A Nice Stay

Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was clean and it's a central location. I liked the little balcony that the room provided, and the hotel was quiet overall (note: the entire city is under a flight path so you will occasionally hear airplanes taking off or landing, but you will hear that throughout the whole city, not just at this hotel). The staff were also helpful when we were asking about tips in terms of things to do in the city.

When we dropped off our bags before check-in, I didn't love how we how to drop them in a room that didn't feel very secure. When we went to pick them up, they had actually told us the door was unlocked and we could go in there to pick out our bags (the room isn't behind the front desk). Also, when we asked if by chance our room was ready, we were told that if it was, we would have to pay an extra seven euros per hour for accessing the room early (which I had never heard of before).

Had a relaxing, comfortable stay here.

Great location and wonderful front staff. Had a place to store of luggage until check in. Room was comfortable and our terrace was nice. Just a reminder, since it is close to the airport, you do hear the planes.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

Friendly staff, very good room cleaning service and swimming pool/ jacuzzi/ sauna facility. We liked the location and the breakfast as well.

The hotel should have a clear sauna policy on nudity, especially for a small confined space like that.

Great spot, relaxing stay

The hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and efficient, ( especially the staff in the lounge) room had a great view,breakfast was good. The adjoining restaurant was fantastic. Next time we travel to Ponta Delgado we will be sure to stay their again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. There is a lovely pool, steam rooms and sauna.

needs to add face cloths and better bathmats and towels to the rooms.

Very large and comfy bed, helpful staff, good breakfast, very nice pool area.

Hairdryer in the room wasn't great. But overall this place is good.

Balcony with views of town and sea. Great buffet breakfast. Room spacious with desk, armchair and huge bathroom. Swimming pool and jacuzzi. All immaculate.

Mattress protector got all wrinkled up during the night.

Perfect choice.

The room was a very good size, breakfast buffet was extensive, staff was very knowledgeable, location was 10 minute walk from old centre, and the pool and hot tub were a wonderful addition.

We didn't discover the bar/eatery until late in the stay and would gladly have gone there more often. great staff there and wonderful casual menu. The hotel restaurant, right next door, which they recommended, seemed more posh with larger meals.

A nice little hotel on walking distance from the city center

Location is convenient: 10-15min walk from the city center. Very good breakfast: bacon and eggs, good variety of cakes, fruit, jogurt etc. Very good local food in the hotel restaurant O Baco. Nice little indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. The room was spacious and had excellent sleeping quality, mattress, pillows. Safe, big mirror, air-con, kettle with tea and coffee. Balcony with partial sea view. Good cleaning. Nice staff.

There was no fridge in the room. :( I could even pay little extra to have one for longer stays. Sauna and showers were closed the whole 2 weeks I stayed at the hotel. Air-con temp of the room was not adjustable: I could only turn air-con on or off. When it was on it was auto-set to 16C which is way to cold for me unless Im sleeping with a thick blanket! Bathroom floor gets very wet easily and there could be an extra towel to wipe it dry as the towels are quite small. However, despite some negative things I really liked the hotel, enjoyed my stay, could return and would recommend this hotel to others too.

Very nice hotel

Everything was perfect, great hotel, good location and friendly stuff

Breakfast had a small choice of food and all coffee is instant (Nescafé ), what is not very good. But it’s not tragic.

We were hoping for a relaxing stay but it was anything but

Nice inside pool, jacuzzi and sauna

- No restaurant, the bar serves really bad food. - We booked a couples bed room and we're assigned two single beds instead. We booked 7 months in advance - Hotel Parking is paid and more expensive than the parking meter just outside the restaurant - We wake up to airplanes all the time - When it started to rain, the AC unit would make leaking noises which also waked us up - Expensive

There was no fridge in the rooms. :-(( Also: no.coffee.

Nice place to stay for a week

Great location close to the port and city centre. Had a comfy and clean room with balcony on the 5th floor. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of food at breakfast. Wifi was free and working perfectly.
