Ontbijt op de kamer
Goede bedden

The room was clean.
Could not sleep. What can be worse than being tired after sightseeing around Haarlem and not getting more than a few hours of rest?
Room no. 1 (avoid at all costs) is on the ground floor next to the main entry, and even with the window closed, you heard everything, including the constant traffic. There was a steady flow of people gathering to smoke and drink next to our room... until 4am!

Bathroom was decent standard. Trudy who we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable
Toilet roll was not replenished we ran out. One towel had large hole in it. The street was really noisy till late there was a week long festival on. Painting is required in much of hotel. Cleaners only came in one day out of four

A nice room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. A very special breakfast served by a very hospitable member of staff.
I would recommend this hotel tomy friends
Everything was fine.

The greeting on entry and exit was really warm and welcoming despite not arriving until 11.30pm and our est time was 10.00pm. The room was laid out very well and the shower & toilet were combined in a compact cupboard with sufficient room to spread your arms but not enough for you to want someone else using it while you shower. The bed was comfortable and the rooms was very clean and quiet. I cannot comment on the food as we ate in Amsterdam all the time but the serving area always looked clean & ttidy and the receptionists are more than willing to pick you up from or to Santpoort-Noord station. We had a great stay and would certainly recommend to anyone (in fact have recommended to sister-in-law)
The windows were secured closed and unable to open to air the room

Clean room

The room was enormous and very well equipped.
They used to clean very early so we are resting and have to stay 3 days with the room dirty.

Trudis hospitality
The hairdryer in room 3 doesn't work. But it was not a big problem.

There were triple beds so my daughter & I didn’t have to share a double.
We arrived to the lady on reception immediately raising her voice at us for arriving at 2030 instead of at 1600 and said she’d been calling my phone & I hadn’t replied. I said we’d called the hotel at 1630 to say we would not arrive until after 2000 as we were going straight out to dinner. She screamed that she wasn’t told that. I pointed out it’s not my fault if the person we spoke to hadn’t passed the message on & she then calmed down. The hotel & our room & beds stank of stale cigarettes & alcohol. The smell of the pillows was appalling. There is a very steep spiral staircase to the upper floors. I am 70 with knee & hip replacements & found carrying my bags up & down them difficult. If there is a lift we weren’t offered that option.

I was very well received. I recommend!!!

Rotten place, dirty and not secure.

Very friendly woman at the front desk, public parking spaces available close by.
Room wasn't properly cleaned. The bedroom floor was slippery with something and we found a toenail on the floor. The walls are very thin and the room was next to the reception. No effort was made to keep noise down in the evening. Conversations carried loudly into the room, as well as other random noise (vacuum in the lobby for instance, or slamming of doors).

Friendliness of staff,
location next to roundabout, windows next to the road, not smart to open the windows.

It was a perfect way to start our holiday, perfect timing with the fair in town

There was no parking available. No breakfast available, although on the website was written breakfast available anytime but could not see anything available.

Very cosy place and easily reachable. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The host drove my mum after she couldn't get a taxi, which was very nice.
There were noisy guests who were outside the rooms, which you could hear.

the location
dirty and sticky floor, smelly fridge, old towels
2.5
Centrally located. Close to town centre
Poor room layout. Unable to watch TV comfortably. Lack of receptionist. Because of that and with doors open premises felt insecure.
