We were placed in residence and it was basically a granny flat we were staying in. Definitely not like the photos on bookings

Had to be booked in before 11pm, tried to get water at the bar but barman said bar was closed, only needed water as the room didn’t have any, for £150 and not even a complementary bottle of water is bad. I’ve stayed in a lot cheaper hotels that have water in the rooms.

Staff was very nice. The grounds, common areas and food were also very good.
The hotel does not put any money in the guest rooms. We did not even have mirror in our room except small one over tiny sink in bathroom. Water pressure was extremely low. Overall rooms are way over priced for the old bedding, stained carpet and lack of amenities, not even a bottle of water left in room we had to haul pitcher of water from bar. Again staff and food and common areas top notch but rooms were extremely disappointing.

We stayed in a superior room as that was the only room left at the time of booking, the room itself was huge and beautiful. Breakfast was also a smooth process which was tasty.
When checking into the hotel the staff were really unprofessional borderline cheeky, myself and my brother who was also checking in with his girlfriend noticed the lady was snappy and were commenting on other guests in a negative way while we were standing there. Wasn't great first impressions. The room cost £195 and we stayed a Wednesday night, this seemed very overpriced for a 3 star hotel midweek stay.

Lovely location, impressive grand ballroom and gardens. Marie in wedding function was lovey.
The lady on reception was boarder line rude and certainly not welcoming
The room was slightly outdated

We were made very welcome at Tullyglass by the reception staff who found us the most suitable room. It was comfortable and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant where we met some friends who were attending the same event in the hotel the following day. We were allowed to delay our checkout until noon which was much more convenient for my wife.
My wife is disabled and we requested a room with a walk-in shower. The only one is in the bridal suite which fortunately was available. There are stairs to the upper floors and no lift. I would not recommend the hotel for guests with limited mobility.

The hotel was beautifull ,Grounds also, staff fantastic. Just the day of arrival tv did not work, housekeeper could not fix, so had to report again next morning, eventually moved to another room, tv working apart from this blip food was amazing, entertainment bit disappointing, overall stay 8 out of ten
Tv not working, should have been checked prior to arrival, , slow reaction ,next day before any reaction, so first night quite deflated.

Room was clean and tidy but was a little cramp for space having paid extra for an upgraded room.

We were attending a family wedding which was fantastic. The setting, atmosphere, food, party and fun made this a day to remember.
When the party was over we were tired and looking forward to falling into a warm, cosy bed. Unfortunately the bed was damp, cold and not fit for purpose. The carpet felt damp, condensation on the window. As it was late 2.45am we rang night porter who promptly came to our room with a colleague. They both agreed that the bed was extremely damp. They went back into hotel to find out if there was an alternative room. Thankfully there was and we packed up and went into the hotel to a lovely room. Warm, dry and comfortable.
When we checked out the receptionist apologised and we said we were glad we eventually had a nice place to sleep.
We were a little disappointed that there was no form of compensation for all the inconvenience we had. A meal voucher or complimentary night would have been appreciated. However, we know this whole episode was not intentional just very inconvenient to us at the end of otherwise beautiful day.

I have stayed in the Tullyglass on occasion for the last 25 years and it’s always been good. staff, food and room has always been good.
in room 104 there was no water pressure in the shower which made it difficult to wash. My wife would not have been able to wash her hair.

Lovely old building in a wonderful setting with lots of parking. Good restaurant. Lots of choice for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.
The hotel has no lift! Accommodation for those unable to use the stairs is an ensuite room on the ground floor at the back with only Velux in the ceiling for natural light!

reception staff could been more friendly and there is no lift

The hotel and staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was great value for money.
We felt our room was extremely small especially while trying to get ready for a wedding.
