Lovely twin room. Very clean and comfy.
Beds were so so comfortable. Staff were really friendly. Food was delicious - breakfast was wonderful. Thank you

Isolated location but excellent facilities and only a short drive in any direction other Cotswold locations. Friendly staff, good food and clean rooms. A vast variety of teas is a nice touch.
Shower water pressure was a bit disappointing, I think people with long hair may struggle to have a "quick" shower.
Also try to get there during daylight, it's a lovely place and you miss so much at night.

Its new and very clean - the annexe next to the pub is wonderful, brilliant room, lots of space and so quiet at night. Really nicely decorated. We had a lovely warm welcome the food was super. Its a great place to walk from and explore as some wonderful route nearby.
There was no water in the room and the room was big but the bed was a small double (but very comfy !) Just would have been a 10/10 if the bed was a little bigger.

Good quality of food
Fit out of the room could be improved to reflect the asking price of the room. Bathroom finishes are very basic but functional and clean.

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay! 16th century inn in an idyllic setting. Rooms had just been redecorated and were lovely and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were delicious! Fun pub area where we got to meet and talk with local residents (and their dogs!) as well as the owners. Easy parking right at the inn.
Not a thing that I didn't like.

The crown inn was everything I expected from a country pub, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food was great , rooms were comfortable,
Shower pressure was poor but plenty of hot water so enjoyed alternative of bath.
Stated I had a vegan diet on booking but a few things at breakfast were not available (no alternative spread for toast and no choice on hot breakfast menu ) but otherwise well catered for

They kindly arranged early check in so that we could get ready for a funeral. Room was large and comfortable in a separate building from the pub, so quiet. Dinner was in the pub - rustic and cosy. The food was delicious. The locals were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Easy to travel to Cirencester from The Crown by car.
Everything was fine, thanks.

Liked the atmosphere & friendly staff
Dogs in eating areas.
Dogs obstructing the walkways. Staff need to ask the owners to move them safely out the way so they are not in the way of patrons. An elderly patron made 2 attempts to get past the dog, both times patron was distressed by animal
Menu was not true English style meals. We were looking for good home cooked meals instead of yuppies meals. Don't forget about your true English roots.

Breakfast good. Fantastic location.
Staff so very friendly and helpful all the time.
We needed to make 2 journeys by taxi and it was so difficult finding a company to take us.
The hotel gave us a long list of them and we rang at least 17. We only managed to get one through a Google search and then only by a recommendation from another company. It was very stressful and could have ruined our plans for our walk completely.
