Tolle Lage

Wie immer: Lage, Frühstück, wirklich nettes Personal.

Keine Steckdose im Bad (schade, weil Föhn zur Verfügung gestellt wurde aber so im Flur geföhnt werden musste). Das 3er-Zimmer hatte nur eine Sitzgelegenheit und wirkte insgesamt kleiner als das normale Zweierzimmer, gilt auch für das Badezimmer (zu klein für ein Dreierzimmer).

Very poor breakfast bag with only one sandwich and yoghurt with sereals and an apple. We were very dissappointed. Noisy wedding outside.

Schöne Lage trotz Großstadt

Tolle Lage am kleinen Hafen, trotz Großstadt mediterranes Feeling. Kostenlose Fähre vom Hotel in die City. Alternativ offizielle Fähre (fährt öfter und länger) 15 min schöner Fußweg am Wasser. EG schönes Ambiente, gutes Frühstück. Wird gerade verkauft und hat keine Alkohol Lizenz.

Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Fenster ließ sich schwer öffnen, warm, keine Klimaanlage. Laut am Hafen, Möwen oder Gabelstapler ab 7 Uhr morgens.

Fint läge vid hamninloppet. Gott om parkeringsplatser. Trevlig promenadväg längs vattnet.

Det fanns inga cyklar att hyra.

The view was a bit industrial - harbour facilities. The breakfast was a chaotic happening. We had a superior room while we experienced it more like standard.

Good hotel with excellent options to visit the city.

Good room with perfect beds for us. Enough room and very nice breakfast. On top of it all, free parking and a boat into the city.

The only thing I can think of would be the small bathroom. But it was no problem to us.

Good for what we needed for a short stay - location not as close or as easy to commute to the city

Breakfast buffet was good if a little disorganized at peak time - no plates , no tables etc . Room was good, as expected, location very far out of the city and it was helpful to have a linked ferry but the times were very late ( only started at 12pm) to make the most of the day

The evening and breakfast buffets were very delicious. The room was also a really good size with a decent bathroom. Very clean and the staff were super nice!

The location is quite bad - takes a 20 min tram and a 20 min walk to get there with a very confusing route. We had the evening buffet as well which was good but expensive for what you get, especially as it's such a trek to get elsewhere for food. I also wish they had more vegetarian options for the evening buffet.

Cozy hotel for a comfortable short stay on a roadtrip

Very cosy hotel, nice location out of the city right on the waterfront. Nice staff. Good breakfast and afternoon buffet. Excellent room with three comfortable bedrooms and a seating area. We only stayed one night, but we would love to come back.

The room was dirty especially the toilet. We rang immediately the reception and they send us a cleaner to fix the situation. We expected that a manager was coming to check/talk to us but sending just the cleaner we felt sorry for her and felt that was not enough.

Decide what you want and then decide where you’ll stay

It was my first time in Gothenburg and I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for. The hotel decided for me: ended up a lot more there than I was expecting. It’s really nice, the staff is impeccable and everything went smoothly. The facilities are great and you really should enjoy the stay. The thing is (keep reading about the “what I didn’t like”:

.. you really have to decide before you go: if it’s a central spot you’re looking for, this isn’t the place to be (40 minutes, considering tram + walk, from Gothenburg centre); if you’re looking for silence, rest and even a place that is about halfway from Gothenburg and Sotholmen, this is a very good hotel. This is not a “I don’t like”: it’s a mere warning for your expectations.
