We were there for one night rest so it very much served our purpose. Thank you.

It was overall clean and comfortable. Liked that it had a microwave and small fridge! Their free breakfast could be better, then again it’s free. 😑

We had a large room on 2nd floor with Kingsize bed on the inside looking over the huge foyer. What I liked was that we did not have a prob with noise from the enormous large good trains across the road. Most hotels were backing on the train tracks in Gallup. Breakfast was good too.

The rooms have central cooling/heating and the system was stil set to heating which made room very warm. We got a fan on request and with the door open and the fan going for a few hours it was ok. Hotel looked very tired but you could see it was once an amazing place. Not many power points

In the end, we did not stay and our reservation was not honoured.

This hotel should be taken off the booking site. They did not honour the reservation that I created through booking.com. We were then forced to go to another hotel. We are seniors and were very upset by this event. There was no reason why Howard Johnson did not honour our reservation as they indicated to both booking staff and to us personally that they had the rooms available.

Booking.com should not support this institution. They do not honour booking.com reservations!!!

Charged me for the 5 & 4 year old, the swimming pool was closed, the beds were too soft and small and the toilet didn't work properly...

Disappointing

The whole place looked like it was going to be shutdown any day, except the lobby. They must have spent all their money to make that beautiful because the rooms were not. I felt unsafe there. And I appreciate cleaning efforts, but my room had such an overwhelming smell of pinesol I felt sick. The only reason I stayed was that I had been driving all day and it was late so I had no energy left. I would not stay there again. Even the staff member was not friendly. He had earbuds in so he kept asking me and the gentleman before me to repeat ourselves. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I didn’t even get to my room, I went to the front desk and was refused a refund, I left.

garden courtyard was nothing but tall weeds, outside corridor walkways had broken glass, some rooms had doors open with no furniture inside yet there were people in them on sitting or sleeping on the floors. not a safe place.

I'll do one word. Sigh.

Empty beer can behind fridge. Used bar of hotel soap in shower. Was charged for an extra night. Took two weeks for therefund.

Nice hotel in Gallup

Fascinating artwork in the lobby.

They asked for a large deposit but I was using an app for the reservation that didn't mention it.

I liked how the rooms were very nice and lobby was clean and inviting.

That there were no room service cleaning. And they really should spruce up the outside and cut down the vegetation down a bit sho it looks as nice as the rooms.

I mistakenly booked before I realized how far it was and before I realized about the cancellation policy. The rolling room chair was falling apart.

Very eerie and dark, not what we expected.

Was good, even though it was brown bag, it had plenty for any diet.

Pool & hot tub were closed. Our room was supposed to be non smoking, but it definitely was not.

The front desk woman was super kind, and the floors were wood and nice.

There was a bed bug in our bed, the front desk lady was very kind but unfortunately said she couldn’t help. took down our number but after a day we haven’t a heard a thing from the manager. The room was okay besides the bug and one of our towels being dirty that was folded with the clean ones. The AC doesn’t work, and it was 80 in our room at night. Front desk was aware of this though and said it’s in the process of being fixed, but I dunno, was super disappointed from other Wyndham stays, don’t think I would ever stay at this particular location again.

Good value.

Room itself was good. Very large room and clean. This facility has seen better days as it appears some of the large property has been closed off. Cool sculptures in large lobby area. I was on a motorcycle trip and it was fine for a night. Or two.
