Room was good, bed most comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our requirements.
The bedroom and bathroom were 'tired' and could do with redecorating. However they were clean and otherwise well maintained. we would have liked 'off street' parking but were unaware that the hotel had this facility until our arrival when there were no spaces free in the garage and the car was parked in the street overnight on a meter.

extremely kind and welcoming owner, very good humoured and shares our admiration for Napoleon!. cosy old style comfortable room
a little bit noisy outside if you like to sleep with an open window. booking.com let us down not making it clear that you need to actually request a parking space as space at the hotel is limited.

In the very centre. Very pleasant receptionist.
The parking is not free as you have to park in a normal underground car park. And had to move the car to get a discount from the hotel as this is from 17.30 till 10.30 next day cost of €6 .
We also had paper cups in room and no milk to have a cup of coffee or tea. Very dark hallway’s as only lite with security sensor.
Rooms need updating.

Good ratio value/money, very nice receptionist, super location, comfy bed, blackout curtains, overall clean, nice bed sheets & towels. So taking into consideration this “category” of hotels (within a budget), we were pleased! Parking is available on the streets around (with extra pay) or in the Hotel de Ville (underground parking) - with a stamp from the hotel there is a price reduction.
This is a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for!

Excellent location. The staff on duty were lovely.
The Hotel is not staffed after 8pm. An entry code is required and is received late so mobile is necessary,

walking distance to the city center with an underground car park nearby
shows its age in every corner and needs a makeover.

it was very quiet
the room was dated, shower faucet was extremely loose and hard to get the diverter to work. the sink had no stopper.

We liked the closeness to the city centre and this hotel could not be better placed. Several reviewers have commented on this being a rather old fashioned property. We would say that the decor and facilities are rather retro but that's not a problem. Think of 1970's furnishings, turquoise bathroom suite, chequered wall papers and you are in a quality hotel that's pleasantly different to new build hotels. The lady on reception was charming and gave us a warm welcome. The bathroom provided lots of extras such as toothbrushes, shaving set and the usual toiletries. The room and bathroom were super clean. Breakfast was very good with a large choice in a stylish breakfast room. Parking in the Hotel de Ville underground carpark was very close. just a 2 minute walk. We would stay here on our next visit. Beds were comfortable with generous pillows and duvets.
Don't be put off by the 2star status. This hotel is far better than motorway chains that usually class themselves as 2 star.

Nice experience! Near by the train station. People who work there are so kind. My friend said she likes this hotel.

We were greeted kindly at reception by a smiling gentleman who gave us our key and directed us to the elevator. He was friendly and advised us in a few English words where to find restaurants.
The hotel was so dark that it seemed creepy. The lobby was very dim. Then, when we got off the elevator, we were in complete darkness. I've never experienced that in a hotel. The card reader for our door was broken, so we were given a key but it was awkward to open. And every time we opened the door...the dark hall.
The beds were comfortable but quite short...

The hotel has a Napoleon Bonaparte style.
It's very nice it has it's own personality.

The room itself was well decorated and clean, there was a lift to the 3rd floor which helped
The breakfast was poor, and the coffee undrinkable, it was from an ern and not fresh , I had only croissant although there were baguettes but could not get them in the toaster

Excellent location and nearby museums, park, abbey, Cathedral, Joan of Arc sites, and shopping areas. A laundromat was close by.
The breakfast had many choices and was tasty. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was quiet. The hotel provided washcloths, which are not generally available in Europe.
The room was cramped and small. We had to request that the heat be turned on. Once turned on, the room was comfortably heated.

We did struggle to find parking but staff tried to help

Clean, comfortable, good location with excellent underground parking for €5 for motorcycles. We did not try the breakfast but it looked nice. Good wifi. Very nice receptionist.
It was a bit dark, worn out and strange faux leather walls.

Loved the charm of this hotel - the room was sizeable with very comfortable beds. Very convenient location and nifty little parking underneath (really only for little cars). This was a last minute booking and we were very happy with it.
Our toilet ran all the time - but we just shut the bathroom door. Otherwise, loved it.

Perfect location, clean room with very comfortable bed, soundproof windows. Very nice and friendly hotel owner, ready to help and accommodate all your needs.
We enjoyed our 2 nights stay, had good rest. The city is wonderful.
