Gutes Hotel mit kleinen Schwächen

Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt. Die Lage in der Innenstadt lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer waren gut gedämmt und bei geschlossenem Fenster ruhig.

Das Hotel wirbt mit einer Bar, die rund um die Uhr geöffnet ist. Am ersten Abend wurden wir auf die Minibar im Zimmer verwiesen, nachdem wir uns nicht abweisen ließen, wurden wir etwas mürrisch bedient. Am zweitem Abend wurde uns sofort bei betreten des Hotels gesagt, die Bar sei aus Kapazitätsgründen geschlossen (gleicher Mitarbeiter wie am Vorabend). Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption tagsüber war überfordert und inkompetent.

Unterkunft ist zweckmäßig. Die außergewöhnlich gute Stadt Lage lässt über vieles hinwegsehen.

Lage

Sauberkeit Toilette; Anfahrt schwierig, da Autobahn Abfahrt Europaring geschlossen ist und das wohl auch noch länger. Hinweis wäre ratsam gewesen. Navigations App sind darauf nicht vorbereitet.

Goed betaalbaar hotel, hartje van Aken.

Hotel mooi gelegen in het Hartje van Aken. Op loopafstand van alle mooie bezienswaardigheden.

Prima voor een nachtje

Nette kamer en goed schoon. Ontbijt was prima.

Het is er vrij warm en het heeft geen airco. De hoofdkussens waren slap en de douche is heel klein. De deur van de douche sluit ook niet goed dicht.

Central in Aachen, great value for your money!

Great location (only 300 meters from the Aachener Dom), clean and spacious recently renovated rooms, parking € 18/day, fantastic breakfast with an incredible amount of options both hot and cold, great value for your money!

Very good location, decent hotel that could improve with a few minor changes

Really close to the Aachen Church and Charlemagne. Good breakfast choices. Close to good bakeries.

The building isn't very appealing on the outside and also the inside feels very officelike. The rooms are somewhat noisy - you can hear your neighbors using the shower. Some decoration in the reception area and soundproofing the rooms would go a long way.

Aquis Grana is an exceptional hotel, I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

It is as centrally located and provides an in room bar and coffee. The staff was great, even delivering laundry I had done early to my room, and the breakfast is by far the best, most generous I've had just about anywhere.

Excellent overnight stop in a city centre, cannot fault it for this sort of stay.

Location of hotel is fantastic for access to Aachen market squares, bars and restaurants. Room is basic, but large. Classic twin beds that can be split if needed. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, the hot and cold buffet breakfast is superb, in particular the little sausage-meat balls. We are already looking at returning here in December to visit the Aachen Christmas Markets.

Parking could have been a little easier, but we arrived late so our fault the parking had all been taken. The staff were very helpful in finding alternates.

Greatest location

Location is greater than great. I think we will go again. also beds are very good. We are a family of three and we got an extra bed. So there is extra bed available!

Parking has limited places. But dont worry there are parking garages nearby (5 min walk).

Nice hotel, great location!

Nice hotel in a great location. Everything is within walking distance. We stayed in the hotel with seniors for whom long distances are no longer suitable and thanks to the location they were able to explore the whole centre in comfort. They offered gluten free options for breakfast which we also appreciated. We would be happy to use this hotel again on our next visit. In addition, just a few meters from the hotel there is a great confectionery and this came in handy for all of us!

Great hotel near Charlemagne's "Dom"

This is the place to stay if you want to visit historical Aachen. The room had all the necessities for a comfortable 2-night visit, with wonderful shopping and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable hotel in the heart of the city centre

Fast check-in. Spacious, well-equipped and comfortable room. Lots of space to sit and relax. Big bathroom too. Good location in the heart of the city centre. Good quality breakfast buffet. Nice to have tea making facilities in the room too.

The only thing I missed was more coffee options at breakfast (not just filter coffee).

City center hotel, clean, good breakfast and good staff.

Good location, near center of old town. Parking under hotel for additional charge. Comfortable beds.

Our room had an adjoining door. We heard the television, conversations and coughing late in the evening from next door. Soundproofing ineffective. Spoke to manager in morning, who was apologetic, and suggested the door on the inside had not been properly shut. Refunded our parking charge. Another issue is that shower tray had not been fitted correctly, and was unnervingly bouncy! I felt that at any minute I would fall through...manager said he would look into it.
