The location was okay.I felt comfortable in the area.
The room was quite small. Some of the cupboards, and the TV were high up. There was no full length mirror. There was a kettle and tea and coffee, but no milk provided.
3.4
Close to the bus stops
Plenty of space
Bathroom was nice!
Low ceiling in the bedroom

Location was reasonably good
The door from the street was an ugly metal security door, giving the impression this is not a safe area. The bathroom was not en-suite, but down a hallway with steps that would be dangerous in the dark in the middle of the light. There was uncertainty about whether other people would use the hallway, so it did not feel secure or private. The external door handled of the room we were staying fell off on the first night. I shoved it back on to be able to get in and out of the room, but it would not stay on. We seriously considered leaving and just going home.

Clean, comfy bed. Fridge and microwave very handy, plenty of tea, coffee, soap and shampoo. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Television didn't work but it wasn't a problem.
3.4
It was clean and the staff were helpful with questions and making sure they were available for check in.
I was a female on my own and felt scared being there alone. The walk there was through an area which smelt of pee and drugs, and the property was literally next to it. Due to it being more of an apartment, the staff were not there full time, which made me feel a bit nervous staying at night. The lock on the door looked very flimsy and the person staying in room next door was playing very loud music and kept slamming doors. I decided not to stay the night and booked elsewhere where I felt safer. It was expensive for what it was.

The location was good for where we needed to be. It was nice to have an air con unit because it was very hot in London!
So the check in process was in theory easy because you use a lock box. But the lead up to it was very stressful because we had delays on our journey to London which made us 2 hours later.
The manager was messaging me over WhatsApp telling me how if we were to arrive after 5pm we would have a late fee of £30 which I feel is pretty extortionate when they can do a lockbox check in?! So there wasn’t even anyone waiting for us to arrive. I was made to call when I arrived to let them know I wasn’t over 5pm.. thankfully I did make it in time!
I’ve travelled all over the world and never had a check in deadline so early because let’s face it when you are travelling you are going to have delays & for this reason I won’t be returning.

Nothing
Nothing about it was nice run by people who put profit above anything else

The staff’s response time and hospitality

The room and bathroom was very clean. Towels and shower soap gels etc provided.
The room was quite small.

Overall the accommodation was fine. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, nice quality bedding and towels, very comfortable beds and pillows. A mirror in the main room would have been an asset and help make the room feel larger. My friend who arrived before me asked for some items and help with opening the window and the staff member was very helpful. There was an ac unit in the room which was good.
It was a lot smaller than expected, it was very cramped. The supposed kitchen was a shelf, on it were 2 mugs, 2 glasses, couple of spoons, no fridge. The bathroom cabinet was very high and over a sink so not easy to see into it if you are 5ft or less. Not that great that we were awoken in the early hours of the second morning, Sunday, either by the office phone or an alarm playing Claire Du Lune. On investigation the office door was open, no one there.

it was clean
stairway down to room.Licks on doors either not working or difficult. No ventilation other than leaving an outside door open .Hallway stairway light kept coming on during the night illuminated the bedroom through large gap in base of door .

Fairly quiet location. Peaceful at night.
Lack of cutlery. No smoke/fire alarms in building.

Good location, close to buses and Kings Cross station. Lots of shop around. The studio flat was ideal for a couple. I was quite clean but the dishes had to be cleaned again before use.
I had booked a twin bedroom. I arrive settled and 10mn later the receptionist knocked on the door and changed our room. I think they booked twice the same bedroom, so I had to move in a hurry to go to an underground bedroom (through a steep staircase) which had a small double bed and not twin bed (i was traveling with a male frienď). Due to strikes in France I was delayed and arrived at 7pm instead of 5pm so I ended up to pay as well £30 of fee (I have a proof of payment with my bank as I insisted to pay by card and not in cash but he couldn't produce a receit for it). I called booking.com to try to negotiate but the person on the phone didn't understand well english and didn't know the difference between a double and a twin room. As the room was already payed (more than £600) and not refundable, I felt trapped to accept that bedroom and pay as well the £30 fee.

Great value for money, fantastic location and Esther the host was so welcoming. Would stay again.
3.4
location suitable for our visit
basic cold at times. extra bedclothes would be useful
3.4
central. to the point. great value
area is a bit rough around the edges
3.4
not big but you can find everything you want. and the staff is very friendly
3.4
very clean and very responsive host
Extremely basic and almost uncomfortable. It was advertised and booked as having parking available - this was a park at your own risk situation rather than a true customer car park service.
I would not want to stay here for more than one night in its current state.

The studio flat was very well located and as holiday weekend there was free parking.
There are no frills but for the price had everything we needed for the night.
The room was very hot

Area is well known by myself
WiFi stopped working out of nowhere and the room I had was super small. I asked for double le and had 2 twins which made the room seem so tiny. Only book if your sleeping and not trying to have space. Window view is awful too.
3.4
The room I was hosted this time was a basement-like with little light
First floor rooms are much more comfortable

Fantastic location, friendly staff, we really really enjoyed our stay!
There isn't an oven if you want to cook or a toaster but they do have hobs and a microwave

Good value and location

It was clean and had everything we needed. The property was as expected. We weren’t paying 5 star prices, so weren’t expecting 5 star luxury.
Nothing

The host was extremely friendly and helpful.
The room was a little dated and the TV did not have any signal.
