appreciate your planning for & allowing dogs. The accommodations were top notch. Inside it was nicely decorated, comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. The views from inside were awesome but best of all were the views from the deck, boat dock, & fire pit. Speaking of the fire pit, we absolutely loved our time spent there at night sitting around the fire, talking, sipping on cocktails, and listening to music. It was so peaceful, quiet, & soooo.... relaxing!!! We didn't want to leave & we look forward to renting this place again during the summer. Also if you ever think of selling... let us know! :) Will highly recommend to everyone! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The house is awesome as is the lake view. In my opinion it does not adequately sleep 10 people, 8 maximum. Communication with owners is very difficult to non existent. If it sleeps 10 it would be nice to have more than 4 wine glasses. Upside, the house is great and the lake view canāt be beat

Perfect spot to disconnect to reconnect
This is our second time at this beautiful home. We didn't think it was possible to improve upon our first visit, but the upgrades made by Kathryn & her family are just WONDERFUL. You want for nothing in this home. It is beautifully decorated, has a well-stocked kitchen for cooking and best of all, has breathtaking unobstructed views of the lake. Nothing to do but read, meditate & relax. Plus, of course, we are so grateful our fur babies could join us. They loved the doggie door, the fenced yard, but most of all, they loved the long walks with their humans who couldn't get enough of the gorgeous fall colors! We look forward to returning.
