Breakfast was lovely and we were very satisfied.
Nothing, everything was perfect.

It was a very nice room the bathroom was very clean. The parking was very convenient
The first night, we couldn't get back into the hotel even after ringing the number given several times until we found a door that was open, but it shouldn't have been. The last morning, there was no bacon for breakfast.

We liked the fact that it was central, had good parking and were dog friendly. Reception staff were very friendly and welcomed us - liked the dog bowl, bags and toy in our room.
Breakfast in the morning was a poor experience because we had our dog with us. We were pushed into a different room to everyone else and weren't offered any of the usual breakfast things you'd expect. Those without dogs had continental buffet, cereals, juices, teas/coffees etc. where we had a limited choice hot menu and no offer of drinks etc.
Dinner in the evening was expensive for what it was and I had to send to pints back as they were absolutely awful - avoid the draft ales.

The location was great, right in the town centre with access to all the shops. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was tasty. The room was clean. Receptionist was very helpful. The entertainment in the evening was unexpected and a real treat.
The car park was not big enough to accommodate the number of guests - we arrived at 3pm and it was already full. The alternative was a pay and display a short walk away which was fine, but if the hotel advertises free on-site parking then that’s what you expect to get.
Our room was on 3rd floor with no lift so if you have reduced mobility this would be an issue.
Our room was very small. Considering the price we would have expected something a little more comfortable. There was barely 30cm at the end of the bed to get past which wasn’t the best experience. TV very small with no HDMI port so unable to hook up our laptop and relax with Netflix and we’d hoped to.
One member of bar staff was storming around in a mood which was uncomfortable to watch. He slammed in and out of the kitchens several times which was unprofessional in front of guests we felt.

I stayed in the Pilgrim suite which was a lovely surprise, and added a touch of luxury to my stay.
I was late for breakfast, but was still welcomed and offered a cooked breakfast.
The information supplied via email about car parking was very useful-thank you!
All the staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful, one helped me get a taxi to the wedding venue
I didn't like having to look for the reception staff, and when I arrived back at the hotel after the wedding I was outside for a while before anyone heard my knocks and let me in! But everyone was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was central to all local amenities. I particularly liked receiving information on our stay before our arrival date. This included an on line fast check in.
The rooms were clean and comfy. The hotel was dog friendly. There was a restaurant and bar on site. The food and wine was superb.Beautifully cooked and presented.A good selection of dishes and wines at a reasonable price. At the weekend there was entrainment. All the staff were very friendly and took time to talk to us and make a fuss of our dogs. Nothing was too much trouble for them.We will certainly be going back.
I couldn’t fault the hotel.

The staff were lovely, very welcoming and helpful with everything.
Some residue was left on the tea cups but this issue was sorted straight away by staff

Lovely weekend at the white hart. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Our bath dripped which we mentioned but I imagine it has done so for a long time and won’t be fixed in a hurry. It didn’t bother us (noise wise) but we were concerned about the water wastage. Breakfast was excellent although a bit slow service wise. Overall we had a great time.
No issues.

Building work going on below my room but it didn’t start before an acceptable time.I.e whilst I was at breakfast.
Continental breakfast selection excellent but cooked breakfast option poor except for the sausage which was v.good quality. One mushroom only (undercook)and only half a tomato.disappointing.Needed more than one staff member and more menu options.
Decor a little sad/tired.Car park access difficult to locate.

Lovely quirky hotel. Decoration Lovely. Bed comfy. Great location
Couldn't get into breakfast room as tables not cleared though people had finished. Told to sit in bar. Given menu which just had cooked breakfast on. Unable to access any other selections such as fruit etc. Got juice and toast because I asked for it...not offered. If you want breakfast get down first as once table used once...that's it. Not cleared until after breakfast over.

it’s a cute and personal space - not too big, the bed was amazing and very comfy, the bathroom was lovely and very clean. Staff were friendly
I upgraded because we wanted robes and slippers as we had a movie night planned, we called to ask where they were and we were told they don’t provide them anymore, we were quite disappointed as that’s what we payed the upgrade for, not many staff for breakfast just 1 waiter and he was pushed.

Slight stale smell in rooms and corridors. Could do with air fresheners
4.0 / 10.0
Location. It was convenient for my purposes.
Room was small and noisy. There were no facilities - lounge, spa, pool etc. Breakfast started too late so I had to source breakfast elsewhere. The room was noisy, from the heating (I think), the cellar below and the corridor. The bedroom floor moved when people walked in the corridor outside.
The bar area was a cafe next to but separate from the hotel and open to the public.
The wardrobe in my room was so close to the bedside cabinet only one door could open.
There was very little positive to say about the hotel apart from the location. I will not be going back or recommending the hotel.

I was given a lovely upgrade to the Witham Suite. Well! What a bonus........
An awesome room with such fantastic facilities throughout.
Space, large TV sofa, enormous bed and a stunning bathroom with a huge shower cubicle and a full sized bath.
I slept like a log and throughly enjoyed the opulant life style even if it was just for a night!
Everything!
