Beautiful courtyard and the location
So noisy, no sound proofing at all
9.0
Centrally located, nice staff who allowed us to store luggage. Nice clean room and good shower. Next to the market where there are many breakfast choices of local food.
The free breakfast too simple.
6.0
excellent location and nice building
the breakfast included in the price of the room was extremely basic and not worth it - but it is served at the open-to-the-public cafe downstairs and you can order additional food for additional money

Great value, small room off public courtyard, spotlessly clean, simple breakfast of coffee and toast.
Noise from water fountain loud at night.

Good location, friendly staff, breakfast included, would recommend if travelling to Izamal.
Nothing

Good AC, great location (very near the main square), clean room.
There was no wifi in the room. Ok for one night, I'm glad we didn't stay longer.

Nice hotel placed in the center of the city.
The wwlcome breakfast is included in the price but it is mininalistic (but you may pay to add what you like).
Great value for money even if it is a simple hotel with few frills.
The structure is good but not high end.
Internet, when we were there, was not at its best. The hotel informed us before going, so they have been pretty fair.

It is in the center of town. The hotel staff was fantastic, the gift shop was quite nice. The hotel was decorated so cute. The value was great. I just wish I knew more about the area. You can do the whole town in a few hours.
The breakfast was coffee and toast. The pay for breakfast was reasonably priced but the staff did not approach our table to order or clear the dishes. The flies were surrounding us because of their poor attendance. The worst part is I told them I was a vegetarian and the waitress acknowledged it and even said their is nothing with meat its extra. My breakfast had ham underneath the sauce.

Nice hotel, located on the main square. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel is more like museum with all details and even you can see ruins of Mayan pyramid in the yard.
If you are coming by car, you can park in the front of hotel.
Wifi was low in our room on 1st floor.

If I wanted to be picky, I could talk about old fashioned plumbing fixtures, or spotty Wi-Fi because of the very thick, ancient walls, but that would be silly. This place is gorgeous, kept immaculately clean, with a warm and friendly staff. The open-aired breakfast cafe literally abuts a 1600 y.o. pyramid. Our balcony overlooks the town plaza. Delicious food to be had 100 feet away. Heaven.

Location was the best. close to both bus stations, the market, the Convent, etc.
Has character in lovely colonial.
Cute little cafe.
Quiet. Hot water. Good wifi and A/C.

Good location, very friendly staff, clean and comfortable.

The location was perfect, the inside of the hotel is very pretty. Decent wifi
The staff was not as nice and helpful as the staff you usually get in a hotel. The towels were broken, they put only like 1/4 of a toilet paper and nothing else.
It gets very noisy around 6am. No hot water.
9.0
Silent, cozy place just in the centre, the restaurant serves good coffee and food.
Staff didn't speak English, not a problem for us, but might be useful for somebody else. Although they're very nice 😊

Everything has been exquisite. The room, staff, Delores in particular even spoke to my sister on FaceTime. She is beyond delightful. The space is like a museum and very personable. Artifacts and family photos make for an incredible warmth. It’s like being home for me. It’s incredibly close to both bus stations and is one of the premiere buildings after the convent. It’s also convenient to everything in town.
The internet could have been a little stronger. I had to sometimes leave my room for a strong connection especially when I wanted to send images of the hotel and other photos from previous days.

Amazing value for your money located right in the plaza. Everything is close by. Hotel is built up against some ruins and it's pretty cool to see in the courtyard. There's a cafe that rents out the space in the back so food/beverage are available conveniently.
Internet works well but only in the rooms that are closer to the garden.
Soundproofing could be better, but I wake up early anyway so not really a big issue for me.

Clean and well located.
Breakfast was poor.
