The house is stunning and in a fantastic location to walk into Salamanca Markets, Hobart restaurants and local pub and eateries. Lisa was amazing and sending texts to give all the information needed and checking to see if all was okay. We all agreed when we come back to Hobart, Amberley will be where we will stay. Thank you Lisa for your wonderful hospitality and for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

We recently had the most wonderful weekend away in this amazing house, family of 3 adult couples. Great off street, safe parking. Excellent communication with Lisa the owner. Easy check in process, bonus to be able to check-in early. Thank you for the bottle of red wine. Beautifully renovated home in a fantastic location. Easy walking for us to Battery point, Salamanca and shops at Sandy Bay. Quiet at night. Beds and linen so comfortable and rooms cosy with excellent heating provided. Spacious living areas and kitchen, pod coffee machine excellent. Bathrooms beautiful, showers hot, bonus to have 3 toilets. We would highly recommend Amberley house for your stay in Hobart and we all hope to return again one day. Thanks Lisa for our stay, Jennifer

Great location, close to shops, bars and restaurants. A good walk to Salamanca and Hobart waterfront ( we were all over 50 and easily managed it - even Nanny Goat Steps!)

Seamless Checkin process - communication was great with detailed instructions on how to access the property. On first arrival it was great to see there was secure off street parking suitable for two vehicles which is a rarity in this part of Hobart. The house is absolutely immaculate with beautiful linen and a washing machine with powder provided. Plenty of living spaces and 4 generous bedrooms and a smaller loft style single bedroom. Great for hosting a family. This property is a great place to base yourself particularly if you enjoy walking as a mode of transport. Easy walk to Sandy bay cafes, the casino and our favourite Battery Point and Salamanca. Will definitely stay again when next in Hobart.

This property was everything that we had hoped for. The check in process with the owner was great and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of space with large bedroom really good bathrooms and a bright modern kitchen. The wine books and pictures were a bonus. The property is close to shops and restaurants and the owners recommendations were appreciated. This property was for us a relaxing home away from home.

From the time we arrived we were blown away by this property! The owners have made us feel so welcomed with all the amenities for us to enjoy that felt like a home away from home. The location is perfect as the platform to go anywhere or just stay locally with fantastic restaurants, Bars and grocery all within walking distance from the house. We had a beautiful stay and felt so welcomed from Lisa. The house is in the best location in a prime area of Hobart, we could walk to all cafes, restaurants and shops and were so close to Hobart cbd. The home had such character and perfectly accomodated out group of ladies. Thanks so much for a beautiful stay and the lovely touch of the wine on arrival.

Seven family members down from Sydney for a nephew’s wedding had the best time together in this beautiful home. Lots of room to both get together, with additional family and friends popping by, and to get away from each other when we needed some quiet time. Great kitchen for feeding a crowd. Everything so comfortable and luxurious. We all wanted to stay much longer and have headed home glowing from a great time.

There is absolutely nothing to fault about this home. Very close to Hobart CBD. Supermarkets/bottle shop, restaurants a stone throw away. Home itself is a Home away from home. Comfortable beds and living spaces. Well equipped kitchen and amenities. Our family of 6 loved this home. If we travel back to Hobart, we will be sure to stay again

Three female friends celebrating a significant (mature age ) birthday together - Excellent facilities, comfortable & welcoming - Only a stones throw to the water front plus an easy few minutes walk to shops & restaurants in the local neighbourhood. Amberley was a great house for our group to stay at, ample space and in a really convenient location. The property did not disappoint, and was as described. Coffee shops and supermarkets 100 metres away, Salamanca only a short walk away (but prepare for a steep path if going through the laneway!)

Amberley is the perfect place to stay in Hobart for a group of friends (like us) or a family. Communication, tips and instructions from Lisa were excellent. The house itself is a dream - so comfortable, clean, well-appointed, and has everything you'll need. It's also brilliantly located. We walked to the market, wharf and restaurants easily, and the supermarket, coffee shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Highly recommend.

We had the most fabulous stay at Amberely house. Perfect accommodation for 5 friends in Hobart for Masters Swimming Nationals. House was gorgeous with lovely shared spaces. Close to delicious local restaurants. Lovely surrounds with the water one way and Mt Wellington the other.

House is really lovely and in a great location. Plenty of food options within a 5 minute walk, plus Coles, Woolies etc and we were able to walk into Hobart. All the rooms were large so even with 7 adults, didn’t feel squashed in together. Very pretty location and roses were still in bloom.

We only had a long weekend in Hobart and chose to eat in on one night so we could enjoy the beautiful house. The property is lovely and in a great location near delicious restaurants and cafes. It was a girls weekend with 7 of us and 3 had a room to themselves due to the 5 bedrooms. 3 toilets was a bonus and the kitchen was so clean and very well appointed. Would absolutely recommend anyone staying here. Lisa was so amazing with communication, recommendations to restaurants etc and happy to chat. Thanks so much Lisa

Amberley was the perfect place for our group of 9 (3 families). Plenty of space, comfortable beds and every amenity you could want. Fantastic to have two bathrooms plus an extra separate toilet. The location is brilliant, with great restaurants and a supermarket on the doorstep in one direction, and the water at the other end of the street. The house really has a lovely and relaxing feel. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This place is a gem, a beautiful house full of character, a host with excellent communication, generous gift of a local wine to enjoy, very clean, well furnished, and well appointed house with all the facilities including a great Nespresso coffee machine. We had secure off street parking for our two cars and were able to walk to the CBD and Salamanca with ease. There are also a great bunch of local shops, supermarkets, and restaurants at the end of the street. An excellent stay.
