Very new and clean. But no air conditioning in the rooms which made it extremely difficult on such a hot day either our 10 week old baby. The staff were very considerate but there was little they could do
No air conditioning

lovely location, nice views of the lakeside
no air conditioning in the rooms, windows didn’t open far enough, fan provided which blew hot air around. service in the bar/restaurant extremely poor.

Staff were excellent. A big thanks to George for looking after us much appreciated

rooms were very comfortable clean and nicely furnished. Location was very pleasant with lovely outside seating on the terrace by the lake
The weather was warm and the room was quite hot. Air conditioning would have been welcome. Drinks and food was very expensive

All good

Good bar and location was fine
Shame pool wasn’t available

Accommodation was good as was the location and facilities, we also had a good breakfast.
There were metal chairs out by the lake which were very uncomfortable to sit on.

Room, facilities and location.
Very impersonal from booking in to breakfast service. Staff dreadful in responding to power cut during breakfast. NO announcement. I had to ask a member of staff why the toaster wasn't working. He looked at me as though I was stupid when he replied it was because of the power cut. No one came to take our order or offer alternatives until after the power was back on. I approached the female bar staff and asked for drinks of tea - she then went on to serve my drinks to the neighbouring table. Thankfully, the power came back on after 20 minutes or else I would have had yoghurt for breakfast. Lots of staff around, but no one with their eye on the ball.

The Staff in the Restaurant was very friendly and payed attention.
The very unpersonal check in on a machine, which i would expect in a cheap Budget hotel. The staff was not really friendly and helpful here

The gym and spa facilities were fantastic and the food was superb 👌 a little pricey but you get what you pay for and for the quality of food and friendly staff it was very satisfactory

We went to the VA club, which was a short taxi ride from this hotel. The hotel itself was nice, it had a spa but we didn't use that. The room was very comfortable and clean and it had a lovely shower. Breakfast was very nice. I'd stay again.

It was fabulous. Staff, facilities, location, rooms, spa all amazing
It was faultless

The room was nice, comfortable bed.
The restaurant was freezing cold. No heating on so I sat in my coat. Lots of people had complained but the staff didn’t seem to know how to work the heating. Made it uncomfortable as we couldn’t even sit in the bar, afterwards for a drink as it was cold.

comfortable rooms with goodies.
food in the restaurant, not a good choice.

We did not have access to the spa, there was a mouse in the corridor when we reported it to reception she just gave an apology and said it must have come in from outside! For the amount of money we paid to stay there it was appalling! So we basically paid for room only bro a package that was classified as a spa break!
The customer service was nonchalant and not helpful.

Great housekeeping. Excellent customer service. Attention to detail. Cleanliness and general ambience were of an excellent standard. All staff are outstanding in acknowledging you as a guest without getting in your face. The housekeeping manager was really friendly. The food was lovely.
You could relocate the coffee machine to separate it from fruit juice dispensers to avoid queues. You could keep an eye on stocking up on the herbal teas in the breakfast bar.

Nice Buffet breakfast but food needs to be kept hotter....Very welcoming & polite staff. Hotel was very clean and glad to say our room was nice & warm.
I booked room in August and was not aware that Spa would be closed for refurbishment or the Life Spa would be closed over New Year period. No Gym, Steam & Sauna, extremely disappointing & ruined our stay to be honest as we wanted a Spa break ......Had we have known we would never have booked this hotel

Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable. Food was excellent
Room was quite hot, maybe A/C instead of a fan

The Breakfast was yummy although the apple juice seemed watered down. I also really loved my room, it was beautifully made up and the bed was quite comfy.
I could not work out how to turn on the radiator with several attempts. There should be instructions on how to fo this. There was also a small spiders web in the top left corner of the window which should have been cleared. At the spa the tie for my robe was torn.
4.1
clean, rooms comfy, hotel lovely, spa wonderful.
restaurant menu could have more option and expensive for what it was and don’t like the fact they put a service charge on, although it was optional 12.5% charge I think is steep. I like to tip but not when it is added for me.
