Most staff we met were helpful despite the language barrier.
Breakfast was poor and the garden where it was served had the potential to be beautiful but was very unkept and poorly maintained . This property has the potential to be a wonderful property , a little gem on the Amalfi coast with some entusiasm,, redecorating, ground maintenance and TLC from the owners .

location and great view of the sea. we love family run businesses like this. they gave us breakfast and let us leave bags after checkout so we could wander the town
some maintenance needed (as with much of Italy). 2 of 3 bulbs were out in our bathroom and not many outlets for charging overnight. all stuff you can live with.

we got an upgrade, nice room with 2 balconies and beautiful view. big parking area. very friendly and helpful owner.
hotel completely empty, no other customers. the smell of smoke everywhere, even on our floor. the owner loves his cigarettes which is fine, unfortunately there is smoke as soon as you enter. So therefore we got out in the morning as soon as possible, we could not sit down for breakfast i with the smell of cigarettes.

the view is breathless no doubt, the room needs some refurbishment but.... the view of the gulf it is breathless indeed ..indeed. The staff is fantastic, friendly and with the charm of the people of the area. Breakfast was very good.
the room was clean, but in many details it needs some refurbishment works, floor, shower.

Location couldn’t be better a quick walk to beach or to downtown that’s full of restaurants. Hotel staff is absolutely wonderful and makes you immediately feel like you are at home.

The location and the view was amazing and could have not been better! Mountains + the beach!
Since Vietri is kind of a small town, then everything is in a walking distance! (ca 5min walk to the beach) etc. You can access the town in a quicker way through the emergency exit from the back - we were not offered it, but we saw that one of the reviews pointed that out! :)
Our stay was OK, but could have been made better!
When we booked the hotel room, we made sure that we have air conditioned room, but when we arrived we were told that air conditioning is actually extra fee, but since it was so hot, they will automatically run the air conditioning every 15min... which did not happen all of the times :) But the ceiling fan helped to circulate the air a bit.
The refrigerator in the room only works when the card is in the socket. We asked for a second card, which we were provided, just to keep the refrigerator in, for our foods, but it was taken away after room service and no information about that was provided.
The room definitely needs a renovation - tiles were broken, the shower head was full of scale and therefore it was not pleasant to shower.

Great family driven hotel close to both the beach and the restaurant area. We didnt have breakfast included, but the owner still offered us coplementary breakfast the first day. They had delicious croissant and cappuccino. He also asked us if we would like breakfast the other days as well. We decided to skip the breakfast so we could get to the beach earlier. The rooms had good size and great view. The best thing was the hospitality of the owner, his family members and other staff. They where very welcoming and helpt us if there was anything we needed. Greate way to take care of guests! When we left they gave us a gift, a coffecup made out of the ceramic the town was knowned for. We really apreciated this! Such small actions made up for less perfect things.
The aircondition didnt work in the daytime, it was suppose to work in the nighttime but didnt start working before the last night. Luckely the room had a fan in the ceiling, so we managed. Since it was very hot when we where there it would have been extra nice to cool down when we where in the room. Also the room had a small minibar/fridge, but this one didnt really work either. It would have been nice to have the opportunity to cool down some water or soda in the room. We didnt bother to ask the staff about the fridge, because it wasent that important, but we asked about the aircondition and they tried to fix it.

The Hotel has a potential because of the picturesque location. The bathroom is clean. Also, I like the most is that it is near the Marina or seaside wherein it is accessible to get the ferry boat to the port by foot maybe 200 yards. Ferry boat has timetable to reach other town like Salerno, Vietri, Cetara, Amalfi, Minori, Maiori, Positano and also to get a ferry boat going to Capri.
The hotel is situated at the hill which is picturesque when you are the hotel site, it has a character and potential but it needs to improve in terms of their furniture and design. The airconditioning and fan not enough to cool down the room. I have addressed it somehow. Thanks to my portable fan I survived the heat. Information is very important especially locating the place around but communication barrier is an issue but they are willing to help somehow. Picturesque up on the hill, however the road going up is slightly steep and no bus stop nearby as it is situated in the hill where no bus can go up there. There maybe a bus around nearby but due to communication barrier they could only tell me that the bus and train station is in the town centre. So I have to find it out myself. So arriving at the airport at night around 10pm is no good because train is not reliable instead get the taxi to drop you off the hotel and it cost 130euro. Also travelling early in the morning of weekend is not a good thing too because the train does not operate well and it does take you 2 hours to get to the airport the only friend you have is a taxi and that will cost you another 130 euro. I find it not valuable for money to book it at the time especially travelling alone and safety is my priority.

Breakfast was very tasty and in real Italian style. The location was great. Only a few minutes to the sea. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice wiew, and a beautiful garden. The staff was very serviceminded.. Short walk to the beach and the town, and a big parking area for cars.
I think the beds are a little to hard, but we still slept well

Only stayed for one night so it was a flying visit. The man on the desk was very helpful.
Had to ask for the AC to be turned on as no control in room.

Breakfast was good! No AC was a bummer, we should not have to pay extra for something needed, especially in the Summer.
Private transportation provided by the hotel would be nice because of how the Hotel is located on top of a steep hill.

Beautiful view and friendly staff.
Not many guests were at the hotel, but the basic needs weren't available such as broken blow dryer, WiFi was not accessible, only one half roll of toilet and no extra roll in room; plus smell of smoke or wet dog?

The location is perfect. There is guest parking in Vietri a mere 600 meters from the public and pay beaches - you don't have to beat the crowds to park! A short walk down the hill and you are there. The hotel recommended the water taxi and it was absolutely fantastic. The boat captain immediately whisked us away from the extremely overcrowded beach to a very secluded beach with about 15 people on it. Round trip it was 10 euro and you can still until 6 pm (1800) or leave when you want! There is a city center exit/entrance available. We used that to go directly to the city (up on the hill) to eat at Evu, it was a fantastic recommendation by the hotel - they even booked it for us. Best seafood I have had in Italy!
This hotel was very quiet and everything was as shown on the booking website.
My wife left an important item in the room and the hotel immediately responded that they would hold it until we drive back to Vietri soon!
That we had to leave because I have to work ion Monday! :( Seriously - there was nothing to dislike.
