It was nice that we were close to the lake.
The door didn’t shut easily, we had to fight with it each time we needed to lock it from the inside or outside. If this is a disabled access pod and they manage to lock the door from the inside and there was an emergency, they would struggle to open the door quickly. The blind of the front door did not fully reach the bottom of the window. The sofa was broken so it was uncomfortable to sit on. The support was broken in the middle so you had to sit either on the far right or far left. There was a lot of black dog hair in the pod. I have an allergy to dog hair, black labrador hair in particular (my mother owns one) so I was congested and sneezing throughout the stay. It was on the floor, on the units and on the bed linen. There was a cup in the cupboard that hadn’t been washed. I then felt it necessary to wash the kitchen things before we used them because I didn’t have faith that they had been washed properly. The TV support can’t be adjusted so you can watch it in bed and as the sofa was so uncomfortable to sit on, this was very annoying. You describe it as having available Wi-Fi, but at no point could we connect to the internet for ‘light e-mail use or WhatsApp’. The pod was as described as a lakeside pod, but disappointing that you cant see the lake from inside like the other pods in the area, i might have been happy to be able to sit and watch the lake instead of the TV.

Very disappointed that the site let same sex parties on. This is supposed to be a relaxing camp in stead we were awake till 2.30 listening to noise and parties. Security very good and came and sorted it out but not what you want when you have children who can't get to sleep.

The area is surrounded by dense trees, plus it had an area at the back having a table to sit and have some tea/coffee. The kitchen had everything you can imagine. It felt like living at a hill with a direct access to lake.
The single beds were too small even for a 7 year old kid.

The location was good, beautiful landscapes, the cabin was cute, clean inside and had good equipment, there is parking next to the cabin.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, the cabin was very clean inside however the front porch wasn’t. I understand it’s in the middle of the nature but you can tell it was not looked after, we couldn’t quite enjoy much the table and chairs outside and it was full of spiders on top of the entrance door.

Lovely cottage, which was well presented, clean and comfortable. The only issue was the mattress in the main bedroom was too hard for our liking.

Great location, nice property
Over-priced with respect to service on offer.

Lovely, cosy pod with picturesque veiws on the bank of windermere, what's not to love!
The only thing that comes to mind was the WiFi was a bit intermittent, but to be fair we didn't need it, only for looking for places to eat.

Stayed over New Years and the property was fantastic, great location. They left us wine and chocolates and a little doggy hamper for the dog, great touch.

best to go via car wile visiting but taxis to town aren’t that expensive.

Facilities and the pod in particular was a better experience than we had expected. Very nice camping area with plenty parking space & amenities and well thought out too.
Quite dear prices, so feeling a bit of a tourist trap.

The location of our lodge was very quiet. It was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. Located right next to Lake Windermere.
Nice touch was the 2 goodie bags for our 2 little dogs and gift voucher to spend in the shop and cafe.
If I had to pick 1 thing and it is nit picking and nothing really. It would be the microwave has to be the most annoying and difficult to use kitchen gadget I've ever seen, but we did sort of figure it out in the end. This is not a dig and didn't spoil our stay in any way.

Everything from the location to the accommodation was beyond amazing! Staff are very friendly and attentive whether they worked in the cafe , gift shop or the chaps on maintenance.
Having to go home 😫

location near Windermere lake
mould/damp, front door didn’t close properly so constant draft, shower wasn’t hot. was much smaller than the pictures looked/described.

Stayed in a lake side pod an excellent location on the park, beautiful view across the lake,
Ideal size for us to use as a base to explore around.
The pod was warm and cosy, basic cooking facilities.
The entrance to the park was not easily seen and could be easily driven past!
