Decepcionante

La ubicación muy cerca de Santander, de las autovías y un centro comercial.

Bueno es un hotel de carretera literal, esta al lado de una avenida muy concurrida de coches y de una vía de tren el cual pita que parece un barco cada vez que pasa, al principio me dieron una habitación que daba a la avenida y a pesar de tener todo cerrado se oía demasiado la carretera y el tren, pedí que si me podían cambiar a otra habitación he de reconocer que el personal es muy atento y me da pena comentar mal sobre el hotel pero me veo en la obligación de decir la verdad sobre mi experiencia pues de haber leído comentarios como el mio no hubiese ido. Es verdad que para una noche no esta mal sales del paso durante la noche es silencioso pero de día la gente que se hospeda allí no es nada respetuosa y tampoco se le llama la atención. La nueva habitación daba pared con las escaleras aun que no se oían coches se oía a la gente gritar por los pasillos y bajar como elefantes a porrazos por las escaleras entiendo que esto es problema de lo incívica que es la gente y no del hotel pero fue horrible no pudimos descansar ya que a las 6 de la mañana estaban haciendo ruido desmesurado. Además del ruido el hotel esta muy dejado la habitación olía a humedad, el aire hace un ruido tremendo cuando lo pones y las toallas no olían a limpio tampoco sucias pero olor sin mas, mucho olor a cañerías y polvo por todos lados la habitación hacen la cama y poco mas ni si quiera barren ni durante las estancias ni cuando esta sin ocupar el hotel por que había polvo y suciedad de no haber limpiado en bastante tiempo. La verdad cogí el hotel guiada por otros comentarios y me ha decepcionado. No me queje mas por fatiga por ya haber pedido cambio de habitación y por que al final es relativamente barato pero para no repetir. El bar de abajo tiene poca variedad de desayunos y tampoco se ve muy limpio. Tiene parking privado sin cubrir y si no cerca hay mucho sitio para aparcar. La recepción no es 24h.

The location was easy for the ferry. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Good parking in front of the hotel. Handy to have cafe and bar on site.

No le pudimos disfrutar mucho porque solo estuvimos una noche, hotel correcto, para dormir y poco más. La ubicación no es mala pero tampoco tienes nada de gran interés al lado.

El baño, no se si sería cosa solo de nuestra habitación pero olía demasiado mal, a tubería.

Estancia para compararla cuando hagan esa reforma.

El aparcamiento en zona privada junto al hotel.

Necesita una reforma, algunas zonas (terraza de la habitación) no han visto una escoba hace unos días. El tren con un buen aislamiento estaría arreglado.

Functional and clean

Clean enough and pleasant staff. Size of the room was good and the bathroom too. Breakfast was good. Easy to find - good location in that sense. Good for a one night stay.

It's a little dated and my window had a view directly to the works opposite.

Cheap but don't open the windows!

Cheap hotel with free parking and very friendly reception staff

We opened out windows to air it out (had a somewhat stale smell) and within a couple of hours there were hundreds of flies on the walls - receptionist advised she'd forgotten to tell us to leave the windows closed! General state of repair in the hotel is low.

Great location, food, room, wifi and value. Plenty of parking in front and behind the property. The café/bar was used by the locals in the morning as did the open-air restaurant in the evening giving the Hotel Los Angeles a real community vibe

The only thing to mention was that I was visiting with my father who had limited mobility and although the lift in the main reached all the floors to the reach the alfresco dining area a number of stairs had to be negotiated.

great place to stay with animals

I stayed here with my two dogs and a cat for one night before sailing to the UK. the animals were made to feel welcome and given treats and the room was very clean and comfortable. staff were all super friendly. Plenty of free parking with security cameras and hotel is located just ten mins from the ferry port. very pleased, would recommend to anyone looking for an overnight stay before a ferry crossing - especially if you’re travelling with animals!

I had a twin room but there was a third bed in there, so there wasn’t really much floor space for my pets.

Good simple hotel ideal for a stopover before taking the ferry next day. Bathroom was very new and clean. Comfortable bed and good shower. Very good breakfast included. Plenty safe parking.

Perfect location for car ferry, dog friendly, great for one night stay, would recommend.

Location great, 10 mins from Santander ferry port. Dog friendly & only 10euros a night for pets. Nice pet treat gift. Friendly staff. Great restaurant/taverna/bar with outside terrace at back of hotel. don't make the mistake we made and go off looking for somewhere to eat, only to find it when we returned! So annoying! Cafe for breakfast lovely and staff so friendly. Beds very comfy and rooms basic but adequate. No frills, but for the money, perfect for what we wanted, a one night stay before our ferry. Free safe parking, Will definitely stay again.

The sound of water running through the hotel through the night, not sure if it was the room the next door or bad pipes. Rather noisy pipework, it's quite an old hotel, but apart from that, couldn't fault anything.

Good value hotel room. Shame about the hopeless terrasse food and drink service

Hôtel room and check in staff absolutely fine.

Bar and restaurant service transferred to the ´terrazzo’ at the lower level. Here the bar staff were having a good time entertainmen o. h Here the bar staff were having a good time entertaining n’y their friends. Hôtel guests wage their friends. Hôtel guests were largely ignored. several guests got up and left before ordering. I did too. Thankfully other options were available in the locality. This side of the operation is completely unprofessional. Desparately needs management.

Very good

We stayed here last year on the way home at the end of our motorcycling tour. That says it all really. Very convenient for the Santander ferry (10minutes):plenty of parking: excellent value for money:great restaurant with an extensive menu choice. Breakfast is in the cafe/bar which is part of the hotel and offers coffee (of course) tortilla, pastries,orange juice for about 4-5 Euros. Bear in mind the cafe closes in the late afternoon for cleaning before openming again later in the evening, so to find a drink alcoholic or otherwise you'need to walk into town or go to the supermarket just around the corner.
