酒店的装修很有特色,地理位置好(离中强罗站极近)
被子太小了,建议换个大点的被子
10.0
The dinner, the onsen, the service, the staffs, the ambience, the free massage chairs, everything feels wonderful and exceed my expectation for the price.
9.0
The meals, thoughtfulness of meal for kids, the choice of yukatas, the comfort of the room and baths.
We had to set up the futons ourselves. Usually in traditional ryokans the beds are done by the time we finish dinner.
4.0
the only advantage is the short distance to the railway station
1.The room is too small for 3 person to live in, and I would recommand the hotel to change the standard; 2. The name of our room is 胡桃 and the location between the sink and the room is in disrepair and makes a lot of noise. I sincerely suggest that the hotel repair this room before renting it out.3.When we checked in, we explicitly asked for the room to be cleaned, but we stayed for 3 nights and never cleaned it. We just hung the towels at the door. I don't know why? 4.Even though it is in the mountains with good air, the dust is very heavy, and a layer of soil falls every day. I don't know if it's because of the dust falling from the exhaust fan in the center of the room.5.The chef especially likes to use grapefruit, it is too bitter! Many side dishes are also difficult to eat.

Quiet and clean with good facilities.
Nothing.

Lovely staff, lots of good traditional food, nice baths, comfortable.
Facilities are a little dated, it’s not straight forward to get to the place.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We loved the color palette and style. We enjoyed the room size and general facility. The staff was so kind and very helpful. We would certainly stay again.

It’s a great experience to rest and recharge. Private and public baths were great. Breakfast was a pure delight.
Be advised when you do the booking that there are breakfast or breakfast + dinner options which I missed. The receptionist speaks little to no English and didn’t confirm if I wanted the dinner (which I would’ve done and could’ve confirmed in time). Also place is quite up the hill and a steep walk so the shuttle is a must if you have luggage.

Room and facilities were fine.
The food was very disappointing. very poor quality.

The staff was exceptionally accommodating, we could only speak English and they managed to commute everything extremely politely.
The private onsen was amazing, and the food was lovely.
It was a short distance from a cable train that brought us quickly on a few adventures.
Loved the added complimentary hot and cold drinks
Public transportation there was a little confusing.
Some instructions on the bedding process would have been nice.
The heating/cooling was also confusing.

quiet. clean.
no one at check in spoke even broken English. They promised red wine in lobby but none was available.

clean. nice view. massage chairs.
hardly anyone spoke English. limited restaurant options

the property was in the beautiful mountains of Hakone.
The private bath was blazing hot and it was pretty hard to find and get to. I think there could be clear directions on how to get there from Odawara Station on their listing.

Nice clean traditional room
Fairly extensive traditional Japanese breakfast (great experience, although I personally won't be getting one again). Staff also kindly explained to us what the different things are in English.
Private open air onsen was very cheap and very nice!
Free coffee machine and also Cup Ramen for sale (if you arrive late or don't order dinner, it can be surprisingly difficult to eat-out in Gora). This was truly much appreciated 👍
I've slept on Japanese futons before and found them comfortable. I don't know if it was the floors or the futon here, but it was rock hard. I may as well have been sleeping on hardwood. Very uncomfortable.
Reception staff kindly asked us if we spoke English (in Japanese) to which we enthusiastically replied that yes, we do (in Japanese). Staff then continued speaking in Japanese, which we clearly had hard time understanding (we knew basic Japanese). It was little strange, but I suppose mostly an misunderstanding.

private bath was exceptional and the room was very clean. the staff was very accommodating to us as we only spoke English and very quick with communication pre-check in.
the Osen was not handicapped assessable as advertised. it was down about 20-25 steep steps and no accommodations were made. it’s the entire reason why we booked this hotel.

Great onsen with wonderful staff. Some areas are slightly dated but the staff are amazing and the entire location is impeccably clean. I really loved the food here too. Thank you so much!
Nothing at all

The second private onsen I used was perfect.
The first private onsen use was scheduled for late at night. And since it was almost midnight they just left the key for me on the main desk. However I hadn't been told how to use the key chain to enable the lights. So unfortunately I had to stumble around in the dark on the first night when I went to use my reserved time with the private onsen.

beautiful property in peaceful, picturesque surrounds. Everything was thought of, the staff were so helpful and made our stay the perfect getaway.
that we couldn’t stay longer!

The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was excellent; the onsen was also uncrowded and very good. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price.
Once Covid measures are no longer necessary, it would be nice to return to having the futon made up for you.
