Es un lugar acogedor, con todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones en pareja o en familia. Como estar en casa. Muy cerca de todos los balnearios. Amplia. Portones eléctricos. Mucha tranquilidad...
Todo perfecto, nada de que quejarse.

King bed
Large living space with kitchen
Two bathrooms
It was our first night in Costa Rica so we weren’t used to all the insects as the windows had been left open.
4.5
Quiet leafy location about 10 km from La Fortuna. We had the ground floor of a two-storey house: spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a large living/dining/kitchen, a large bedroom, two en suite bathrooms, and access to a communal laundry. It also had an enclosed courtyard garden with parking, featuring a covered terrace and multiple trees. Friendly and helpful host.
Nothing.

Owner was great, made arrangements after I needed to delay pur arrival after a minor injury. And obtained a mokka pot for my stay, something to make the vacation just a little better.

Alvaro's place was great! I really enjoyed staying here for a few days and taking advantage of the activities around the volcano. The location was great, easy to get to the highway but far enough away that you don't hear it. The unit itself was clean and spacious and all of the amenities were great, bed, shower, outdoor patio with seating, etc. Alvaro himself was an extremely kind and helpful man who gave us tips about where to go and was available for any questions or help. Very nice accommodations, would go again in a heartbeat.
Really nothing, no suggestions to improve as it was a great day.

Secluded outdoor space, location, very nice host.
Kitchen was not stocked with many pans or utensils, no spices or extras. Poor storage.

The property is located pretty well.
~4 km from the La Fortuna center.
~1 km from thermal parks.
~10 kms from Arenal national park.
To top it all, Mr Alvaro is super hospitable.
There’s nothing to dislike about the property.
3.5
The interior space is elegant and spacious with high ceilings and grand windows.
It is very close to a road. The road does not get much traffic, but what comes by is loud. The showers are beautiful, but the shower heads have issues and the water pressure has issues too. There is no place to go for walks except for the roads which are questionable.

Lots of room for 2 of us. Good supplies in kitchen (plates, pans, etc.) Huge master shower. Only a few minutes from town but driving at night on narrow roads with pedestrians and bikes out is challenging. Host was very helpful when small cleaning issue was seen after check-in. Nice patio for morning coffee or any other time.
Was not told that to key get keys I would need to park along narrow street and ring bell to be let into the gated parking area. AC was off and it seemed musty at first (humid area all around volcano) but setting the AC on 'dry' setting for a few hours made it great the rest of the time.

The apartment was beautiful and our host was extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very roomy and comfortable. Definitely recommend.
The only problem that we had was finding the place because both Google maps and Waze sent us to a totally different place. Make sure that you contact the host by phone before you start looking for the place so that he can guide you to the exact location.

Beautiful house. 1 floor of the house, not tge whole one
The strong smell of mold everywhere. You will not be able to breathe there. No fan, neither AC will help you. Widely opened windows hardly helps...but 150 metres from the jungles and park of death-dangerous frogs will make you close the windows. And you will enjoy mold whole night long, poisoning your lungs.

Very spacious apartment with a nice Terrace and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our dinners outside on the Terrace.
It's outside of la fortuna, so a rental car is a must.

mr Alvaro was hospitable and helped us with all the arrangements.

Alvaro was a perfect host. I wasn't sure where to go to get to the property, but he had earlier contacted me through Booking.com and provided his phone number. I called him when I got into La Fortuna, and he met me in his car and had me follow him. Throughout our stay, he was accessible and responsive to all queries and provided us with some extraordinary recommendations.
I don't think anything could have been better. It was exceedingly lovely and comfortable.

It was the perfect location with access East to La Fortuna and West to Mistico, hot springs and zip lining. Plus the private garage parking and free laundry made it feel very safe, like a home away from home. the lanai/porch outside was relaxing and the whole property is beautiful.
It wasn’t as fully equipped as we would have liked it to be, so we had to improvise and do a lot of shopping for basics. no sugar, salt and pepper, only one Tupperware container, and only one each of the cookware. But the host was amazingly helpful and brought stuff when we asked. Alvaro is wonderful.

Stayed May 22-28, 2022.
It was our first time in Costa Rica and we could not have been more happy with our stay at Villas Las Palmas. From the location to the lighting, large windows and high ceilings, waking up to birds in the morning and going to sleep with rain pouring outside, and most of all, your generous hospitality. We look forward to returning, to recommending your place to friends, and to visiting your new villas when they are completed! Thank you, Alvaro, Pura Vida!

Great location - very close to everything but also felt fairly secluded and out of busiest part of Fortuna. Looks just like the pictures! Very pretty! extremely helpful hosts with very quick response times. We were very pleased with our choice! Felt like a home away from home.

Location was very convenient to all activities. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and well supplied. As a solo female traveller, I felt exceptionally safe. Alvaro, the owner was a warm and accommodating host.
I would definitely return in the future!
The only thing at all that I can say is that you can hear the upstairs guests every step. Otherwise, my stay was perfection.

The owner is one of the kindest people I have met. He sincerely cares & has a heart of gold!

The apartment is huge and the owner very friendly. Althought it is located at a street, you won't have trafic during the night and no problem with noise. It got all you need, TV, big bed and bathroom, fully supplied kitchen, balcony, parkingspace, etc. It's also located well in the Arenal area, not far to La Fortuna, but also close to the park entry. We loved it.

Comfortable and spacious apartment. Good parking.

The space was a wonderful size, the location was excellent. Lovely outdoor sitting area.
The kitchen was I’ll equipped for cooking and there was no extra pillows or blankets.
4.8
The villa is really big, very comfortable with two bathrooms, a balcony, a nice garden, a huge double bed, a kitchen with a dining room and a living room as well. The place is quiet you can listen to the birds in the morning, it's amazing.
Alvaro our host is very nice and helpful, he answers all the questions, gives recommendations to trips, restaurants and so on. We recommend the villa very much!
The kitchen could be a little bit more equipped.
