Very pleasant and would recommend.

My wife and I stayed in the Executive Suite and didn’t expect the rooms to be so spacious! Our rooms all had views of a field of sheep. The hotels restaurant was very good.

No lifts were visible. My wife has arthritis in her knees. We should of asked if a ground floor room was available, but our booking was very last minute.

The hotel should not be selling rooms to guests whilst supporting temporary housing

Hotel with lovely spa and good restaurant

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food at reasonable prices. Spa was fantastic, I had 2 treatments which were very good, and the gym was modern with plenty of choice. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean.

Superb

Had a major delay due to a ferry cancellation. Consequently arrived in the early hours. Springfield made sure that someone was around to let us in and also made sure we had sandwiches waiting for us. Didn't see too much of the hotel, but top marks for looking after us following our problem with the ferry.

Clean quiet airy location with lovely views with very friendly staff

The meal prep was exceptional they double booked the room so to contemplate all staff seemed to go out of there way making our stay more enjoyable

The mattress wasn’t very comfortable on our double bed we both had back ache next morning.

One of the most comfortable and friendly B&Bs I've stayed in

Was very quiet even with the main road. Had window open all night with no real disturbance. Views were amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was spectacular and very reasonably priced, staff very accomodating and incredibly friendly with lots of local knowledge.

PERFECT- Relaxing, Cosy, Friendly, Great Views,

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Paul who showed us through to reception. Jackie on reception was really friendly and helpful. We were early so went through to the bar were we were seated and our Prosecco was served to us at the table. Views are beautiful from the bar and it was a lovely, friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Spa facilities are great and ideal for a girl’s weekend. I treated my friend to a massage for her birthday as y surprise which was great. Our room had a view across the fields with sheep grazing in the sunshine. Restaurant was lovely and food great and generous portions. Breakfast was so good with plenty of choices for hot or cold food. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely and clean, great breakfast and the spa facilities are a real bonus.

Breakfast was amazing - 10/10 for the cooked English and other food on offer. Room was spacious and very clean, great view of the Wirral from our room and quiet too. Even though our room was facing the main carriageway you couldn't hear the traffic at all. Treated myself to a massage which was lovely, and the lady still let me have my two treatments even though we arrived 15 minutes late due to traffic on the M56. Spa facilities were top notch and the hot tub/jacuzzi was a real bonus.

More of a run through on the rules of using the spa facilities would have been nice, only because we went down on our day of departure after we had eaten breakfast and thought while we were there we would check out of our room so the hotel could get on with cleaning it for the next guests, but when we tried to go and use the spa because we had already checked out this meant we weren't allowed to go in. Maybe this is obvious to people who regularly stay at hotels but we very rarely do so didn't have a clue it was going to be a problem. If we had known we would have made sure we used the spa facilities first and then checked out of our room but we thought we were doing the cleaning staff a favour by making our room available for them sooner. However, the staff were gracious enough to let me use the changing rooms to get dressed as we had already left our hotel room by that point and I had the clothes I was going to get changed into after using the spa one final time before we left, in my bag. One slight downside was the staff kept on repeatedly making a point of checking on me in the changing rooms, probably to make sure I wasn't going to sneak in and use the spa, which of course I wasn't about to do after we had been told it was against hotel policy (!) so I was made to feel like I had done something wrong, so felt a little uncomfortable and on edge whilst getting changed but aside from that last hiccup, everything else was really good.
