Loved Rouen.

Spacious and clean, with an elevator. Very well equipped.

The location was good and bad because activity in the square was quite noisy, late at night and early morning. Really central with lots of restaurants and bars.

Great apartment in a brilliant location to explore Rouen. Vincent very responsive host.

Great location and spacious clean apartment. Well stocked kitchen and easy communication with Vincent.

Very noisy on Saturday night until 6am. Sunday was much quieter. Bed in rear bedroom very old and soft, towels very hard.

Séjour agréable au coeur de la vieille ville de Rouen

Emplacement central idéal. Appartement avec beaucoup de lumière et grande pièce de séjour. Équipement de cuisine très complet, jusqu'au couteau à huîtres bien apprécié. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

Les modes d'emploi de la machine à laver et de la télévision devrait être fournis, même si l'hôte a été disponible pour expliquer le fonctionnement au téléphone

amazing location helps to overlook noise

-location on the main square was amazing - Vincent was very communicative - comfortable beds

- too noisy to keep windows open - too stuffy when windows closed - only 1 fan. needs a 2nd fan

Very comfortable and centrally located

Nicely appointed, comfortable. Easy walk to everything we wanted to see. Great view of churches old and new. Nice host. Across plaza from terrific historical restaurant La Couronne

Stuffy with windows closed and bit noisy with windows open. Not bad in early May, but maybe a problem in summer.

Worth a stay

The apartrment is right in the center, Place du vieux marche, and right around where one would find shops and restaurants and bars. It is just a couple minutes walk to the Notre Dame Cathedral, and other places of interest. The apartment is well equipped, and there is paid parking about a hundred meters away. There's a lift!

Since the apartment is on the square, it gets noisy at night with all the restaurant and bar noises from below. It is bearable if you close the windows, but it does get hot inside with no AC. The listing on Booking.com mentions that for extras, 'make sure to have cash'. It was a bit weird to hand over 50 Euros for cleaning fees when we arrived, because cleaning fees in all the apartments we have stayed in were included in the fees.

A weekend out of Paris.

Perfect location!! Right in the heart of the city! Next to restaurants and Main Street through Rouen. The owner met us there around 3:00 so we could drop off our luggage and we were able to check in at 5:00. We had to use google translate as our French is at the beginner stage. Nice place for small families who enjoy having more room than a typical hotel size room. Living and Dining area; kitchen with everything you need; two bedrooms; shower room and toilet. It was all we needed for a relaxing weekend out of Paris.

With windows open it can be a bit noisy due to people hanging out below the apartment building. With windows closed it was pleasant but got a bit stuffy. That had nothing to do with the apartment itself. Just too many people out in streets at night.
