Le lieu dans son ensemble, le service/le personnel, l’accueil, la déconnexion que l’on peut y trouver, les fleurs, la piscine, le petit déjeuner.

The wifi connection was reliable.
The staff was friendly.
The location was simply wonderul for a short trek to the beach and several unassuming and delicious restaurants, the bus stop was nearly adjacent to the property for convenience.
Outdoor dining area was sweet, and the rooftop terrace was delightful.
the room was tiny, but it didn't matter, as it was so delightful for access to the beach, public nature park and the outdoor life in general.

Nice location .

Loved our stay here. The hotel is in a great location - around 15 minutes walk from the port (although buses cut this down) but it is ideally placed to fake it convenient for all the main parts of Ischia town itself - the castle, lots of restaurants, shopping, etc.
Regular buses from 5 minutes away serve the rest of the islands and its attractions.
The stag area lovely and really helpful. 24 hr access. The hotel is clean, with a great pool. The breakfast was lovely - plenty of fruit, pastries, cereals etc. And the bed really comfortable. Even had the odd avocado fall into our balcony!
Only complaint was the walls are a bit thin.

One of the loveliest things about Villa Cecilia is the charming family that runs it. They were all so friendly and so helpful. Raphael speaks very good English and was happy to reccomend all sorts of things to do. The kitchen was undergoing work during our stay, but that didn't stop the family bringing us gifts of cakes and savouries whilst enjoying their roof terrace, a surprise that was both appreciated and very touching.
A recommendation and not a dislike at all. But, perhaps to save poor Raphael from telling his guests over and over, would be a short list in the rooms of helpful things to know.

The reception is open 24 hours. The staff are really professional, kind and always available!
I think the service they provide is better than 2 stars! I really enjoyed spending time there and recommend this hotel.

This is a very nice property that is a charming, family-run hotel. The rooms were commodious and comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to help you. The breakfast was great as was the breakfast room. It’s only a five minute walk to the older section of town and maybe a 15 minute walk to the castle.

Lovely, helpful staff, the rooms are really clean, nice view from the balcony, good breakfast - everything you could want! Location is also good, easy to get to the port and the castle area
The furniture is a bit basic but that didn't really bother us, you know what you're getting from the photos

The stuff was very nice, kind and helpfull! The hotel was generally good for the position, the structure and the cleanliness. Maybe, the price-quality ratio was not totally good, at least for the period of my stay (for my october stay it was a little bit expensive). Generally, I recommend it!

Location is spot o as it is close to the beach and very nice restaurants. The hotel breakfast is not what I expected but the staff made it very nice.
The covered swimming pool, the luck of the air conditioner in the rooms and the fact I was bitten by the mosquitos in the room very badly.

Very friendly family run hotel. The staff was always available to provide suggestions on what to do and see on the island. Immaculately clean. Good location near Aragonese Castle. Walking distance to Ischia Ponte and Ischia Port with bars, restaurants and shops. Free parking available outside the hotel. Great view from the rooftop terrace.

The property is very Central, close to the historical town but also a few steps away from the main streets of the center, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the furniture is a bit dated but adds to the place a sense of uniqueness, the staff is extremely kind and always available for recommendations on what to visit and do on the island, overall it’s a perfect place for a relaxing vacation
Ps: don’t forget to visit the terrace…you get a great view on the sea and the aragonese castle

The location was perfect, between Ischia porto and ponte, 20/25 min walk from the port and 10 min from the castle and its restaurant area. The staff was absolutely amazing, everyone was kind and available to answer any questions regarding the island. A beautiful and clean family owned hotel.

The location was excellent, and The staff was friendly.
1. There was no Iron. Not even one in the entire place! My clothes were constantly wrinkled while out in town, making me look like a typical tourist schlub.
2. The shower is tiny! (Forget about group showers after the beach!) As a fat tourist your only hope is to shower with the door open, causing a massive flood in the bathroom.
3. No air conditioning (as a fat American booking at a hotel without A/C in Italy during the summer is excruciating, even though it’s listed as not equipped in the listing… with the advent of global warming A/C is a must).
4. No Television. As a lazy tourist I would like to be able come back to my room and watch Italian soap operas during my siesta.
5. There was no screen on the balcony door allowing mosquitoes to enter and suck blood from my body while I slept. (Having A/C would negate this issue killing two birds with one stone) as an aside, I woke up one morning with a mosquito so engorged with my blood that it couldn’t even fly.
7. No refrigerator. I have not been in a hotel without a refrigerator in at least a decade. It’s almost un fathomable to not have the room equipped with such a modern day essential item.
8. “Breakfast” was limited. Probably better to call it “coffee and pastries” so as not to confuse English speakers (especially on ease Americans) who expect breakfast to constitute a meal, not just a snack.

The manager Raffael was very helpful explaining what to go see & where to eat. He also booked some trips for us. It was great value for money ..good location and will return some day .
Breakfast selection a bit sparse.
