Enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to speak to. Hotel itself was good but the rooms could probably do with a bit of modernization. They were clean big and comfortable good sized bathroom. Ye I would stay there again the next time I visit Pitlochry.

Very clean, lovely breakfast, good location & a room to the rear of the property made for a very peaceful stay. Spacious room & comfortable bed!
A little dated, in some of the public areas, shared toilets in public areas, a no go thanks… bedroom a little dated too but believe some are refurbed, but again spotless… drinks a bit expensive..

Room was very clean and comfortable and has been recently upgraded - room was spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 3 to be comfortable and not too close.
The live music playing band was great and got the crowd going all ages,
Some of the staff were a little rude most of them were very polite and nice but the morning receptionist when we were checking out was coughing and spluttering and not very polite and the young bar man at night time was not very helpful and smashed a cup which almost hut my child and never so much as acknowledged the fact.

The room was nice. And clean. Staff made time to converse. And give information. There is now transport to and from the theatre. Breakfast was nice. Service at dinner friendly and efficient.
There was mess under the table at dinner and breakfast. Bit off putting. Also on the chair I went to sit on at breakfast. This was cleaned up quickly.

Everything went very well from the minute we arrived. The staff to whom we spoke were extremely pleasant and so helpful. We also appreciated the welcoming drink! A lovely touch. Food in the restaurant was excellent with a great choice. In fact we, at our age could have managed with a smaller portion. Many of the other older guests to whom we spoke felt the same. Please note this is not a complaint! We enjoyed all we had . all the dining room staff were so nice, helpful and pleasant. A credit to the hotel absolutely.
The only observation we have was that the bathing facilities in our room were a bit antiquated and if she had been on her own my wife would not have been able to step into the bath or to have showered unaided. She is by no means disabled but unsteady for such an exercise. A step in shower would have been a bonus as would a floor level one. Room 305 was our room

Cooked Breakfast was very good and cooked to order, although coffee machine failed and contingency only a flask of one type of coffee. No honey. Pan au chocolat and Croissants should be warmed.
Parking charges £5 a night even if you didn’t get to park both nights.
Room a little tired.

We liked the care and comfort of the hotel and for that reason we will be back soon, did not want to leave!
We have no hesitation in saying that in all honesty it was such a restful break away, absolutely no dislikes!

We had booked a triple room - it was huge with a double and two single beds. Really loved that it had a bathroom at one end and a shower room at the other end. The food in the Coach House bar was really good (especially the salmon). Every member of staff was helpful and friendly.
Nothing.

Room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

The location was excellant. The breakfast was good apart from if you wished something different like salmon for breakfast you were given an extra cost which was very poor as you ate already paying for breakfast and everything should be included even if its not to your taste.
Being charged extra for breakfast, paying extra to park in the hotel car park. Staff have no clue when asking a question outwith the area they work in. There was a fire alarm went off during our stay when I went to ask staff if we should make our way outside he said I think so. Then I spoke to another couple in the next room who said they were told to go back to their room. I couldn't believe there was no one knew if there was a real fire or mot as they were putting people's life at risk. As this hotel has had a fire mot that long ago I would have thought that their fire procedures would be so much better. Very poor show as I'm concerned and will never return to this hotel due to the uncertainty and risk of life.

Very limited choice at buffet breakfast

Our room was a good size with lovely views of the garden. Bed was very comfy and we slept well on the four nights we were there. Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel was great. The weather was sunny and having the seating area in the garden was a bonus.
Only down side was the parking facilities, car park small for the amount of rooms.

I overslept due to traveling from America. I was looking forward to a Scottish breakfast but missed it! The location was great, very easy to find. Staff were great.
I could have used a softer pillow but due to tiredness it was not an issue.
