Charming cottage with a homely feel. Very neat and clean. Sufficiently well stocked with essentials and with all useful appliances.
The staff was ultra responsive and attentive.
The wi-fi was quite erratic so if one is looking to get some work done or make data calls it can be an issue. Mobile signal is also generally poor in the area.

Non existent. Better that your survey actually reflects the place you are asking feedback in, instead of generic questions including those of no relevance.
TV didn't work, had to ring to get explanation of what was wrong. This should have been included in explanation pack.
Heating only on for short periods, even though you can override to some extent.
Parking space much appreciated, but very small.

I liked that it was within walking distance to the village and that it came with parking right outside the property. We had a MG SUV and that car fitted in the car space. The bed was comfortable and it was a very quiet area so we had a good nights sleep. We had dinner at the old new inn and I would recommend that Pub
The apartment was cosy and had everything that you needed if you did want to cook.

Very close to the road.

The location was great and the cottage delightful. We were greeted with many thoughtful touches in the cottage, like chocolates and wine!

very clean, quiet little cottage secure courtyard for my dog
I found it hard to find in the dark, google maps takes you further up the lane to number 2. one of the arm chairs had a broken leg so we couldn’t use it but I had plenty of sitting space anyway

The location was good
Uncomfortable chairs that wets stained. TV remote needs new batteries. The radiator in the double bed bedroom doesn't work. The heating did not work on our arrival so I made contact and the young girl arrived within minutes could not rectify the problem so phoned the plumber who did not answer. She then went away and returned within the hour and sorted the issue.

The cottage was so comfortable, decorated beautifully, had so many amenities and was in a wonderful location.
Everything was perfect.

Location a short walk from the main village.
Property available any time after 3pm.arrived half past 3 property not cleaned towels in bath bedding bundled on beds, but unable to get a response from the property contact number despite numerous calls and texts over our 2 day stay. Also, unable to access Wi fi using password in handbook. contacted Booking com direct which brought a brilliant response from the staff of another company property close by, they also gave us the correct Wi-Fi password, All this was compounded by a poor telephone signal. The rest of the stay was perfect.

The cottage location was perfect, right in town so walking distance to everything local. The decor and rooms were attractive & immaculate. The welcome gift basket and milk in the fridge a nice touch. Contacting Gemma was easy with speedy replies. We would definitely return if we go that way again so can wholeheartedly recommend.

lovely and clean, tastefully decorated and good location.
Extremely hot in the top bedroom, but obviously that wasn’t the owner’s fault. Parking was tight and only suitable for a small car.
4.5
Cosy, comfortable and clean. Very thotful gift basket.
Pub next door was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay.
The latch on the back gate was loose. Not a major inconvenience but the gate swung open on n off.

Location was very convenient. Adjacent restaurant the Mousetrap was very good and the staff was exceptional in helping us with difficulty in obtaining the cab we booked for departure.
Local villages were interesting and quaint.
Wish we had a car which is a necessity to travel to other villages.
4.0
The property itself was extremely clean and comfortable.
Sadly the parking facilities let it down. Would only be able to park a very small car at the property, otherwise would have to park in Bourton village (few mins walk) where there was time restricted parking and in high season would be very difficult to park.

Thoughtfulness of food basket and the coziness of the cottage
Parking was difficult

House was lovely - in an excellent location just a short walk from the village.
Owners quick to fix problems. The boiler broke during our stay but was fixed in under a couple of hours.
Wasn't clear from the booking that breakfast was no longer included. Was in the small print, but easy to miss - bit disappointing it wasn't clearer.
Twin beds were uncomfortable - very soft.
Parking was quite tight. A large car would not have been able to fit without sticking out into the road.
4.5
We loved the location of the cottage because it was in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.
Even though this cottage has 2 bedrooms, the 2nd room is on the 3rd floor and our young kids didnt want to sleep alone up there.

The basket of gifts was a good thought.and also the tea, coffee and milk.the beds were comfy.
A booklet on how the TV ,coffeemachine and microwave worked would have been useful.but we figured them out in the end.it was a great place to stay, and we enjoyed sitting in the evening sun in the garden.we certainly will be coming again.
See previous question. Also there was no LANSDOWNE COTTAGE name as shown in photos only number 1 on the gate

Great little cottage in Bourton with everything needed for a pleasant stay.
Had a little difficulty in finding the cottage as there’s another with a very similar name on the same road and no name plaque on this one.

The property was spotless. Cleaned to a very high standard. Kitchen facilities excellent. Glasses, plates, pots etc all to a high standard. Oven and microwave spotlessly clean. Lounge very cosy. Bathroom modern and light. Great location. 5 min walk to main high street. Lovely welcome pack.
Parking space small. It’s in front of the cottage. We have an estate which stuck out slightly into side road. Might have annoyed residents using this side road.
