The property was so charming and well kept. Beautiful area to eat breakfast and enjoy the backyard. The breakfast was excellent.
The parking was difficult to find and hard to get to. You could hear everyone but I would expect that with an older house.

We like the look of the place, lovely views, great apartment, excellent breakfast.
The price for the evening restaurant didn’t reflect the food, although the location, views and staff were excellently

The view is amazing, lovely pool and breakfast. The cabin was nice, clean and spacious. Would definitely come back and stay longer.

Beautiful location and nice view. The cottages are large and well equipped. The only downside during our stay was a large construction word next to our house and was very noisy part of time. The hotel is of course not to blame but we would like to be informed before arrival so we could plan not to hang out at the pool before 6PM. We would go again. Great place

Property located on a vineyard, quiet and with amazing views. We had a little house where everything seemed new. Very clean and spacious. Nice swimming pool. There were optional massages and yoga, though we didn't try. Restaurant on the site, with a beautiful ocean view and a good selection of wines. In general, very relaxing atmosphere. Just a note that the path from pool/rooms to the restaurant and reception area is uphill, so it is better to be in shape if you want to walk around the property.
The address on booking.com is not correct. We only found out when we arrived (Google Maps shows the correct address), so until changed, it would be good to let visitors know the correct address before arrival. The restaurant is a bit overpriced for the quality of food.

The setting in a vineyard is wonderful.
In the rooms at the bottom end of the vineyard, blackbirds sing from 6-7 a.m. You'll hear canaries all day.
The breakfast buffet is a bit chaotic. There is good bread, nice croissants and fresh fruit, but the staff struggle to keep fruit in the buffet.

Very nice cottage, great surroundings and restaurant, Great view
the room was a bit cold and impossible to set a fire in the chimney
3.5 / 5.0
lovely location - very quiet, near to the sea and some great walks
It was very basic for the money paid. There was a perpetuating smell of drains and smears of dirt on the mirror and kitchen appliances. There was no heating so it got chilly at night - you had to pay extra for logs for the room if you wanted it warm.

Beautiful view, building, area, plants, grapes. Nice rooms and interiors.
The swimming pool could be heated, the water was very cold. It would be amazing then!

picturesque setting.
Two swimming pools; 1 near the main house was not clean & the other was down a very steep hill. Our bedroom was 109, it was poorly set out; lacked a central mirror & had only 1 accessible plug socket. The bed was uncomfortable & the foam pillows were too stiff & solid & the WiFi access was awful. The evening meals were prepared elsewhere & reheated in the restaurant kitchen so nothing tasted fresh.

very lovely property.Cottage 208 was beautiful and so comfortable.
please install towel bars which would allow towels to dry out ~ it can be damp at this elevation. It would also be very helpful to travelers to install hooks to hang packs/bags, etc.

It is newly renovated or constructed, the chalet is very nice and provides all the comfort. We had the bottom middle house with lovely private terrace in front. Above us was the pool but we didn’t try it (it was bit too cold for us). The stuff is very friendly and the setting is just perfect. There’s a small mini-market across the street at the top entrance where you get all necessary things or food. We didn’t have a car but getting around wasn’t a problem (taxi station in Calheta or a hitch hike worked out just fine)
It was simply impossible to set the right temperature of water in the shower. It was either very cold or very hot. Also having a bed on upper level with only one small window beside the bed is making it very hard to cool or refresh the air up there which gave us rather difficult time sleep well. Maybe a big fan installed in ceiling would help.

We stayed in one of the cottages which was spacious and extremely peaceful. The bed was large and wonderfully comfortable. There was a real fire which was lovely in the evenings. No TV. Good WiFi.
Great breakfast and we enjoyed our evening meals in the relaxed restaurant. An excellent wine list!

Beautiful setting, lovely cottage, super comfy, great pool, amazing view

Nice to have individual cottages - well designed. Lovely location amid vineyards with great views.
Dinner simple but nice, home-cooked food.
There was an issue with the parking due to unexpected works by the local council but they could have emailed us to tell us. Alternative parking was limited and hard to access. Better to have been told to park in the village above.
The beds were fine but the pillows were lumpy.

The restaurant (excellent !)
The breakfast
Nice rooms
The pools
A bit of insects … but it the countryside : the hotel is clearly not responsible for it

One of the most charming and cozy place I have stayed ever. The breakfast was also very nice, especially with the sea view. Absolutly recommended
We had some bugs in the room, which is not surprised in a vineyard. Some net on the window could be a good solution.
