Schönes Hotel im Herzen von Göteborg

Zentrales und sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Es ist alles in Fussnähe zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich.

Aufgrund des Alters des Gebäudes ist das Zimmer relativ hellhöhrig.

Fantastic, welcoming and wonderful.

Everything was fantastic at the Hotel Royal. The receptionist were all wonderful and willing to help at all times. The breakfast was spot on, and the afternoon coffee/cake, a wonderful touch. And the room was clean and had all the facilities I needed. I couldn't fault anything really, perfect location and fantastic value for money.

A nice and charming place to stay in Gothenburg

The hotel is located close to the central train station so easy to get to and from Gothenburg. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful to our needs. The room was clean and well presented though a bit cramped for the two of us with our suitcases though fine for the single night stay. It has a lot of charm and quirkiness to it from the decor to the fake birds and butterflies scattered around the floors.

The room was a little small for two people, and the breakfast selection was adequate, but not extensive or overly delicious. Very limited on hot foods.

L'hôtel est parfaitement central, tout près de la gare. C'est un établissement un peu à l'ancienne, avec de vraies clefs pour ouvrir les chambres et du personnel toujours disponible à la réception pour les fournir. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet est pantagruélique et devrait satisfaire tous les goûts.

Stay here! You won't regret it.

What a great place to stay in Goteborg! Kind and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast, and an excellent location — handy to everything — and a character building with loads of personality. They packed a breakfast bag for me on the two days that I had a very early start. That's genuine service! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. Can't actually imagine staying elsewhere.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Royal, and I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

We had superb experience at hotel royal. Their breakfast was definitely one of the best I've ever experienced. It's located right in the center of Gothenburg and easy to access everything. The room was also nice. Not a huge room but had everything I needed and really comfortable.

I appreciated the warm and enthusiastic staff at a beautiful hotel.

Breakfast was lovely with wonderful food. The location is quite close (5 to 10 minutes) from the main train station. The room was very nice with a very ample and well provided bathroom. The hotel was originally founded in 1852 and the retro feel is maintained throughout. They even use the heavy brass keys of yesteryear. I found the Royal a good choice all arouind.

Wonderful stay in old Göteborg!

It is an elegant old hotel, and has been updated and kept up very nicely. Front desk staff were fantastic - and their recommendations were perfect. Breakfast was great.

There was a ledge at the entry to our room that I tripped on and fell. A warning would have been nice, especially after a long day of traveling.

This experience has style.

Service was exceptional. The room felt like a five star hotel. The atmosphere made you feel important, a level of service difficult to find in a hotel in this day and age. The decor was original and unique.

It's a wonderfully welcoming hotel.

A wonderfully comfortable hotel with lovely friendly staff. So clean, and the rooms smell fresh.... a small detail that often is missing in many hotels. The furnishings suit the period of the hotel, which by today's style may appear unfashionable, but it adds to the comfortable, warm, welcoming atmosphere . Excellent breakfast with a wide range of fresh produce, loved the waffles! Tea, coffee and cake are available for everyone all day. I definitely would recommend this hotel.
