Aria condizionata molto rumorosa. Il Minibar era vuoto e spento. In bagno non c'erano ganci x appendere asciugamani da doccia o accappatoi

Wspanialy hotel. Czysto, w pokoju wszystko, co potrzebne (np. klapki, suszarka, codziennie butelka wody mineralnej). Piękny wystrój, przesympatyczny personel. Spokojna okolica, blisko katedry I uniwersytetu. Śniadania urozmaicone I bardzo smaczne.
Wszystko było super.

Great location, beautiful building. Fantastic breakfast both in terms of quality and broad selection. Friendly staff.
We waited a long time to be taken to our rooms while the person in charge was trying to resolve another guest's concern.

Cheiro a mofo no guarda fatos.

Staff was wonderful
4.5
Staff was exceptional, even by the high standards set by all the hotel staff persons we met in other accommodations we stayed in Portugal.
Excellent location for experiencing the beauty of E’vorra.
Due to our ages-75 and 78-we would have preferred a room lower in the hotel; we had not thought to request that when making our reservation. We will request that on future stays. That said, the room was very comfortable and we made it a point of humor every time we went up and down the 24 steps.

the whole experience, my only regret was that I had not booked for a longer stay

The location.
Do not try to drive to the hotel using Google maps as the route takes you to a blocked off street. The hotel staff told us they knew this and had contacted Google about it, but the hotel’s website does not mention this, and we got quite stressed doing a couple of laps in very narrow winding streets. If you are driving, put in the address of the car parking instead, as you can access the hotel from it. Note that there are only 6 car parking spots, and the “close by” parking advised by the hotel is actually an unsecured public car park a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Yes, the hotel advises there is limited parking, but getting a car park at the hotel is like a lottery so you may wish to discount the availability of parking when booking if this is important to you.
We stayed in the ground floor garden suite which was quite large. The lighting in the sitting area consisted of one small desk lamp and was therefore very dark and uninviting at night. The white plaster on the ceiling was falling off on the floor and bed (it is a very old building), and the facilities in the bathroom were very basic - one narrow glass shelf on the wall next to the sink, so there was nowhere to put our toiletries, and there were no tissues in the room.
The fridge did not work, so we called reception to report it and asked for ice to chill a bottle of wine. We were told that ice was in short supply and we could bring our wine to reception and they would put it in their freezer. This was poor service as we think that at the least they could have offered to come to our room to get the bottle. Nothing was done about the fridge not working.
The staff were not very friendly - eg we passed the reception a few times when their were no other guests and the staff looked at us but did not acknowledge us at all.
The breakfast was very basic compared to other hotels we stayed at in Portugal.

excellent location
historical building
has potential
didn’t tell us about booking a parking spot even though we had booked 6 months in advance
hotel was not servicing dinner reservations in an appropriate manner (waited 21/2 hrs for our meal which was cold)
would have expected a staff person to carry our bags up the three flights of winding stairs
broken tap in kitchen
no shelf in bathroom
no Kleenex or paper towels
not enough towels

Gorgeous old building, very clean and fresh but retaining original features from the past 400 years. Huge room with 17c tiling, great staff. Very good breakfast.
Water scolding hot, maybe 60+ degrees C. Difficult to adjust. Maybe on next major refit change tap type to one with a mixer?

Location and room was very nice. Snack menu was very good.
I felt more of a hot option could have been offered for breakfast other than just eggs and bacon.

Excellent location at edge of walled town. Easy to access from main roads to Evora. Staff were lovely. Bed was very comfortable.
Car parking always an issue in Evora. Hotel had a small car park on a first come first served basis.

Situation fine.
Communal areas in the hotel were not sufficiently heated. The bar area was lacking in imagination.

Very good breakfast. An interesting historic hotel - 400 years old. Loved all the nooks and crannies and varied rooms (some larger, some smaller, some with patios, some across a small alleyway). We are seniors and managed the stairs with no problem. Staff were very helpful. Beds were comfortable and bathroom large and modern. Excellent location. Would highly recommend.
Nothing!

Great location in the middle of Evora, in walking distance to the historical sites. Super nice staff, and - important during the Alentejo winter- rooms and common spaces are well heated!

Breakfast was very poor

Location is perfect, hotel personal was very nice by checking-in and out
breakfast is good, but I expected more options. there were no vegetables, there were sweets, only omelette, 3 cheese types and ham.
room is pretty small and it was quite cold there, but a/c helped a little.
Also I forgot my earphones, in the end it was succesful delivery to Lisbon, but only after 2 weeks of mailing and reminding. However thanks for sending it!

Fabulous location. We stayed in the cathedral suite and it was magnificent. The room was amazing on its own, but then the staff showed us our private terrace with views of the cathedral and the city. It definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
The vinyl flooring was poorly installed. But that's it.

Right in the middle of the historical part of the city. From the hotel, you simply walk all around the city. Old house with it's own specific atmosphère.
Very friendly and efficient crew.
Car park is a nightmare. Leave the car at the bottom of the city and walk up 10 minits with your luggage.
Write on the hotel website the address of the parking street for the GPS and not the hotel entrance if you want to drop the luggages.
Adjust the TV screen and sound in the room.

no power in our room 2 days in a row was fixed but then again stopped working. was up first day at 3am due to emergency flood lights coming on and again on the second day at 230am. we were out the entire day exploring came back at 2pm the room was not cleaned at all, the cleaning crew arrived past 2pm when we needed the room. this review will probably not get heard. we paid €88 euros to come via Uber due to train strike and cancellation. thoroughly disappointed.
