Rivers Edge Lodge is a luxurious and meticulously crafted mountain style home completed in 2010 and has direct frontage on the pristine Watauga River. This beautiful mountain retreat is located in the exclusive 350 acre gated community of Twin Rivers and is centrally located to all that the High Country has to offer. If your idea of paradise is relaxing beside a tranquil river and unwinding to the calming and restorative sights and sounds of nature, welcome to Rivers Edge Lodge.

Unwind inside this impressive and well appointed home, offering 4 bedrooms and 3 ½ baths and sleeping accommodations for 9. Outside the home, activities abound. Take a bike ride or hike through the community’s miles of managed trails along the Watauga and Boone Fork Rivers that connect to the Julian Price Park trail system or visit the many attractions in Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock only minutes away from the home.

Entering the home you will appreciate the elegant and rustic quality with hickory floors, vaulted beamed ceilings, hand crafted wooden trim, 10’ ceilings throughout the main floor and featuring a grand wood burning stone fireplace. The remarkable view of the river is apparent directly ahead. The gourmet in your family will enjoy the kitchen, well equipped with granite counters, island with gas stove and stainless steel appliances. Also on this floor is the beautiful dining room which will seat 6-8.

The master bedroom is an en suite and furnished with a king bed, large screen HDTV and an amazing view of the river. Imagine yourself waking in the morning to the sound of the river and that view! Two other well furnished bedrooms are also located on the first floor and both contain very comfortable memory foam mattresses on Queen beds and large screen HDTV’s. The children will enjoy their own upstairs retreat, furnished with a full bath, full/twin bunk beds, large screen HDTV and an extensive collection of DVDs to keep them entertained. There is also a large laundry room with washer and dryer directly off of the main living area and 2 car garage, where you can kick off your flip flops, river shoes or snow boots. Consider River’s Edge, your “home away from home”, but stay connected with the available high speed wireless internet service.

At the end of your day, take a break by the river at the fire pit and roast marshmallows or relax in the 6 person hot tub positioned right outside the back door with a fantastic view of the river. Or just sit and relax on the large, fully furnished back deck while the cook grills on the outdoor grill.

This home is beautiful, and perfect location to Blowing Rock, Boone or Valle Crucis. Kitchen is equipped for eating in which is a great feature if you like to cook for your family. Also, the upstairs room had toys for our grandson to play with, we brought a few things, but he loved the fire trucks. The fire pit had plenty of seating for us all and was a win for relaxing in the evenings. The river is pristine, and a beautiful view, but if you are looking to fish you can't do on the property. They are plenty of local places to go not far from the home. We would definitely stay here again.

We vacationed for 10 days and had a wonderful time. Wonderful front and backyard for kids to play. Well stocked kitchen and baths. Fireplace and fire pit were well stocked with wood. Great screened in porch too. Highly recommend.

Great even for 2 people. My wife doesn’t like going up high sketchy stuff, so this was perfect. Pulling up some chairs by the water and watching the trout swim around was very relaxing. House is extremely convenient to Blowing Rock, Boone, Sugar, and Banner Elk.

My family, which consisted of my wife and 4 daughters, enjoyed our stay. My wife like that the house is in a gated community so she felt really safe. My kids enjoyed walking along the stream in the backyard where we saw fish and anglers catching fish. The house was very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay again.

We spent a week at this property for the second year in a row. It is absolutely beautiful. The lot is great, and our favorite thing to do is sit by the fire pit at night right by the river. The location is perfect and close to everything. Highly recommend.

Rivers edge is just as VRBO described. The lodge is very comfortable, cozy, beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located, yet tucked away. The host was very gracious, providing everything you need and very accommodating. We will definitely be visiting again. Wonderful stay!

Highly recommend. Stayed at this lovely property with my family and another family. Wonderful home, very clean, had enough to keep 3 teenagers occupied and off their devices. Location is peaceful and beautiful. Owners very communicative. We will be back and have already recommended this house to another group of families.

Everything was just as expected based on other reviews. House was very clean and the neighborhood trails offered lots of enjoyment to kids of a wide range (3 to 13). Location was great to enjoy gem mining, Alpine Coaster, Blue Ridge Parkway, and hiking. Overall great experience!

Our family had the most AMAZING stay during the week of Thanksgiving! This is our 6th visit to Rivers Edge. We keep returning because the property is always clean & the house is so inviting. Our favorite part of the house is the wood burning fireplace. There is nothing like having a fire & watching a movie in the evenings! We saw multiple deer outback in the woods this year. The owner is fabulous to work with. The house is in close proximity to downtown Boone, Banner Elk & Blowing Rock. The master bedroom & bath are spectacular! Lots of room for your family.

3 night stay for our ski trip. Great area and close to just about everything. We had a issue come up (our end) and the communication was superb. Cabin is truly beautiful and in a nice quiet area. Fireplace was used nightly with an ample supply of wood. Grilled steaks on the Weber grill. Gas was out, but of course there was extra in the garage. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage. Everything needed was provided during our stay. Wish you could fish the river out back. Community owners are the only ones allowed to fish. Still fun to watch the trout in the stream and use the opportunity to educated my son on their behaviors. Thank you, Chris for sharing your place.

Chris is so involved making sure everything was perfect for our family! Hot tub was amazing! Fire each night by the river was amazing too. The house is stocked with every appliance you might need! Looking forward to another trip here in February! Thanks for a wonderful stay❤️

We had a wonderful visit at Rivers Edge with two young families. The house is accommodating and well equipped. The upstairs room is especially fun for children with bunk beds and some toys. The outdoor space is perfect for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails with beautiful views and the sound of the river in the background. We didn’t get to use the fire pit (due to weather) but it seemed perfect for nighttime gathering and s’mores. The owner, Chris, was friendly and responsive. We hope to return to this fantastic property!

The house is just great and is made even better by it's setting by the river/trout stream. Sitting by the river in the morning was really special with the sounds of the river flowing and wild animals. My wife saw beaver and deer in the early morning. This is just a very nice place.
