On a biking trip. Ideal with very good basic facilities.

Great location, good value, clean and safe.
More bathrooms, more breakfast fixings.

We booked a room with two single beds and a private bathroom. The beds were comfy, and the room was very clean. We got exactly what we wanted for a great value. Everything we wanted was within walking distance, and the staff was fabulous. We also bought an a la carte breakfast in the morning that was VERY reasonable.
There was some peeling paint in the bathroom, but it didn't bother us.

Very expensive for what is provided. The bed sheets were ripped. The breakfast was very poor quality, with blatent lies on the menu ('homemade scones' presented inside the plastic wrapped packaging. Pay slightly more for an actual restful experience.

Staff, location and price were very good if you consider how popular is Pitlochry , but next time I would pay a bit more in order to have a decent sleep.
Unfortunately, the bed was very old and squeaky, plus there was a dead insect on the wall, which nobody seemed to notice for sometime.

It had parking spaces for customers and despite it being a backpacking hostel, there place is very quiet.
Rooms were too small for 4 ppl.

Great location in centre of town, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was perfectly adequate for an overnight stay and free coffee / tea in the main lounge was an unexpected bonus. We had secure storage for our bikes.
I have no complaints whatsoever

Great location on the main street in Pitlochry. Easy to visit the area on foot. Car park at the back of the hostel. Very friendly staff and great facilities. Loved the pool table.
Nothing not to like.

The hotel was great both in location & clean room. The staff is very helpful. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meal.
The only matter to take care of is you have to carry your luggage upstairs as there is no lift. If you bring heavy luggage, think twice :)))

All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. They were very happy to store our bags both before check in and and after check out. Also provided useful local knowledge on walks in the area. Complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the lounge was a bonus.
The bed was rather uncomfortable, but it is a backpackers not a hotel.

Location is great ans personal is very friendly.
We could have a room for 2.
Noise coming from adjacent rooms can be heard but it was completely quiet from 10pm to 8 am.

Ambiance, friendliness, relaxed atmosphere
The fact the WiFi didn't extend to the upstairs bedrooms

Great location with excellent facilities. The kitchen was stocked with lots of pans, crockery etc and friendly staff.
Everything was good.

Lovely friendly vibe and felt very welcome even though we only stayed one night while passing through. Great cooking facilities and very well organised in the communal kitchen with everything you need to cook a decent meal. Breakfast to suit all budgets and itemised so you could have some items or all at a very good price. Genius! Met the owners who were friendly and had a good sense of humour. Definitely a great place to stay.

Room was spacious, clean, and quiet if a bit shabby. Great shower. The bed was fine for a relatively lightweight person. The location - on the main street about two minutes walk from the station - was good.
A basic breakfast buffet was laid out in the main common room but the system could have been signposted more clearly - you had to go across the hall to the kitchen to get your cutlery and crockery.

A lovely, welcoming hostel which had comfortable beds. I especially valued the warmth of the room, as did my son. Lovely vibe in the hostel, really charming, we loved it!

first time staying at property. would happily return. staff and fellow travellers friendly great location.

Staff lovely, everything you need and can't get any more central than on the high street!
Only thing I would say that's negative is the top bunk bed I was in didn't have a barrier, and I fell out, which could have been alot worse. I do think a barrier on the top bunks should be there, might be ok if you are used to sleeping in a top bunk. But unfortunately I am not. But everything else was spot on! Staff lovely to. Will be back...on the bottom bunk though.

It was much better than I thought .comfortable and the black out curtains where everything .
Would have liked a front door entry key.

The facilities were very comprehensive for anything you'd need for a short trip. Showers and kitchen and lounge were all well maintained and comfortable.
The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic.
The beds didn't have privacy curtains, supports for the top bunk to stop you rolling out and were rather solid.
