Fabulous cottages and very helpful owners

A clean, quiet and comfortable base for exploring lovely Antrim.

Very clean, good size, 3 toilets/bathrooms (2 en-suite), well-equipped kitchen, warm, plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, very quiet (even with 2 neighbouring cottages occupied, easy parking, access to local amenities and places to visit. Tranquil and beautiful location.

Minor niggles: floor finish wonky in places, back view not the best, some kids’ outside play sets might need retiring, some saucepan handles get too hot.

Beautiful cottage up in the hills

Cottage is beautiful (middle cottage) it has open plan downstairs one bedroom with unsuite another bedroom downstairs and another bathroom /shower bath. Upstairs has a large bedroom with toilet. This cottage has everything . Dishwasher, washing machine. Iron/iron board utenils pots pans to cook with. Kettle and toaster .cottage has a lovely size garden aswell. Fresh soft towels were also supplied. Basics to bring as shop can be wee bit more exspensive. Dishwashing tablets , washing powder extra toilet roll(but u do get some supplied ) there is near by shops in cushendall but its a drive to get there. Host was perfect came when we first arrive make sure we were ok

The only down side was the 10 am check out time.

Lovely cottage in an idilic location

Wonderful cottage a short distance outside Cushendall. Would be prefect for a family as it is well equipped for kids. Would stay again.

Exceptional

We had an exceptional weedend! When We arrived the house was warm, clean and tidy. Kids love to play in the garden. Thank you very much for everything. We will definitely come again!!!

Enjoyable festive stay

The location of the cottage is superb and picturesque. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed for a nice few days away over the festive period.

Attention to cleaning and bedding. It would have been nice to have some Christmas decorations for the stay.

Group of travelling friends

Cosy, warm, comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. Very close to Cushendall Town and beach and ideal location for travelling to the key attractions along the Causeway Coastal routes. Would also be ideal for a family holiday.

Lovely Cottage.

It was clean & comfortable & well equipped. It has lovely views & is not far out of the town. The owner was very friendly & helpful.

Lovely location, short drive to all amenities , perfect location to explore the beautiful Antrim coastal region. Host went out of his way to make us welcome, would like to return one day.

Superb

The cottage was very comfortable and equipped and furnished to a high standard. Much more spacious than expected and a decent private outside area. The cottage and outside area were extremely clean and well kept.

There was a bit of confusion at check in, we hadn't been given the code to allow us to access the property. It was resolved quickly and we received a sincere apology from the owner. The beds were a bit small.

Top Class Experience

From start to finish, this is a superb find ! Everything is top quality and they have thought of every detail. The cottages are spacious and even with 6 or 8 people, there is lots of room. The little gardens that open into each other are great and full of kids toys. We had 2 cottages and the kids had the best time going between 2 via the back garden. I can’t wait to return !

Great cottage for peaceful break

Very peaceful location, cottage was in very well furnished and very comfortable, unfortunately due to family emergency we had to leave after one night...but we hope to get back.

Exceptional

The cottages are very well equipped Everything we needed was there - it was clean and comfortable with great outdoor space - inside was well furnished for entertaining or just to crash and chill. It’s situated in a rural location a short drive from cushendall but a good base for visiting all the attractions the Glens of Antrim have to offer. It was lovely being wakened by the baying of sheep. We went as a family group and had all three cottages - the children loved being able to run around freely in a safe environment and often calling to visit the sheep - a great family break

Great place to stay

Great stay at Tavaghnahoney!.. really lovely accommodation, very cosy and warm and everything that we needed, with great views too... very lucky to get a couple of nights here before lockdown & the owners have great Covid protocols in place, so we felt very safe.

This properties has everything you need from a hover to hand steriliser and board games for the kids to play with. The perfect place to go if you just need to get away and have some quiet time with the family.
